My dad is 79 yo. He's a retired carpenter but has always been interested in technology, electronics and related stuff. Back in the 90s, when I was just kid, he bought me a computer because he knew that's where the world was headed and we learned to use it together. During the years, I developed my passion in computing and programming and I always taught him to use all the tools needed to be a good user (he even uses things like password managers and multi-factor authentication tools).
Fast forward to early 2020, just before the pandemic, I started to buy BTC and I had always told my dad about this new "digital gold". He was skeptical (he's lived most of his life with FIAT and cash after all) but curious. He thought it was too risky though.
Not sure why, but last week he finally told me he wanted to try it. So we setup his software wallet and he bought 0.01 BTC. Not sure if he'll buy more, but I can certainly say I'm proud of him!
Did you manage to convince your dads or other older people in your family to buy BTC?
Not my dad specifically, but I was able to persuade people to buy bitcoin when it crashed last year because I believed that was the best opportunity for them to do so and reap the rewards when the price has gone up in the future. Fast forward to this year, and some of them have sold and are waiting to buy again, especially now that the US is not amicable toward the entire crypto market, but regardless, it's a good time for people to buy again. As elderly men sometimes forget as they grow old, and given how old he is, he may one day forget that you ever assisted him in purchasing bitcoin unless you remind him. I will suggest you assist your dad to store the seed phrase or private keys to that bitcoin. |

My regret is that I never had the chance to own bitcoin when it had little worth, but I do wonder if I will keep onto it to now, considering my financial struggles. I asked myself that question to console myself because I might still be naive even if I had the chance to accumulate more bitcoin back then. The only thing I consider to be more of a regret is that I should have had the knowledge I have now earlier because it would have protected my finances and controlled my spending habits. Nothing is bad, however, hence I try to preserve the bitcoin I do receive from weekly forum payments and buy more. It's better late than never, right?

Please let me clarify first: anyone who is extremely poor or wealthy is not included in this discussion. Only those who are employed with steady income, some savings and spare time will find this topic useful. I guess most of us are doing fine now but financially we have to face one common problem: how to spend money. This issue leads to many consequences if not handled properly. Here I would not start any broad and subjective agruement. To deliver my message clearly, I am using some specific examples to elaborate. For example, a lot of peole complain that their income is not enough to cover their daily expenses so they can't save much money while...they spend seven bucks on a cup of coffee almost every morning, throw a hundred dollars on some gym membership cards but never show up training, have dinner with some random girl in an expensive restaurant, buy drinks in bars and waste hundreds of dollars... The list goes on and on. If you live this kind of lifestyle and at the end of months, you are running out of money or can't pay the mortgages, whose fault is this ? I can not provide any statisitics but I am sure that many people have fallen in the trap and can not get out. I hope you are not one of them.
This is simple and I will make it easy for you to comprehend. Just because you like to stay indoors doesn't mean I'm equally introverted, I could be an extrovert that wouldn't want to stay home. Again, because I love taking bear and hanging out doesn't mean you have to be like me. It is all choices even if we earn the same amount of money, all life without fun is doesn't make sense, but we have to do it moderately but saying because my source of income is never enough should limit my way of life totally is out of debates, I will save and spend flamboyantly but it doesn't mean I must suffer it. |

Chelsea moving upward in the English Premiership league table is possible considering their recent performance the blues has not been in good form in their previous matches before their recent two matches that ended in their favour, the blues has to be more aggressive in their attack in other to achieve their goals in the club so that the good records of the team will not diminish.
Chelsea’s bad situation is now slowly starting to clear up with Potter able to field brilliant wing-back pair James and Chilwell in the same side for just the eighth time this season. Injuries are part of the game but Chelsea's pile up has been extreme. At its worst, the number of players out at the same time ran into double figures. As the injuries begin to pile down, Chelsea has began to field their first team players and now they’re playing good football and it’s been obvious in their last games. I lost my Chelsea ticket when they beat Dortmund, but I'm not impressed since they would have still lost on a regular ground level, but two confirm penalties assisted them, which is why I'm not confident back as they are known to be. If a team wins 9 games and loses 9, they have a lot of work to do to make up for their ineptitude. Let's hope they beat Leicester City and move out of 10th position, where they've been for several weeks. I'm also curious to see what Enzo and Felix can bring to the team, but I haven't seen anything deserving of the excitement of being replaced by Auba and the rest of the squad. |

