But now I'm not sure if the flag should stay.
Considering that we're talking about one of those managers that literally works for any kind of project, I think that flag should stay since those who participate in his/her campaigns have a very high chance of getting nothing for their efforts!

Plus, we shouldn't forget about all the shady projects he managed using his old account, persgrata.

BridgeSwap --> SCAM!
FINANCE GLOBAL --> SCAM!
CoinSale Finance --> SCAM!
Yearn.Global --> SCAM!
FLAMING FARM --> SCAM!
CRYSTAL DEFI --> SCAM!
VOLENTIX --> SCAM!
PartyLand --> SCAM!

The flag should stay, imho.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 06, 2023, 02:33:34 PM
If I suddenly became super rich, I don't think I would choose to start an online casino. Actually, I don't think you need to be a billionaire to start an online business, but that's another story. Anyway, back to the point - the thing is, running a casino, whether it's physical or online, involves a lot of work and legal responsibilities that I'm not sure I'd want to deal with. There are other investment options out there that might be more my style and fit better with my interests and skills. Plus, it's worth noting that gambling and running a casino are totally different ball games. When you run a casino, you're managing a business, dealing with regulations, and taking care of legal matters - it's not just about having fun and taking risks.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 06, 2023, 10:11:39 AM
I suppose it is possible for some professional gamblers to earn a living through gambling, but it is a high-risk activity that requires skill, discipline, and years of practice. They typically have a deep understanding of the games they play, a solid strategy, and minimize their reliance on pure luck, instead relying more on their skill.

However, it is important to note that the vast majority of people who gamble do not make a profit, and instead, end up losing money. For most people, gambling should be approached as a form of entertainment rather than a means of making money, and always done responsibly with limits in place.

Finding best casino is very hard for me
I want to play with small amount but i am not getting a best casino

"The best casino" is a subjective term that can mean different things to different people, depending on their preferences and priorities.

Quote
1. minimum withdraw amount should be less than 10$ or 10$

There are numerous casinos that have set their minimum withdrawal limit below $10, or in some cases, an amount that can be considered negligible.
I suggest you take a look at this list: [ Table ] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos

Quote
2. no wager requirement before withdrawing

That request makes no sense. Why would you even deposit funds if you have no intention of gambling?

Quote
3. no min deposit amount

Same as number 1. Lots of casinos don't require a minimum deposit amount.

Quote
4. provably fair or live casino

This make sense. Just because most crypto casinos use a provably fair mechanism doesn't mean they all do, so it's important to verify. And even if they do, you should make sure you understand how it works to be sure the casino is legit.
1545  Economy / Gambling / Re: who to trust in gambling sites? on: March 06, 2023, 08:34:58 AM
Yeah, it's definitely hard to trust a lot of those so-called review sites online. Most of them just rank the casino sites based on how much they get from their referral bonuses. So, you can't really rely on them to give you an honest and unbiased opinion.

What you should focus on instead is doing your own research and looking for objective information about the casino sites you're interested in. Try to find out about their reputation, licensing, and track record of fairness and transparency. You can also read reviews and feedback from other players, but make sure to take them with a grain of salt. For example, even the most popular and respectable casinos can have negative reviews from some players. However, it's important to look at the bigger picture and consider the overall reputation and track record of the casino. Are the majority of the reviews positive or negative? Are there any common issues or complaints that are mentioned in the reviews?

Ultimately, it's up to you to decide which factors are most important to you when choosing a casino to play at. Just remember to do your due diligence and research before depositing any money or giving out personal information.

Thanks for the info and suggestion, I'm trying to wrap my head around all of this.

Is is possible to set the seed-phrase manually? I can't remember being prompted to enter one when setting up the wallet

It depends on the specific wallet you are using. The primary purpose of a seed phrase is to act as a backup and recovery mechanism for your digital wallet.

