@ILuckyGuyI

Very nicely done on that betslip I am impressed and a complete recovery from the Real Betis selection not scoring. But it seems that Barcelona has found a young player on their team they are referring to as the next Messi for them now.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/30/football/barcelona-lamine-yamal-youngest-ever-player-spt-intl/index.html
Have them join the club at the youngest age and have them flourish just like 'La Pulga'. So we will see. Grin

Anyone else looking to see if the two bottom teams in the league will get out of the relegation zone today with a win?
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/england/premier-league/leicester-city-v-everton-fc-64456f9e2666e4c8be966519

I expect a primed Leicester City side to show that Fox fighting spirit from yester year where they say "Never die!" in today's match up with their relegation rivals Everton.

Djokovic's attitude is very irresponsible, he must take seriously and respect the laws of other countries and including his country, when countries say that people must be vaccinated then people must be vaccinated, rules are to be followed, laws are to be fulfilled, he is a professional athlete, he knows that it is forbidden to use drugs in order not to get tired easily, so he does not use drugs because he fears being penalized, so what makes him think that with vaccines he should be an exception? Where have you seen a country change the rule because of it and harm many people? that wouldn't be right, what kind of good example would come if they allowed him to play even without having vaccinated? that would be wrong, all people need to respect the rules even when they don't like it

Medvedev will play today and it doesn't look like it will be a difficult match for him yet, looking at the players who are in the same draw as Medvedev it looks like he is in an easier draw than Alcaraz, so the chances of seeing Medvedev in the final will be wide open.
The match between Medvedev and Shevchenko have moved to the third set. Many expected this to be an easy match for Medvedev, but It looks like third set result will be upon the time breaker. Shevchenko won the first set 6-4. Medvedev made a comeback in the second set and won the set 6-1. The match have moved to the deciding set.

First set of Lajovic vs Struff match moved to tie breaker and Lajovic wins 77-62. Possibly the match ends in the 2nd set.
Followed this match between Medvedev and Shevchenko while it was 1-5 in the first set. And some how he brought it all the back to 4-5 but lost.
Then the second set was all Daniil taking it convincingly. The third and final set was very rocky for the Russian as he went down 4-2 but took it 5-7.
So that makes it 8-0 for Medvedev when it comes to deciding sets to win the match so far this tennis season.
Remember he dropped 4 in a row last year when it took three sets to close it. This is a very bad record to hold of the 2022 season going 8-11.

...
Not easy at all for Medvedev.
He has conceded a couple of break points to Shevchenko, and he was also losing 4-2 (with Shevchenko serving ! ) but in the end he was able to win the third set for 7-5. Nice match, both players have played at high level, for sure Shevchenko has played at a great level today and was able to put the Russian player in trouble in many occasions.
Really disappointing the audience in my opinion. On several occasions in the first set they "booed" the Russian player...
He did have a Fortnite emote to perform for the crowd in Spain at the end after winning the match.
So he showed them with that Russian ballerina curtsy.

Well done rdbase for being the only guy to have faith in Leclerc, too bad he didn't go all the way Sad

About the race, i have to say, for me it ended be a really boring race, another procession, yes we have always that expectation of "anything can happen" or "look now Hamilton its on Sainz DRS zone" "now Alonso its more close to LEclrec", "Verstappen its gonna push in the final", but in the end were all a big WHAT IF?, WHAT IF a SF its deployed?, What if etc...

But no one happen and a boring race with ton of expectation.

I didn't watch it but I definitely agree there was too much hype for this. Supposedly street racing means all kinds of risk taking and speedy behavior but in the end more or less we see Ferrari disappointing and Red Bull conquering, the placement didn't really matter so much.

It could be unpopular to say but hard not to see Smiley
Leclerc got passed in the third lap by Verstappen. You can see it after every turn the Red Bull was much faster than the Ferrari no matter who was at the wheel. Of course DRS was also a determining factor for the advancement at the straight away.

@darxiaomi
Not all of it was so boring at the end. Do you recall what happened to Esteban Ocon while he was pitting on the final lap?

Who said this Abzerbaijan main race was kind of static and nothing really different happened during the race.
There was an absolute mishap that occurred on the last lap of the race which could of ended horribly wrong.
Here is what happened to Esteban Ocon when his team told him he was the only car that had not gone to pit.
The incar camera footage shows you what it looked like from the driver's point of view.

