Cryptorush appears to have been haxd. BTCs go alone into the over there.

That's what, the 6th coin now?

They still have my BC from being "hacked". Funny how when a coin starts getting traction there, it gets hacked.

Surprised they are still open.

Kinda off topic.

I have one rig that completely shuts off about 1-2 hours after running. No monitor hooked up to it but both cards have dummy plugs.

The only way to turn it back on is to flip the switch on the psu then the power on/off button will work.

I am on windows 7 and tried to Google but is there an easy way to find some kinda log to see if I have an error causing it? Not sure if it is a power supply or a heat issue. It is an open air system. Not in a case at all.

If possible psu I can pick one up will I get a few more cards today.

Using ccminer35 I keep getting "ccminer35.exe error please close program"

It has happened about 5 times now and always on the same miner. One of my 750ti's.

Running Windows 7 64bit.

That's happened to me as well across my 9x nvidia 750 rigs.  Completely random across different mobo/cpu/riser combos.  I cannot reproduce it.  The older versions of ccminer didnt have this issue.

I've also been getting this all day and had to knock down my overclock a ton on my x6 rig to get it stable.  At least I think it is, it has been up for 4-5hrs now without crashing which is a lot longer than before.

I just changed my gtx670 overclock from +85 core and +385 mem to 20 core and 300 mem in hopes of stopping that from freezing my main system which also has 2 non-ti 750s in it. That and my 4x750ti rig were the ones crashing regularly but just 30min ago my x3 system went down.  Just dropped the clocks way down on that one as well.

For 750s it seems if I have them over +400 on memory they eventually crash.

indeed... i have canceled the OC and the error did not happened again in past 8hrs.
seem like the new version is stressing GPU in higher level so you need more stable OC.

Seems like the theme between us all is OC.

I had that 750to on +125 so I'll lower it.

Running 2 750ti's on ccm35 and 1 GTX670 on ccm30.

My systems stalls/hangs a lot. Is this normal? I am using Windows 7 64bit.

I am also cpu mining a different coin.
See you cpu usage , you need some cpu to use many instancaces of cuda miner or ccminer.

Thanks.

Forgot to check that.

Well my 750ti's went from 10,500 and 11,100 to 13,200 and 12,797 just from me stop using the cpu from mining. But it will not last long since I am going to cpu mine again, just with less threads.

Anyone with a GTX670 get version .5 working?

I get ccminer35.exe stopped working error.

Have to run ccminer30.exe since it's compute 3.0

Thanks

I can't set devises on that version, can I?

If not I'll mine something else with that card.

Is anyone else mining MaxCon with a 750ti?

I'm having some difficulty in find settings that don't give just "boo!" all the time.

The settings I've tried are the keccak ones mentioned in the main post in the below link as well as in the comments, all to no avail...

http://cryptomining-blog.com/944-testing-geforce-gtx-750-ti-maxwell-for-alt-crypto-mining-with-cudaminer/

-a keccak -i 0 -l K1000x24 -C 1 -H 0

The card isn't overclocked and I can mine Fugue, Yac, Heavy and plan old scrypt coins just fine.

Any help will be much appreaciated Smiley

Sorry so late, just got back from work. Here is my bat: cudaminer --algo=keccak -i 0 -l T1024x24 -C 2 -L 1024 -m 1

I have core at +130 and memory +525. Getting 162,300 kh/s. I can't remember my best settings that I had. Should have wrote them down.

But hope this gets you closer.

put -L1024 somewhere in the command line

I tried both -L1024 and also -L 1024 and it's still "boooo" at 75,000 kh/s Sad

Unfortunately I am at work for the next 9 hours but when I get home I'll put in my bat.

I run about 164k on my 750ti's with keccac.

Forget the cryptorush bullshit. This has far more implications. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2014/03/25/text-of-irs-guidance-on-bitcoin-property-not-currency/

Why?

I read it as they don't want it to compete against the dollar and the biggest reason is they get more taxes out of it by trading it as stock and not currency.