Today morning received the weeks payment. I had the payment of the previous week. Altogether it was around 0.0055 in the wallet. The first bet was planned to be 0.0005 BTC. Instead of placing 0.0005 BTC, I misplaced 0.005 BTC and the bet was lost. This was completely unexpected and it is my fault. If the bet have won my wallet balance could've turned 0.007 BTC, now it is an empty wallet. Have any of you encountered such wrong bets and won/lost  This is sad to see you lose an entire balance but I think this mistake arises for gamblers many times without numbers, I have been a victim where I stake my entire balance for a single ticket of a single match when I wasn't sure about what I played, the game never came and I Learnt my lessons and left the Casino since they don't have options to use the modal slide. It is very easy to wager or stake a game when they have something like 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% or something like when they display the percentage in value so that a player can easily spot what they are trying to bet. Is a complete squad now a measure for a team to win a match? We didn't see many goals in yesterday's games, but there were important matches and results that will affect the course of the league. Barcelona beat Valencia 1-0 at home. Barcelona managed to break Valencia's resistance by scoring an early goal, but couldn't reflect this in the second half. A missed penalty early in the second half and a red card afterwards left Valencia in control of the game. But Valencia couldn't find a goal and the match ended 1-0.
The other important match of the day was real Madrid, who drew away to betis. With this loss, the point difference with Barcelona increased to 9 points. It would have been better for them if they had won this match. Betis are a team in form and they play well. It was also difficult to beat them at home and real madrid couldn't do it.
Barcelona did well from this match, because Valencia players really prepared well to disgrace Barcelona by reducing their points but Barcelona coach never allow such thing to happen than to make use of the players that know how to work hard to achieve early goals to start the match. They succeeded to scored one goal in the first half that made them to do everything possible within their power to maintain the one goal till the end of the match, that made people to rate them well. Real Madrid didn't display well in the first half, because Betis players really understood the tactics Real Madrid players were using at the moment that made the match to ended up draw. I have just searched some records of Valencia and I couldn't see any recent records where they were able to beat Barcelona, it is either their draw or loss to Barcelona which they still repeat the same thing in their last encounter. It is going to be the first time after 13 years of Valencia going to the relegation zone, this is something I don't want to see them end up like this, 9 points from 3 matches before the end of the season will shift them out of that zone and qualufy for next season but I doubt if that will be possible because they have only win 2 matches out of the 24 played, they seriously have not been in good form. |

Football is all about making the impossible possible, real Madrid supposedly are the greatest team in the champions league and have proven their dominance in the league, but this second leg return between the champions and Liverpool is going to be thrilling match to watch especially when Liverpool just had a record breaking inspirational win over inform Manchester united. Liverpool will be going into this at least with their confidence already boosted over their massive victory although Madrid has the upper hand after winning the first leg and are currently playing from home but I feel an impossible feat can still be done by the Liverpool boys.
Forget about their league dominance; Real Madrid just knows when to turn things around in the Champions League when people are about to give up on them. Just look at last season and how they trashed important English teams as if they weren't that important in the first place, and how they always make a comeback in their matches during the second leg. If Real Madrid were in their position, I might have given them some support in making it out after the second leg, but looking at the situation in Liverpool, they may have just played one of the greatest matches with Manchester United having finished them is a great achievement, but I don't think they will succeed in the second leg. |

Yeah Nobody thought Liverpool could 7 scored without conceding, it was a goals party for them. Manchester City were really surprising against Leipzig in the first leg. Their performance in the second half especially was really unsatisfying and that was why they got a draw there. But in Etihad I don't think Leipzig will be able to stand much chance against them. I don't expect to watch the same Manchester City this time. Guardiola would warn his players about their mistakes in the previous match and we would see them showing a solid performance this time.
Leipzig aren't a big obstacle for them. The real challenge would be against Real Madrid for example. We all must be remembering that legendary draw last season.

But they don't have the luxury of making mistakes to prevent Real Madrid from gaining with them in the standings. This is the biggest chance for Barcelona in the recent years to make it to the league title.
It will be a remarkable history for Barcelona if Xavi wins Laliga; Messi's absence hasn't benefited them because he was the last guy who helped the team win the last one in 2019, and it has always ended in second or third place after then. Nevertheless, Real Madrid has not given up, which adds to the excitement and intrigue, but to be honest, this season will favor Barcelona and will break Real Madrid's grip on the Laliga trophy in Spain; it should not be Real Madrid that wins the title every season. By the way I wonder what Sevilla will do in the remaining time period of the season. They need improvement in their results again otherwise they will still be making an effort to stay in the La Liga even on the final weeks.