The stake odds for this game are 1.52 for the Knicks and 2.60 for the Heat, Right now Quentin Grimes and Julius Randle are doubtful if they can play for the Knicks and Julius Randle is out for the season, while Tyler Herro, can not play for the Heat, Bam Adebayo is doubtful and Victor Oladipo is now out for this season, for this game I think I can see that the Knicks is the favorite to win but Jimmy Butler is a different monster while pressured, for this game the truth is I really don't know who to choose, that is why I have gone to the best option going with the favorite, the New York Knicks,
Knicks is good and all but I believe that Heat will win again if Jimmy Butler ends up playing as well as he has so far. This is why I believe that we could see anything happen. Overall, Knicks is a better team for sure, I mean when you look at 5 positions, I would give 4 of them to Knicks, aside from Jimmy Butler who has played differently during this playoff period. After all it is going to be a tough one without a doubt.

The early games are a bit different as well, it is not the same thing at all, the regular times for them is a lot better for them. All in all I think the best thing to do for today is to stay away, we can see the games of each series and then we can make a decision based on that, doesn't make sense to take risks and put the first games as bets, just lets see how it will be.
This is what exactly happened today with the New York Knicks.
Julius Randle was sitting out and watching from the sidelines his team get beat by the Heat at home. It was really bad because they were leading by more than 12 in the first half at one point and then down to only 5 point lead by half time.
Then Miami turned on their playoff mode and it all collapsed for the Knicks.
They got smoked in the 3rd quarter and it just continued on from there.
To me Kyle Lowry is different in the post season since he was on the Raptors during their championship season, so he also has the experience with how the referee's call the games in the playoffs.
But it is only game 1 in the series, so it is not over yet and hopefully Randle can return in time before the next games are played this coming week.

Now it is Golden State's turn to see if they can win this and it is looking that way late into their 3rd quarter with a 12 point lead of their own.
Fox is already with 4 fouls so he left the quarter already.
It is looking like last year champions are wanting to retain their title with this performance they are putting on in this game 7.

Think the rest of the series leans in on can julius randle play effectively with his ankle issue and now that Jimmy rolled his ankle.  Can he play as effective.  If both can't I give the advantage to the Knicks.  Jimmy is that team.  Either way it's gonna be a good series.

As far as today's game I got the Champs and the moneyline.  I can't bet against steph even though the odds are stacked against them.
Me either. Stephen Curry already passed a long standing record with his first three pointers during the match.
Playoff Warriors once engaged are nearly impossible to count them out.

So the teams and the drivers efforts all come down to this moment in the Grand Prix city circuit for their race to the season championship.

The odds for each driver hasn't changed by much when I viewed them last night but now it is about 40 minutes until the start of the race happens.

You can view those revised odds here:

1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: April 30, 2023, 12:00:55 AM
Here is my full pick for the UFC Fight Night: Song vs. Simón
MAIN EVENT
Yadong Song VS Ricky Simón
CO-MAIN EVENT
Caio Borralho VS Michał Oleksiejczuk
MAIN CARD
Cody Brundage VS Rodolfo Vieira
Nice pick I think I will go with this pick aswell, and I also like a well-rounded fighter to bet on, but a dedicated wrestler Ricky Simon will be disrupting Song Yadong's momentum and is a pretty much easy bet in my opinion, we all witness a wrestler would just give the striker a headache because we would simple goes in a takedown multiple times and then coming up with a strike I think we are seeing this always happen to strikers and many knows that the weakness of a pure striker is a wrestler, but if a good striker does have some good takedown defense that will be a different kind of story, but if a dedicated wrestler like Simon have something in him and does have a ton of gas on his tank that could never go out he will surely suffocated the air of a striker and can surely manage a win in the later round that will be good,
I will surely look up some of this guy's recent fights and comeback here and will make my pick later,  for now, I would look for certain clue on a safer bets to take,
Yup! Ricky Simon is good at the paper, but I can not be so certain because Song Yadong might already enhance his takedown defense, and if that Takedown that Simon was shooting was all going to be defended by Yadong, Song Yadong will surely give him trouble he can also strike him when doing that takedown, and we all know what counter most strikers will go with on a wrestler a flying knee, So there is still a chance for Song Yadong, but for me right now Ricky Simon is looking dangerous on paper,
I am going the other way for the Main Event.
1. Yadong, Song
2. Borralho, Caio
3. Vieira, Rodolfo
4. Erosa, Julian
5. de Lima, Marcos Rogerio

