For real Manchester city have a chance to take top spot from Arsenal when they face Arsenal in a crunch clash at the Emirates today. One thing with this Arsenal side is that they come alive when playing at home. They have led the table for most of the season but have slipped up in their last two games, with a defeat at struggling Everton and a draw at home to Brentford. I feel Arsenal will approach this game differently and they will come roaring back after feeling aggrieved over the manner of their 1-1 draw against Brentford.
Guardiola's approach to his team ultimately came close to snatching the top spot from Arsenal again this season. But I can't say for sure because the next two matches will really determine who has the right to lead the standings.

Manchester City will travel to the Emirates Stadium to win 3 points from Arsenal. It's true that it was difficult match for both teams both away and home. If Arsenal can maintain their form then they will secure their place at the top, but if Manchester City do end up winning the match then they will be level on points. It's true that this match is far more interesting to look forward to than the Club Brugge vs Benfica match in the Champions League.
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 15, 2023, 02:58:32 AM
Apart from the potential profits that we might be able to generate, the technology behind it is one of the most interesting. I still find it difficult to use bitcoin as a legal means of payment or currency, but that has never dampened my initial intention of supporting bitcoin and using it among fellow users.

Now, the legality hasn't given me has not given me freedom its real-world use cases, but I never know what I'll get in the future especially when it comes to legality. Then from that, the profit potential is the most attractive to look forward to at this time. Bitcoin is an increasingly popular long-term investment for many users and institutions alike, and it has never been guilty of what its creators expected.

If it is about the current match Liverpool vs Everton, I see no doubt that Liverpool to win the match and get 3 points. They are now leading with 2 goals, they are very dominating in the match (won the ball possession and have a higher shot attempts), and the lineup looks nice. Considering these factors, Liverpool is surely the favorite to win the match. You are not gambling to bet with Liverpool today, it is clear that Liverpool is much stronger than Everton.  Wink
There is no reason not to win today's match against Everton for Liverpool, and fortunately they are currently 2 goals ahead of Everton. The match isn't over yet, but I really think that Liverpool will secure this victory until the end of the match. I hope this is a good start for the revival of M. Salah et al after they failed in many previous matches, and momentum like this will greatly affect the team's performance in the next match.

The result of this game is very important for Liverpool mainly because of their poor form during this season. I had expected that they would win this match, but of course it's never easy to get 3 points after such a non-optimal performance so far.

CMs should explain their thread in what way it is if they have a special type of approach to detect AI. Since this is an incentivized activities, I just think some drama will occur between CPs vs CMs vs incentivized reporters if it uses existing AI detection tools which are generally considered unreliable.
Of course it is, some explanation is expected and that is just to avoid any drama there might be.
As some of the users above have pointed out, the detection tool isn't completely reliable, but I've found that bad posters really can be detected manually. But anyway, CM's idea to prevent AI posts is really good, just need some proper approach before making a decision.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 12, 2023, 11:10:56 AM
Villareal vs Barcelona - it's match that might not be very important for Real Madrid fans, but I'm sure the result will be very important.
Traveling to the Estadio de la Cerámica Barcelona came with the best motivation and quality. There are no injury problems other than Dembele, and that has made their win probability higher than Villarreal.

I really hope for something good by Villareal, they have to try to get maximum points after losing the previous 2 matches. But it must be difficult, that's because Barcelona is really in the best form this season. But nothing is impossible.

Like most other merit source, @JayJuanGee is doing good job and reaching more users for merit. A total of 2379 users have been reached so far with total of 24144 merit sent, and all of that has made him the 6th user who has distributed the most merit.

Having someone like him among the community is special, not only about the amount of merit he shares but much more than that is about his knowledge of bitcoin. I'm happy to support him as bitcoin geek, it deserves to appreciate his knowledge and contribution. But sadly, he only won third place for [Results 2022] Bitcointalk Community Awards
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 10:46:35 AM
Many parties were disappointed with the results of the match between Chelsea and Arsenal because both of them drew in their respective matches against Brentford and West Ham. I think it makes a lot of sense because all the teams hope to stay points competitive in the standings. Meanwhile, Arsenal's unsatisfactory results in the last 2 matches will likely be put to good use by their competitors even though all the other top 4 teams failed to take advantage of them in the previous matches.