Basically what ever tax bracket you are in would have paid less money. Trading as stock. Capital gain tax, wich gives IRS more money.

But if they treat it like that they have to accept capital losses also.

I see it as good. Now the Government has recognized crypto currency as a legitimate form of existence.

More companies will start to accept it as payment now.

No sad story but just from an old saying "If it sounds to. good to be true."

I thought something sounded terribly wrong with the price listed. 0.008BTC for 1 BC.

Yeah I tested the waters knowing something didn't sound right. So I sent 50 BC to set at 0.1000BTC per BC since that was the lowest sell price. I thought no way I would get 5BTC, but hell it is worth a shot.

Kinda like when MtGox had BTC prices way lower than everyone else. And people thought to sent money to buy BTC low and sell it at the higher prices at other exchanges.

And no I don't want 50 BC sent to me. It was a lesson I knew would never happen. I should have listened to my self, "If it sounds too good to be true........."

Hopefully everyone who actually lost their coins some how makes the loss back.

Bad news from Cryptorush: 1.5 million blackcoins have been stolen. All blackcoin balances wiped out.
I think it's better to vote on MintPal.

Not stolen, depending how you look at it. From my understanding from reading.

I had coins there also. I am out of them.

When they updated to the new wallet they left on staking. Some how it doubled everyone's total of coins. Before CryptoRush caught it people pulled their double coins.

CR is saying they were stolen. Funny thing is, not funny if you lost your coins like me, this is the 4th or 5th coin that Cr has had this happened with. Last one being Zeit.

NO other exchange had a problem.

I'm done with CryptoRush. Hopefully 365 doesn't make it there.

Can someone explain to me about the P2P pools.

I understand you need over 1Mh/s to make it worthwhile.

I switched from blackcoinpool to cryptoalts. I have 2.1Mh/s but was getting between 25 to 40% dead rate. Does the Mh/s have to be on each card or total combined for the miner?

I had a few disconnects for some time on each one also so I switched to another coin until I get home from work. Just can't take a chance of not mining any coin for the next 12 hours. I know about fail over bats, just couldn't take a chance with both pools working sporadically.

I have that total of 2.1Mh/s from 6 different cards. Also the cryptoalts takes a long time for me to find a share whereas blackcoinpool comes fast. I know they are mining different things and the difficulty are different on each pool.

Last thing is there an easy way to see what cryptoalts is mining?

Thanks.

It's a per rig deal. And unfortunately due to hash rate now being as high as 150-180 MH/s, you probably want 1.5-2 MH/s on a single rig to make it worth while. Right now pool DOA is pretty high as well (18-20%) because of all the connections coming from various places around the world (we actually now match the DOGE P2Pool DOA rate as an whole). This "stress test" shows essentially why I will be setting up more of these P2Pool nodes in other countries. Doing so will help the following two issues.

1) Needing so much hash power to have a decent acceptance rate on the pool (the more hash the node hash, the more hash you need)
2) Distance causing DOA rate issues as well

Even one of my own rigs that is mining at 700 kH/s is starting to have issues, so yes, more nodes in the future for better rates. If you have high DOA rates and your stats output just isn't what you're expecting, I suggest just mining elsewhere for now. I wasn't expecting the surge up to 200 MH/s today, but it's good to have an idea of what is ideal for one of these P2Pool nodes, and it seems like ~5-100MH/s and nearby works best. Last night when the pool was around 30 MH/s the total DOA rate was hovering at 6-7%. In the future you'll see stuff like "uswest.cryptoalts.com, useast.cryptoalts.com, eu.cryptoalts.com, ru.cryptoalts.com, aus.cryptoalts.com" and etc. Then as a failover you can choose the one closest to you and get the best rates possible. Plus the hash rate per node won't be so high, requiring less on your end as well.

I already have some volunteer P2P node operators in other countries. I just need to figure out an issue of why the automated script payout gets a 500 error to the wallet 75% of the time about halfway through the payouts (then requiring manual processing). Then once that is solved, more nodes can start being deployed.

Thanks for the explanation.

I have a better understanding of the workings of P2P now.