Putting it in a parlay @9.60. The odds of both fighters in the main event are not that far so I think it can become a close fight that will end in a unanimous decision. How I wish the judges will score this fight correctly.
Song Yadong's takedown defense will be a big key factor to winning this while I think Ricky Simon will force him to put this battle on the mat.
It would be more entertaining if they will end this with just striking ability. Good luck to your picks.
You still have good picks, and as I am saying even though I have bet on Ricky Simon there is still a chance that Song Yadong can win here, and like you have said if Song Yadong has a good takedown defense then Ricky Simon will never stand a chance against him if Song Yadong can timing the takedown defense and strike Simon at the same time he will surely have a chance in winning this, but as I am saying on paper Ricky Simon still got a huge chance on winning here,

And News right now Instead of a Jon Jones VS Stipe Miocic fight, we might see a Sergei Pavlovich fight against Jon Jones, actually many don't want to see Miocic because of his inactivity, and right now Stipe Miocic's last fight was against Francis Ngannou on March 27, 2021, and he is already 40 years old, but many want to see the Russian Ngannou  against Jon Jones they already know that Jones will surely just pulverize Stipe, but right now they want to see the most dangerous man right now fighting Jone Jones,
@danherbias07
Those odds are too high for me so I will be playing it safe and go with my previously mentioned strategy at the first post of this page earlier.
Taking the Will the fight go the distance markets for both fights.

As for my picks for this main event YuginKadoya, I will be taking Borralho to win and the Simon match to not go the distance.

So far we have the prelims over with and the results of those fights listed below:
Prelims
Martin Buday def. Jake Collier via unanimous decision (29-28 x3)
Cody Durden def. Charles Johnson via unanimous decision (30-27 x3)
Irina Alekseeva def. Stephanie Egger via sub (kneebar) (R1, 2:11)
Marcus McGhee def. Journey Newson via sub (RNC) (R2, 2:03)
Jamey-Lyn Horth def. Hailey Cowan via unanimous decision (29-28 x3)

Main Card
Trey Waters def. Josh Quinlan via unanimous decision (30-27 x3)
Waldo Cortes-Acosta VS Marcos Rogério de Lima (in progress)

As owengtam09 has mentioned in the above post, we are within the main card fights for the UFC main event.

In any case I like to use the boosts  Cool

Like the price boost feature and used it for my bet on the UFC Vegas 72 main event tonight.

It does give that little bit extra to make it more profitable than all the other sites when they offer up their odds for the event when I checked while the markets are still available for the current matches.

IW Cats couldn't make a good start to the EMEA Masters finale. Unicorns of Love got a 2-0 lead and I was really worried about IW Cats' future in this matchup. However they have finally managed to recover and they are playing quite effectively on the 4th game of the series as well. BAO has been quite impressive so far. Especially in the 3rd game he did a pretty good job and played a big role in team fights to win.

Right now there is nearly a 10k gold difference and a 14-3 score lead for IW Cats. If there isn't any big surprise they should be carrying the series to the 5th and last game.

Having tuned late into the fourth map, glad to have the update as I am following this closely with the odds being 1.55x going into the final map.
Looking at Wild Cats in this one they look like the strong side so hopefully they can keep this momentum going and win the championship title in the Masters tournament.

edit: Wild Cats just won! After seeing the double kill at 11-8, you just knew it was over as they were getting those shut down! against the Unicorns of love.
Congratulations to those who believed in @CLS63 and his prediction early on in the tournament.
They must of been at good odds if you grabbed them when he posted the table up on here.

After watching the Real Madrid match it shows they have rebounded from when I saw their match last weekend.
Scoring 3 goals in the first half with Benzema having two of the goals is exceptional for any team and great for a squad of this caliber.
Even if Vini Jr. did get a yellow card, they are looking like old Real Madrid from what I remember them from last season.
Waiting for Barcelona to play next and expecting the same outcome from their team.

After checking statistics of the second half, it looks like Benzema scored that fourth goal to get the hat trick.

Watching this sprint race live and on the second lap there is a yellow flag with Tsunoda losing a rear tire and DNF for this sprint too.
I think out of any other team, I have seen Alpha Tauri out of the most runs on this track.
This sprint race is 17 laps so shouldn't last too long as the sun is going down in Azerbaijan for close out this prerace day.