Manchester City also met the expectations today by having a comfortable win over Newcastle in Etihad. The championship race is going on heatedly between them and Arsenal.
Manchester city continues to stick to Arsenal at the top of the standings and they managed to secure three points with a 2-0 win through goals from Foden and Silva. Of course this victory results in a point gap with Arsenal only 5 points away and does not provide a large point gap with Arsenal, even though Newcastle also put pressure on but Manchester city can handle it well, at least I won because I bet on Manchester City  It has devolved into a horse race between Manchester City and Arsenal, if any of them suffers a single setback, the route to winning the EPL title is over. The fact that Arsenal is 5 points behind Manchester City does not inspire confidence in the Gunners winning the Premier League. Much like their last encounter against Bournemouth yesterday, it needed elegance and luck for them to recover from that strain. They would have lost the match if it hadn't been for their determination, and Man City will be rejoicing since a single match win from Guardiola would put Manchester City ahead of Arsenal. Arteta needs to strive harder to win more matches so they can be free of tension. |

I think Arsenal fans must be happy and excited now as Arsenal are leading 5 points on the table over Manchester City and there is a high chance for Arsenal to win the English Premier League title this season. Scoring goals against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium should not be a difficult task for the Arsenal players, I think Arsenal should be able to claim an easy victory against Bournemouth today.
The gap of arsenal is not enough to win the league for the season it is something that Manchester City can take a lead if Arsenal miss any chance of winning Any game. Arsenal just need to win the match against Bournemouth to increase their point to make them keep leading the league. Correct. the difference of 5 points does not make Arsenal secure the first position in the current standings. because Arsenal must try not to lose in the next matches. and if we pay attention to the competition in rankings 1-5 is very tight. the difference from each rank is only 5-6 points. and still 13 games for the season. so that ranking changes will still continue to occur. even Arsenal and Man City still have the opportunity to exchange places in 1st and 2nd place. This win is important for Dortmund and help them to get more confidence and better prepared for a match with Chelsea in Champions League. Chelsea have their troubles and in a crisis time but they are big club and won't be beaten easily.
If Bayern Munich wins against Stuttgart, they will both have comparable points with Dortmund. Unfortunately, Dortmund has lost a lot more games than Bayern Munich and was able to draw their most difficult game, but because they don't have points differences, there is still space for progress. I believe Dortmund has been undervalued by Bayern Munich; otherwise, they would have performed better in draw matches. I have to give Bayern credit for still having a significant point in the Bundesliga and a good foundation in the Champions League even though some players have been away for some months. Chelsea would be no problem for Bayern Munich, they would trash them long before Potter realized the team they have been playing. |

Barcelona players are not available. Most of their best players are out injured. They are without Lewandoski, Dembele, Pedri, Christensen and Gavi for the match against Valencia tomorrow due to a suspension. They are just seven points ahead of Madrid at the moment and a loss to Valencia will reduce that to four points if Madrid wins against Betis. Now here is the tricky part, Barca will play Bilboa next and we all know how much of a pain in the ass Bilboa can be to Barcelona. After Bilboa they will play Real Madrid. So if Barcelona don't handle the next three matches they have very well they could find themselves just one point ahead of Madrid or worst, below Madrid. They can only hope for Madrid to keep been inconsistent in the league.
I don't know what to think of Real Madrid after they lost the last Elclassico with Barcelona but looking at the first and second leg, I think it's a settled match since Real Madrid won the first leg while Barcelona won the second leg both away matches, how hilarious this turned out. Real Madrid should be able to win against Betis because Fekir would be absent in that match and looking at their recent matches, they are lagging behind and that should secure 3 point for Madrid if they are serious. However, the question is, will Barcelona afloat in one place to see Real Madrid comes close to them, they will likely win Valencia even as their good squad is injured. |

I think Napoli have a good chance of reaching the final depending on the draws for the next round. I expect them to win in the 2nd leg like they won in the 1st leg and if they can draw 1 of the weaker teams I think they can go far If they are going to play against Real Madrid I think that would be bad luck because they are 1 of the most exciting teams in the Champions League. The game against Real Madrid would be fun while it lasted though.
Napoli is one of the teams I'm looking forward to watching how they play in the second leg, but I believe they have the upper hand in moving to the next stage; if they draw and win their second leg, they could face Inter, and if they do, Napoli might go to the semi-finals. The only barrier I see for them is Bayern Munich or Manchester City; even if Real Madrid wins their stage, it would be tough for them to pass past those teams easily. I believe Chelsea cann definitely become better if they sack Potter as soon as possible and bring the right manager for the team. They are just wasting time with Potter right now and the season is going on terrible for them in every tournament. I won't be surprised if they become eliminated by Dortmund in the Champions League as well. It wouldn't be surprising to have a similar game to the first one.
Because Chelsea are still unable to score even one goal. There need to be an explanation for this but I don't see any.
Coaches are not fired in this manner, if managers are fired in this manner for ineptitude, the club will lack vision. I understand how hard it is to see your club fail twice in a row, but I believe it is too early to dispute that, they should give him till the start of next season, just as Erik was able to turn things around for Manchester United. |
