1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [MAN-DOWN] was: LIVE audio stream from btcLONDON on: July 02, 2013, 01:20:23 PM

The missed opportunity to live stream this event.

I thought it's a Crazy Fin type invitation-only event. You know, to make it seem exclusive and to reinforce the cargo cult behaviour among coiners. Of course they wont stream it.
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [MAN-DOWN] was: LIVE audio stream from btcLONDON on: July 02, 2013, 01:04:21 PM
This man deserves respect for making an effort for the community to compensate for a badly dropped ball by the organisers.  We're trying to promote Bitcoin are we not?

Can you elaborate on this ball dropping thing for those of us who don't kep F5ing any old conference?
1543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The new good HYIP on: July 02, 2013, 12:56:18 PM
In the context of the bitcointalk forums, HYIP = ponzi. Always.

Real investment opportunities don't go around advertising themselves on an internet forum for all the poors. Real investment opportunities know money and talk with money, exclusively.

I have no doubt that this one is.
But isn't it specified in the website?

Real HY investment opportunities don't have websites. In fact real HY investment opportunities prefer not to be known at all by you, me, my poor dead grandmother and/or the taxman.
1544  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 12:51:48 PM
You could've been sold a slice of old cheese for all you know!

I've received reports of armed attacks on shipments. There's not enough cheese to go around, and the underclasses are starting to get desperate.

If the underclass has not enough cheese, they should just eat cake instead.

Mmm. I hope you're not underestimating the problem. Intelligence suggests they're behind the problems in Paris.

with the right rules and with moderators that have the time to sort it out this forum could be 10x beter than it is now

Again, what you're suggesting is diametrically opposed to the mindset of the majority of forum users. You'll have to build your own treehouse with a "no libertarians/anarchists allowed" sign.
1545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The new good HYIP on: July 02, 2013, 12:49:48 PM
Seems like a ponzi, not HYIP.

+ poorly translated.

HYIP = ponzi. Always.

No. Usually it's not.
Giving high returns does not mean it is a scam ...

altcoins are were all the gpus are going to be ( i have 83 7950s mining altcoins and i make over 3x what i would mining bitcoin  Smiley )

Good for you, but don't come crying when the altcoin bubble deflates and you are stuck with a ton of burned out worthless hardware.

They're desperate; they can smell their deaths, and the sound they'll make rattling their cages will serve as a warning to the rest.
1548  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 12:29:07 PM
if you did away with the altcoin section the forum would lose 90% of the people gpu mining

They're poors. A bunch of pretentious young men playing at running the world. But the world left them behind long ago.
1549  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 12:22:16 PM
I have started a poll in the altcoin section wether we start to have sub sections

This is BitcoinTalk. The only thing the altcoin section needs is a fiery death.

it can't hurt IMO. If you don't want to see the trash section, put it on ignore.

It spills over into the schools and churches, the bodies pile up in the streets. In the end you'll beg me to save you.

This is BitcoinTalk. The only thing the altcoin section needs is a fiery death. It binds way to much resources that would be better spent getting scammed elsewhere.

Change your Blockchain ALIAS now.

Nah, I'm good.

If not he/she will continue doing that forever  Roll Eyes

No, actually they only seem to do that at the beginning of each month so far. Maybe they need to pay rent or something.
1552  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 12:12:24 PM
Oh, btw I DO concur about the altcoins forum needing to be euthanized. The scammers there are uncreative and boring and comedy value is subpar.

Besides that one guy who core breached about his 10 second block time coin. That one was pretty lulzy.
1553  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 11:57:56 AM
I never realized how close to a religion it is

There's been a few threads in "Bitcoin Discussion" that are downright scary. Pure cult-speak.
1554  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 11:52:28 AM
so you like all the scamming and spam ? I am guessing you don't look in the alt coin section ?

Of course I like it. It's my sole reason for being here. You couldn't get this much entertainment if you paid for it.

Watching hare-brained schemes go up in flames. Seeing insurances financing themselves by buying exactly the risky investment they're insuring against. Currency exchanges run by 17 years olds getting hacked by Chinese millionaire relic hunter über hackers. Victims vocally defending their very scammers to the last breath. Scammers attacking scammers attacking scammers in the trust system. Two men "companies" handing out cargo cult titles. "Businesses" lying and insulting their "customers". Witnessing how a simple transaction protocoll gets transformed into religion.

It's a trainwreck full of burning, dying people who yell at you to stop touching them, when you try to pull them out. It's a sinking ship where people will not board the lifeboats because they "are gonna make it if we just keep holding on and don't stop believing". It's the perfect delusion and the perfect comedy.
1555  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 11:37:42 AM
Clearly you're new here.

You should probably go ahead and get your own forum full of rules and laws and stuff.
1556  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ANN] Scammer Hunter Released. No More Scam in this forum. on: July 02, 2013, 11:06:54 AM
So tell exactly what did you learn?

It is secret because, scammers also watching this thread.

If you're gonna do this whole sockpuppet thing, it would be more useful to remember which sockpuppet to use for which purpose. This one for instance was used at the wrong place at the wrong time.

You're not very good at this. Coincidentally I am now offering my introductory course "Persona(l) management - a guide to keeping your alts... alt" at a low low price of only 19.99 BTC. Take advantage of this incredible offer in the month of July 2013.
1557  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions on improving the forum on: July 02, 2013, 11:03:06 AM
we really could do with a thumbs up/down button on each post the more thumbs down you get the less frequently you can post

have thumbs up as +1 and thumbs down as -2 the higher your score the more you can post the lower your score the less you can post

Sure. BTW, and totally unrelated, I am offering a post rating manipulation service.
1558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Uses for Bitcoins on: July 02, 2013, 10:39:12 AM
Well there's drugs and child porn, if you're into that sorta thing.
1559  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Domain Auction BitcoinSniper.com and .net BUY with Bitcoin on: July 02, 2013, 10:10:28 AM

Nah, I'm good.

Are you still getting messages? lol
If blockchain logs ip address, send ip to theymos, he will find out that guy.

Already traced the guy to Bristol. He's using a fucking iPad. I mean, really? How retarded is that?