Now I can expect Manchester City to take advantage of Arsenal's draw to reduce the difference in points between the two at Aston Villa today. Manchester City lost to Tottenham in the previous match, while today they will be very motivated to make the most of this home match to win 3 points. Meanwhile, Tottenham surprisingly lost 4-1 to Leicester after previously Antonio Conte's troops managed to thwart Manchester City's mission to reduce the gap with Arsenal.
Disappointment was clearly felt by their respective supporters, Chelsea, who had spent large amounts of money to bring in new players, had not been able to give their best performance. Chelsea failed to get full points even though they had fielded their best squad, the draw they got at West Ham headquarters made Chelsea only able to win 3 consecutive draws.

Arsenal have yet to find their best form in the Premier League after last being beaten by Manchester City in the FA CUP. After losing to Everton last week, Arsenal were again held to a draw by Brentford at the Emirates Stadium. Next week Arsenal will face a tough challenge from its toughest rival this season. If Arsenal get a negative result when hosting Manchester City at the Emirates stadium, the distance between the two is getting closer and this will be a big threat for Arsenal in winning the EPL trophy this season.
It is true that Arsenal are not at their best ahead of the match against Manchester City in the middle of this month. But before that match, Manchester City still have one match left today against Aston Villa. Of course it would be great if Manchester City won this match, and that would make the match against Arsenal tougher.

I expect Manchester City to win today so that the two points are close again. Not because I don't support Arsenal's efforts to win titles, but because the competition is getting tougher for both of them. It will be very interesting to look forward to Manchester City's match today, and they should have reacted better after Arsenal's draw against Brentford.

I am also very disappointed at the outcome of the match, I was expecting Arsenal to win the the match, but rather, they played 1.1 against both teams.
But anyways, it is football, it's hard to predict most times, and some part of me is still happy though, atleast, for the fact that Arsenal was not defeated like they were in their last game against Everton.

And yes, I agree that city will try to use this opportunity to move closer to Arsenal in points, but I still believe that Arsenal will make a great come back in their next game, fingers crossed 🤞 for them.

So somehow if you get paid by any company to post but you ignore their avatar and signature completely, this step makes absolutely no sense to do so unless you are not interested in any campaign.
It seems OP is not interested in any campaign. It's good. I took a personal note about him, just in case I need to restrict myself inviting to join any of my campaign in the future if he turns out to be a good forum member.
Lol, I think you've been friendly to him about this.  Cheesy

So somehow if you get paid by any company to post but you ignore their avatar and signature completely, this step makes absolutely no sense to do so unless you are not interested in any campaign.
Company will pay him for promoting through his signature and avatar among other users, not for promoting to himself. So, I don't see it can be a problem. Forum allows me to ignore the signature and avatar. I can be irritated by signature and avatar, I can ignore them but when I'm wearing my signature and avatar, it will be shown among other users. Make sense I think.
Avatar and signature also basically still show among other users (if they don't ignore them) even if you have adjusted those setting. But I'm not sure whether or not that's what the project hiring you for is expecting, while I'm not sure it's good choice when you're annoyed with dozens of different user signature sets.
1550  Other / Meta / Re: It is possible to ignore signatur code & Avatar? on: February 11, 2023, 08:02:28 AM
It's fine to do so, but indirectly it will only prevent you from seeing all the avatar and signature of any user on the forum unless you go to their profile. Not only do you ignore one and two of those user avatar and signature, but all users no longer display avatar and signature.