In general, most wallets will prompt you to enter a seed phrase during the initial setup process. In some cases, when you reinstall or switch to a new device, you may need to choose to restore your existing wallet instead of creating a new one. During the restoration process, you will typically be prompted to enter your seed phrase, which will allow you to regain access to your existing wallet and funds.
1548  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Business sale. Net profit $ 70,000 + on: March 05, 2023, 12:03:26 PM
Are you serious? That is, for you, the review of some person is already proof? You are too naive. Believing every review without checking the activity is beyond stupidity. I hope you're not affiliated with the law enforcement.

Your trust summary suggests that you have a track record of promoting obvious scam projects without conducting any due diligence, and even continuing bounty campaigns despite being alerted of their fraudulent nature by other members. This shows that your primary concern is your own financial gain, with little regard for the well-being of others.

Trust summary for Formula Bounty:
shasan    2023-03-03    Reference    Promoting scam project and didn't lock the project after giving warning.
FatFork    2023-03-03    Reference    Promoting scam/fraudulent projects.
icopress    2022-08-12    Reference    Avoid this bounty manager. Persgrata/Formula Bounty, belligerent and irresponsible user who launches fraudulent projects aimed at people who do not understand and do not want to take cryptocurrencies too seriously.
sharos    2022-07-03    Reference    Partners of serial scammer. Created multiple account to hushed previous bad records.

Trust summary for persgrata:
icopress    2022-08-12    Reference    Avoid this bounty manager. Persgrata/Formula Bounty, belligerent and irresponsible user who launches fraudulent projects aimed at people who do not understand and do not want to take cryptocurrencies too seriously.
logfiles    2022-06-19    Reference    Manages various scam bounties and do not carry out Due diligence
Jawhead999    2020-12-31    Reference    Unprofessional bounty manager, multiply managing scam project
sharos    2022-06-19    Reference    Promoting scam project partyland. Unprofessional activities- If user complaint about his scam promotion, This manager decide to ban them

Promoting questionable or fraudulent projects without conducting proper research is not a good feature of any serious business because it undermines the credibility and integrity of the business. By prioritizing financial gain over the well-being of others, a business risks damaging its reputation and losing the trust of its customers and partners, and can also lead to legal and ethical issues for the business.

You look too stupid.

Wow, I'm truly in awe of your level of professionalism. I can see why your business is such a smashing success.

1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finantial tracking app asking for BTC address on: March 05, 2023, 10:30:17 AM
This worries me. Is the seed phrase the same thing as the password used to encrypt my wallet in btc core?

What worries me is that you don't know the difference between the seed phrase and the password (passphrase). No, they are not the same! The passphrase (AKA password) in Bitcoin core is used to encrypt the private keys in the wallet data file, while the seed phrase is used to generate the private keys themselves. So while both the passphrase and the seed phrase are important for securing your Bitcoin, they serve different purposes.

If I make a new address per transaction, is it possible for someone to see that all these transactions came from the same wallet?

Yes, it is possible. Although using a new address for each transaction is a good privacy practice, it's still possible for someone to link those transactions together and determine that they all came from the same wallet. There are some block explorers, like for example WalletExplorer.com, that can use advanced algorithms to analyze blockchain transactions and attempt to link them together.

If I delete an address from bitcoin core that I've previously shared with someone, does this mean that this person can no longer see my wallet balance?

How will you delete an address from your bitcoin core wallet?
It seems like there might be some confusion here. Sharing a single address does not give anyone an insight into your entire wallet balance, but it is still possible for them to track down your other addresses through the use of blockchain analytics. Sharing the master public key of your wallet, on the other hand, is a completely different story.

(By the way, it could be helpful for you to learn the ins and outs of key and address generation in hierarchical deterministic wallets.)

I am truly sorry for him.

I'm not. I've reported that for trolling, because, although he might have been drunk or high when he has done that, it's not even funny and .. it's still trolling.
However, I know that trolling is more often ignored than getting handled, but we'll see...

I did the same. Looks like the mods caught it and deleted the troll's post and all the off-topic comments.

I get it that it's important not to give trolls too much attention, but it's always a good idea to report any behavior that violates the platform's guidelines, including trolling or harassment. This helps to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all members. I'm glad the mods share the same perspective.

