BitTalkyy helped me with a C# application project and was able to fulfill some very specific requests. Thanks! I recommend his services (always make sure you know what you are doing when running code from a stranger).

saw this old youtube video on "PC Fan Muffler" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5vvtt_vwgoMy S7s will be outdoors so all I need to keep the noise down. Will this fan muffler work ? It certainly use all the concepts discussed in this thread but its look so simple without ducting. I would be worried about restricting the airflow with something like that.

what's you'r asking price for an S7?
I am not selling them individually only as a lot. Thanks Originally you were selling 10x S7's, not 9... So you sold one then, no? I worked out a deal to get one to NastyFans - special circumstance- ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I'm not understanding the physics as to why a 6" long tube on the end makes it any quieter. Do you have dB meter readings to back this up?
The 6" was diameter. Sorry. It is actually multiple feet long and leads outside, so that is where a majority of the noise is routed. I was just curious if a shorter 7" diameter insulated duct over the exhaust fan would also have a good noise reducing effect. I thought it might.

That looks like some sort of hosted joint investment on an SP50. I would like to find 5-10 individuals willing to each purchase 1 or more full units for themselves so that we can place an order with Spondoolies. I have been in contact with 3 people who are willing to purchase multiple units already (if the price is as expected), but again, it appears Spondoolies is not particularly interested in entertaining sales talks at this time.

I have 6" non-insulated ducting to exhaust the heat and I'm surprised at the noise reduction. That alone makes a 100% fan quieter than a 65% fan without it. Have you tried a shorter length, like say 10" over the exhaust fan only? I am wondering if that would be enough to make a noticeable difference.

I wouldn't say the barriers are gone. It is still impossible to buy BTC from a licensed exchange in several states. Definitely making progress though.
compared to 2013 when your only option was wester union and dwolla and gox.... now those are some barriers Actually, I was using gox and dwolla back in 2011 to buy coins. It was pretty simple. Now it is impossible for me to buy BTC from a licensed exchange. Hopefully they are able to clear the last few states from whatever legal hurdles are standing in the way soon.

Here is some information that I have gathered:
Fan Speed My Findings S5 S7 65% = 4200 40% = 3600 3000 3120 35% = 3200 2760 2760 30% = 2800 2520 25% = 2500 20% = 2000
Quoting for good measure (and for easy reference).