Great to see Perez doing well in the sprint race today.
This only means that Red Bull have seen where their problems lie and fixed them coming up to the final race tomorrow.
Had Leclerc to take pole position and Perez for fastest lap in the race results for the F! forum pool selections.
So will wait until tomorrow to see if any of my other predictions will come to light in Baku.

Another result for my betting slip I haven't made a screenshot of the result but these are my betting tickets,

Invictus Gaming vs OG 1 - 1 - DRAW
OG got me as well, I had a similar parlay and they were the only leg that ruined my bet.

So many one-sided odds for today and there's not much value to take aside from the underdogs winning at least a map.

I was thinking of continue fading the bottom teams but i'll take TL to beat PSG.LGD since they need to go 4-0 today if they want to qualify for the upper bracket.

PSG-LGD were just awful from what I recall of their game play while betting on them because they were the heavy favorites. Didn't they lose four in a row?
If they haven't changed from last season then this should be an easy win for Team Liquid.

Also in League of Legends finals in a few hours from now, IW are the favorites to win @1.38x against UOL.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 28, 2023, 03:05:35 PM
Not good news for Southampton but there is still hope. If Aston Villa can turn things around I believe so can Southampton. Only problem is to beat Newcastle, Forest and then Fulham in a row is the way.

I deposit bitcoins for betting here. I was especially hesitant to bet on the Manchester City vs Arsenal match tomorrow. Actually I am not very experienced in sports so I can't make good decision for betting. That's why I couldn't bet on tomorrow's match. Still I know why I think Manchester City will win tomorrow's match. However, I was hesitant and didn't participate, so it was a good thing. I will prepare for the next matches and hope to get some good information from you.
That title race match ended over 48 hours ago and it was a high scoring one so picking the majority of whatever those who have followed the thread in the past would have been the correct choice for a bet.
Careful of posts like those. That's most likely a spammer. Does not even know what he's talking about. And if you look at the post history it is all similar posts that kind of mean nonsense. Bought account and tagged with nonsense spam on football threads. Says he wants to get good information but clearly is not reading or even betting. Really hate those kind of posters and best to ignore and not give them attention. Fill up space with no contribution  Angry
Actually seeing their Sportsbet.io account usenname the same as their one on the forum is the reason for commenting on their post.
But atleast they got their deposit, hah!

Besides they add to the views so no harm. But will look at their last post so thanks for that slaman29!

Looks like Ferrari got the pole position they needed just now after qualifying had ended:

Also had Leclerc to take pole in the F1 forum pool so great start for the race weekend so far.

You can still place bets on the sprint shootout being the first for the F1 circuit ever at the link below:

Along with the race on Sunday at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix so good luck to all who are betting on their favorite drivers to win!
1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: April 28, 2023, 01:59:45 AM
Now for the next event, I think that Song Yadong likes the fight on the feet, he would just need to go on submission if necessary and he is the kind of fighter that would rather go with the stand-up because he was fairly good at finding openings capitalizing those mistakes of his opponent and taking those opportunities, while Ricky Simon is not really good at stand-up but will shoot a takedown if he wants to he wins against Merab Dvalishvili with a technical guillotine that was back on April 2018, so this will be against a Striker VS a Grappler kind of fight,

No here is the link for the UFC Fight Night 223 Multi-Master Challenge
Maybe choosing some different markets might have a better outcome in your next set of bets if you do choose to do a parlay instead of the separate single bet format instead.
If you do see Ricky Simon taking his time with his opponents then Will the fight go the distance choice of bet would perhaps be the correct option for this main event bout.

Well, if someone in the forum doesn't want to read that detailed explanation and just wants to know about the new details for the Sprint format here are some videos I think will help with that problem, it is now near the Practice day for the F1 and nearing the time until it starts I am getting more excited,

The 2023 F1 Sprint Format Changes Explained!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Imy5l5d4L3c

And some news reports that I see before starting the Practice for the following Azerbaijan Gran Prix, there are a lot of what is happening and I think this is a great watch for people that wants to catch up on the latest changes and news about Round 4 for the F1 Race,

Weekend Warm-Up | 2023 Azerbaijan Grand Prix
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvQPsENTfWQ
Very nice videos to watch from the F1 official youtube channel and a treat to watch since we haven't had any race action for over three whole weeks now and it is time to get into the excitement once more with the race weekend in full swing.
Baku city circuit has the longest straight on the calendar, so I can see Ferrari, Aston Martin and Mercedes making a stand against Red Bull.
And they will have plenty of time to get it right during the sprint race(OG) along with the sprint shootout.