Extra-terrestrial colonies and reducing climate change

The amount of scientific evidence supporting climate change is overwhelming, and in as short as 50 years, there is a chance that cities and entire nations may be destroyed by droughts, heat waves, and floods, which would cause a groundwater and crop catastrophe.

Interplanetary protections
Breaching Earth’s atmosphere and orbiting the planet at thousands of miles per hour is no easy feat. Spacecraft, telescopes, and satellites need to be constructed to withstand extreme conditions and the potential hazards of space debris.

Putting safety first in space resulted in equipment like shock absorbers, ice-resistant electronics, and fire retardant materials. These developments help skyscrapers endure earthquakes, keep airplanes from icing over in cold temperatures, and prevent firefighters from sustaining severe burns.

1554  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell a Casino Script | 27 Unique Games | 100 Slot Games on: March 03, 2023, 01:23:31 PM
How does casino script works? From what we can see from the webpages, what things do you own from it? Is the UI included? Sorrry for the dumb question.
Script is the unique structure and plan of a businesses . Everything from how a site will be managed to what content will be on the site to what games will be included.  You just need to buy it and host the site on your domain and do various types of marketing to rank the site. As in a drama or film, the acting is performed according to a script.  If you buy this script, you will manage the site according to the same script, you will not need to plan for the site separately.  The key is that you have to buy a plan from him.

I don't think that's the script we're talking about. In this context, a script refers to software - code written in scripting languages like PHP or JavaScript - that you install on your web server to operate an online casino. The software itself has little impact on how you want to run your casino or your business plan. Although, when it comes to setting up an online casino, the script you choose to use is an important consideration, but it's only one piece of the puzzle.
1555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the best mining platform for btc? on: March 03, 2023, 12:15:51 PM
So I'm asking today if there's any legit btc cloud mining platform so I can help my friend with?

From what I've seen, there aren't any cloud mining platforms that are both legit and profitable, so be wary of any that promise guaranteed returns or seem too good to be true. There have been a ton of scams and Ponzi schemes in the cloud mining space, so a lot of platforms that seem like they'd be profitable are actually just trying to scam you. It's important to be super careful and do your research before investing any money into one of these platforms.
1556  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is Crypto Payment Gateway? on: March 03, 2023, 12:09:20 PM
But what according to you is an ideal crypto payment gateway?

In my opinion, an ideal crypto payment gateway should be an open source self-hosted solution, like BTCPay Server. One big advantage of open source is that anyone can review the code and make sure it's secure. Plus, when you host the payment gateway yourself, you have more control over how it works and can customize it to fit your needs. And the best part? Self-hosted payment gateways are more affordable in the long run, since you don't have to pay ongoing fees or transaction charges to a third-party service.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Deposit Exchange Rate shocks on: March 03, 2023, 10:34:51 AM
Oh, that's a bummer to hear! I know that Bitcoin ATMs often charge higher rates because of the convenience they offer, but I can see why you'd be hesitant to use them again if the price difference was that significant. While it's true that buying Bitcoin through an ATM may not be the most cost-effective method, it's important to weigh the pros and cons of each option before making a decision. For example, buying Bitcoin through an exchange may offer lower fees and a wider range of options, but it may also require more time and effort to set up an account and complete the transaction.

I heard about Bitcoin Depot ATM provider, not sure if this is the same company. Thanks for sharing your experience though, it's good to know that the rates at Bitcoin ATMs may not always be the most competitive.

Saxydev, we had a discussion about your supposed payment a few weeks ago, but you still haven't provided any valid proof of payment, neither publicly nor in a private message to a trusted DT member.

The information and screenshots provided previously do not match, particularly the block number of the transaction does not match the time stamp. To prove a payment on the Monero network, the only valid method is to provide the correct TXID and TX secret key. As I have mentioned repeatedly, these details do not disclose any information about the sender (you), but only the recipient address and amount sent. Therefore, there is no privacy concern in sharing this information publicly.