So somehow if you get paid by any company to post but you ignore their avatar and signature completely, this step makes absolutely no sense to do so unless you are not interested in any campaign.
1551  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: February 11, 2023, 07:49:58 AM
There is nothing unusual for the price to move in both directions where at one point it can go high and at another time it can go lower. This statement has been said thousands of times so it has become a general question for some speculators and predictors. Price could bounce as high as touching ATH, and could also drop lower and lose 60% to 70% of the price.

Regarding the current situation, I don't think there's anything bad yet to influence the price to drop to the $19K level anytime soon. I'm tend to believe $21K is good support and will hold, but if FUD shakes that much then it's very likely that $20K will break.
1552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People will choose bitcoins more if the number of cryptocurrency option is less. on: February 11, 2023, 07:32:06 AM
Do you agree that more people will choose to invest in bitcoins if there were not so many cryptocurrency choices although not all are good?
OP, the growth of the cryptocurrency industry is inevitable and you cannot forbid developers from having their own projects and fiercely competing in the market. I don't care how many altcoin are traded in the market, the number is growing but bitcoin is still the first.

After all altcoin are altcoins, they are another alternative that traders or investors can take advantage of if they don't like bitcoin or whatever the reason is. So it shouldn't be strange to have thousand of altcoin listed on exchanges and it will continue to grow over time. More choice is basically the reason why the industry continues to thrive, while many of those altcoin projects end up failing and sinking. My stance on this situation, ignore more altcoin and focus on bitcoin.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What most gamblers do. on: February 11, 2023, 07:16:34 AM
I want to ask a question. And I need serious answer from this forum, and my question is WHY DOES A GAMBLER DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS.
In my country (Nigeria) there are many gamblers who don't have savings and it isn't help matters at all. Most of these gamblers can't afford for there families but they can afford money they will use to gamble. So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack. Like they said, we save money so money can save us tomorrow. But these gamblers doesn't know that.
I don't know how many gamblers you know in your country, I guess it's no more than some gambler friends you know. I don't expect you to generalize all gamblers without any savings, that must not be true because not all gamblers are financially bad.

I can say that some of the gambler friends I know are not financially struggling, but some are gamblers whose finances are not good. I just can't draw the average conclusion, but some gamblers fall into the financially distressed category. So it cannot be generalized that all gamblers have problems, especially financial ones. Some have savings, live in luxury, own houses, cars and more, while others only gamble and are unable to change their financial condition.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 11, 2023, 07:06:44 AM
I don't know any specific casino owners so far, and I tend not to be too curious about what they do for their business, but it is very possible to find them gambling just for fun or for marketing purposes.

To be honest, I don't think it's important to think about it because basically the owner of tobacco company is also very likely non-smoker. Vice versa in the gambling industry, casino owners do not gamble for themselves but they ask some of their staff to gamble where the budget used is from the owner. This is marketing related, so the case may be very different.
1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 11, 2023, 06:56:57 AM
Lol. It is rather normal than unfortunate. They didn't perform well and as such no one else should be there except them. Both Sevilla and Valencia have succeeded in winning just 5 matches out of 20. The worst of all is Valencia that has recorded 0 wins in the last 5 matches.
If anyone should leave the relegation zone, it will be Sevilla, as for Valencia, the hope of climbing up the stand keep diminishing day by day.
Sevilla and Valencia are just as bad at the moment, they are not much different in terms of performance and number of points they have collected. Sevilla tends to be more likely not to be in the relegation zone because of the good quality of their players, but just because the team's form is dropping it must be difficult to win a lot.

I'm sure Sevilla actually capable to avoid relegation this season, maybe Valencia too, but in the end their destiny is in their own hands and they have to do their best for the rest of the season.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 10, 2023, 06:28:01 PM
against Elche, of course, it is 3 points for Madrid. Elche which seems impossible to rise and get out of the relegation zone. will be an easy opponent for Madrid.
but it's true, Madrid must pay attention to the consistency of their game if they want to catch up on points with Barcelona, which is getting further and further away. because it would be bad if they still played inconsistently. because Barcelona continues to collect points to get further away from Madrid.
3 points are really expected in Real Madrid's next game against Elche, and it's true that Real Madrid must appear consistent if you don't want to be further behind by Barcelona. I'm not too worried about this match because Madrid are the favorites there, but we shouldn't underestimate Elche for any reason due to the fact that even a relegation zone team can still win if all the players play well and take chances to score goals.

