We just hit 1000 publishers who have our banner ad slots installed!

I prefer blockchain.info and suggest it to the CoinURL users who are not aware about Bitcoin.
1543  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] BitcoinAdvertisers.com, BitcoinAdvertising.com, Andrew Bitcoiner on: September 30, 2012, 12:30:55 AM
BitcoinAdvertisers website not working for many hours. I guess this scammer decided just to run away with the Bitcoins collected from advertisers without paying anything to the publishers!
1544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good start up business? on: September 29, 2012, 04:38:03 PM
Comparing feature set with other Bitcoin advertising networks, CoinURL is the most closest to the Google AdSense.
1545  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling ad space! on: September 28, 2012, 04:02:37 AM
I highly doubt coinurl would wanna do what I'm asking for but whatever here goes the shot.

You pay the 1.5btc to run your ad on my blog for as long as the website is active.
It is not reasonable! Have you seen a bunch of sites with Operation Fabulous placeholder banner "Your ad here"? Many of them cannot find advertiser for many days or even months. Pay-per-click is more fair scheme, you always will be supplied with network-wide ads. Also if some advertiser decide to advertise on your website exclusively, you will get higher CPC.
1546  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling ad space! on: September 28, 2012, 03:40:52 AM
Try placing CoinURL banner ads.

I can work at a deal with CoinURL. I have used them but only for a short while before I gave up (Before I had the site). I'll run all my external links via CoinURL if you pay 1.5btc for the initial fee. It'll get more people involved in the bitcoin community who deal with monetizing situations or when I make my Silk Road post (Later in the upcoming month).
I don't understand, for what are you asking 1.5 BTC? We offer pay-per-click banner and pay-per-view interstitial ads, but not fixed price model.
1547  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling ad space! on: September 28, 2012, 03:31:43 AM
Try placing CoinURL banner ads.
1548  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Something better than Operation Fabulous? on: September 27, 2012, 02:25:30 PM
What about ordering publishers by number of impressions, not the highest bid? In current condition even large sites are experiencing difficulties to find advertisers if they have no bids.
1549  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Real money to Bitcoin payment processor on: September 27, 2012, 01:43:48 PM
Does OKPay accept now credit cards? I haven't found info on its site.
1550  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Real money to Bitcoin payment processor on: September 27, 2012, 03:53:44 AM
Exchange rate fluctuations are not a big concern for me if I will be able to transfer funds to the exchange within few days. The main problem is possible chargebacks, because if some advertiser will buy ads on some tangible amount and make chargeback, I will be unable to cover my liabilities to the publishers.
1551  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Real money to Bitcoin payment processor on: September 27, 2012, 02:18:19 AM
Is this for online/e-commerce or retail point-of-sale?  Also what country is the merchant in and where are the customers from?
It is an advertising network. I am in Latvia, customers are from entire world.

For online/e-commerce, you might consider OKPay.  [Edit: Oops, they no longer accept credit card.]

Funds from OK Pay can be deposited with Mt. Gox, BTC-e, Bitcoins Direct and numerous others.
Recently I have received many requests from advertisers who wished to use PayPal or credit cards. What options exist?

Also, be careful using the term "real money".   Bitcoin is a lot more "real" than that fiat stuff that Ben and company create out of thin air.
Oh sorry, more correctly would be "government-issued currency".
1552  Bitcoin / Project Development / Real money to Bitcoin payment processor on: September 27, 2012, 01:07:49 AM
I am looking for a payment processor who will accept real money payments (credit cards, PayPal, WebMoney) and fund my account in Bitcoins.

We have plans to start accepting non-Bitcoin customers in the CoinURL, but keep Bitcoin as base currency.
1553  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ad space on BTC411.com on: September 25, 2012, 07:47:17 PM
I'd say your text ads are very similar to google adsense, It looks like the adsense ads and the entire program resembles adsense.  To say non-bitcoin ad networks pay even less is completely inaccurate.  The lowest click from google I've had is around $0.25 and in the past I have had clicks pay over $5.  Generally my clicks come in at around $1 per click.

I tried to setup AdHitz on the Daily Bitcoins for some time, CPC was less than 1 cent.
Google AdSense has very restrictive TOS. I asked him if they accept sites like Daily Bitcoins, they said no.

I don't know if coinurl is your site or not, and I love the site design and the concept.
CoinURL and Daily Bitcoins both are my sites.
1554  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ad space on BTC411.com on: September 25, 2012, 07:30:09 PM
Am I wrong on the payout though?  Is it really that low for publishers?
Cost per click is determined solely by the market. We don't set prices. We even currently don't charge any commission fees, i.e. amount paid to publisher = amount paid by advertiser.

Average cost per click on CoinURL currently is about 0.0012 BTC ($0.015), non-Bitcoin ad networks pay even less.
But if some advertiser will decide to bid only on your website, he guaranteed will set higher price.
1555  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ad space on BTC411.com on: September 25, 2012, 07:16:50 PM
Bidding on particular sites were introduced just a week ago, therefore many advertisers just don't understand what is it and place their ads network-wide. Anyway, even if you don't have any bids, you will be supplied with network-wide ads, so you have no reason to worry.
1556  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ad space on BTC411.com on: September 25, 2012, 01:28:44 PM
Try placing CoinURL banner and link with the text "Your ad here" below it. You will be immediately supplied with the network-wide ads, but when some advertiser will see high valuable traffic from your website, he can place site-specific ad with guaranteed higher CPC.
1557  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: September 25, 2012, 01:51:40 AM

This weekend (September 22-23, 2012) we will perform repair and upgrade of our hosting servers! The most of works will be performed at night time*, during which servers can be unavailable for short time. Also servers' performance drop is expected during this time.

Sorry for inconvience.

I don't know exactly if/when downtime will happen and just want to notify you.

P.S. We want to believe that this maintenance is the last in series of issues that have emerged few times during last week.