Good luck on your next bet as we have alot of events happening in a wide range of sports for this weekend starting tomorrow. Beginning with F1.

The upsets yesterday were surprising, lost a couple of my free bets as I was hoping Butler and the Heat to have a low-scoring game but they went all out in the last quarter to force OT and win.

I am going the other way on this one.
Good job on taking the Warriors, unfortunately, I had the Kings but it looks like the Warriors have a different plan and they want it to end the series tomorrow in Chase Center.

The Celtics have to wake up later and go for an early lead like they've been doing in their last 3 wins so they can close this out instead of dragging it out to a game 7. I'll be betting on the 1h spread instead of the full game since I've already mentioned before how the Celtics struggle in the second half.

Celtics are a different kind of machine when they are in playoff mode. The Hawks have been keeping up so far with them but I believe closer to the end of the second half they will pull away from them so to close this series out.
Same goes with the Golden State Warriors.
They play at a different level than every other team when they are in the post season hunt for the next championship ring.

Looks like @CLS63 predictions were correct and Istanbul Wild Cats won a convincing match against SK gaming yesterday in their group stages of the EMEA Masters taking it 3-1.
Next up are UOL Sexy Edition vs Team Heretics Academy in about 3.5 hours from now.

Bets on this match can be placed at the Sportsbet.io Esports hub below:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/esports-betting

I'm happy to see that IW Cats have reached the finals in EMEA Masters. I think they have really deserved this so far with their high effort. In this matchup against SK Gaming Prime, they didn't make a good start though and got 1-0 behind. But IW Cats are still a team playing with a high level of dedication so I was believing in them to learn from their mistakes not to repeat them. They really made a huge comeback to win by 3-1 at the end.

Especially the 3rd match was really interesting. Because IW Cats barely missed the chance of destroying the base of their opponent first. But they were smart to put wards near the nexus to teleport there to finish it while their opponent wasn't prepared for it. Destroy went for that with his Fiora and took a very important win for his team there.  Smiley

The name of the finals is UOL Sexy Edition vs IW Cats.

Since you were so certain of Wild Cats winning from the very start of the tournament, will you betting big for them to win the finals on April 29th?
I sure hope they win for the pride of your countries victory in this league of legends EMEA Masters 2023.

Right now games that are Commencing for the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 2: Division II

Alliance vs Old G
Alliance got straight 2 wins on this. That's okay, we've got to see the Berlin major matches later and maybe the sister team of Old G will do better against SMG as their first match and will be followed quickly against XG just after the first match.

It was an utter defeat alliance was a very smooth team winning against Old G, but just like you have said the One Berlin Major was a real banger, and right now both my bets have won I was really late in posting this but here it is I was gone betting with both Shopify Rebellion and Tundra Esports against Invictus Gaming, and here are the results
Congratulations if you've won your bets. Usually, during the first day this is many are avoiding to bet as it's like the day of uncertainty but you just did it and won them.

And talking about Old G, they were in a funny situation since both resolut1on and kitrak are in Berlin majors playing as stand in. The roster of Old G don't have extra reserve players or sub for them to play against PuckChamp for the decider/tie breaker match that shall retain the team on Division 2.

They've been in a default loss because of having incomplete players. They have to go through with the qualifiers again to get back to division 2.
Wow Jakelyson good going on your bets for Dota2 as anything over 3x odds is a massive win for an acca so early on in this competition!
Wishing you more wins for your future bets in this tournament.

Seems a bit clearer now when outlined for those involved in the F1 forum pool participants.
There are also markets now open with 85 new options to choose from before race weekend starts tomorrow in Baku for this city circuit.

Here is one more for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix:

Good choice for staying away from Chelsea match today. They just couldn't score against Brentford and the bees even scored another one in the second half to ice them.
The usual Manchester City match with scoring 4-1 so right on the correct score for that one. But now it is looking like they just might take the title for the EPL since they have easy games to win and Arsenal only have a couple left with only being ahead of them by two points.
The surprising result today out of them all was Nottingham Forest beating Brighton 3-1. I don't think anybody saw that one coming.