Barcelona has a stronger opponent, yes it is Villareal. If Barcelona don't get maximum points then of course that would be great fun and we really have to take advantage of that.
1557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as wealth. on: February 10, 2023, 06:21:34 PM
The concept of cryptocurrency trading is simple. In trading, you buy cryptocurrency at a low price and sell it at a higher price. However, although this concept is simple, achieving consistency in trading can be very difficult. There are many factors that affect the price of a cryptocurrency, and it is important for traders to understand the market and make good analyses before making trading decisions.
In addition, emotional control is also very important in cryptocurrency trading. Many traders are tempted to make uncontrolled trading decisions based on their emotions, such as greed or fear. This can result in major losses and it is important for traders to be able to control their emotions and remain focused on their pre-determined trading strategy. Therefore, although cryptocurrency trading can be a source of wealth, it is important for traders to understand the market and make good analyses, as well as control their emotions to ensure consistency in trading.
Trading is simple, but not as simple as one might think. I am very clear about this assumption because basically anyone can buy anything and at any price, it is free for everyone. But analysis can help traders buy at prices that tend to be more profitable where low prices are the main target for starting entry. However, analysis is not as easy as we speak, it is much more difficult for beginners or still difficult for anyone who does not want to learn even if they have been involved in this space for many years.

No matter how simple trading is, it is not as good as long-term investing. Bitcoin is one of the most profitable assets in the long term, and anyone can do it.

I'm out here to learn and improve, to admit my mistakes where I make them, and to take turns taking correction. The forum is wide, and I am working towards the areas in which I really want to improve. eet's in.
You will in turn learn more when you are genuinely interested in the forum. There are many users who hope that their participation in forum brings them income, but so far they are no better off than you. I mean, your engaging in lots of constructive discussions can give you the opportunity to learn a lot more than focusing on bounty or income.

After all, there are plenty of users of your local board worthy enough to be reasons why you should grow, some of them are great contributors and people, so learn a lot from their experience. Keep it up.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 10, 2023, 05:46:25 PM
Milan's latest form is worrying for them. They need to win a game to get back on track but I don't know if that's Torino game today. They also have CL game against Tottenham 4 days later so this game is trickier. Torino beat them in cup and in the last league game. We can clearly say that Torino is better side now. They beat Udinese five days ago but Milan kept losing their games. I believe this game is open to all three outcomes, I wouldn't say Milan is the favorite.
It's hard to say Milan are the favorites even though they are playing at home today. The main thing for me to consider is that performance has been on the decline lately, and I doubt they are any bigger than before.

Milan has a chance to end this negative trend and get back to winning ways ahead of their Champions League round of 16 tie against Tottenham. Milan needed a win so that every player would have good motivation against Tottenham, but unfortunately the performance of the players was not as expected. I'm afraid they will also lose to Torino, but let's look forward to it.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs of compulsive gambling on: February 10, 2023, 05:18:28 PM
A desperate gambler will do stupid things without neglecting the risk and huge losses.
I'm sure I was not in that category and I hope I won't be there as well. Chasing what we lost in the past is somewhat impossible in gambling, so instead of thinking of it, we'd rather enjoy ourselves. In fact, gambling is designed to make us entertain, and winning from this is absolute luck.
That is why we don't need to be compulsive in gambling and act with high emotions or else, we just be disappointed.
Being compulsive is completely undesirable for the average gambler, but it is the worst consequence of gambling when the gambler is unable to control his gambling.

Being a responsible gambler is something that is expected, even so, by any casino for its customers. But the problem is, not all gamblers are able to control themselves and their desire for gambling. Some problem gamblers become compulsive, which will get worse the longer term the inability to control themselves and their gambling.
