Dead coin ...??
Wallets working - still on exchange so not dead but dev. is not moving it along. At some point he will or someone may make it a takeover. Hopefully the dev. returns to this project. I think he is honest and cares but is too busy in personal life currently.

Suggestion!
All small blocks stake a max of 10-15% per month.
Big block stake 30-40% per month.
TEK Donation: Bjhnx5tLrsqt7B7M1iuC3hG26Xyhkr4gmw
That would add to the rich-get-richer argument. As a large holder, I wouldn't mind, but I got to where I am due to fair staking percentages across the board. It would seem that it is not the size of the stake, but rather folks who have a shit ton of small holdings and can't or won't use coin control to combine them. I am not a coder, so it is a bit hard to make suggestions that are realistic, but I would like to see something along the lines of: Microstakes don't stake at all, small holders who are using coin control stake at the normal amount based on difficulty. Where do you draw the line between micro and small holders? We want to encourage folks to invest in the coin, but also encourage folks to combine. Is there a way to make the wallet automatically combine multiple small addresses? Again not being a programmer, I have no idea is this is feasible or just crazy talk. DMD uses an auto-combine on small input blocks so it is already out there. DMD Developer - "... DMD where split stake normal stake or group stake (merge pile together) is automatic adjusted by wallet code and create a zero micromanagement needed POS experience"

Just something I wanted to ask... Posting on this thread is considered promotion? I understand it is somewhat a method of promoting it as the thread goes up to the top in forum. Just asking.
Thanks again for this wonderful coin, is one of the few I have that stakes decently (without even being in superfly) and does not lose value.
Great question - just saying "Go Fly" is not considered promotion. Making suggestions on how to improve and promote Fly or helping answer questions from others in the thread qualifies. Always make us aware of other thinngs off thread that you do to promote Fly by posting a link or other info. One of our members frequents chat boxes at exchanges to help Fly - another posted made a post on CryptoCoinTalk. Some prefer social media or other crypto site posts. Thanks for joining in here at FLY.

It all depends upon your cost of electricity. I pay 10 cents USD per KWH. Mining DASH uses 900 watts and I get .5 DASH a day from a 4 GPU AMD 290X miner. I actually fall behind a few cents daily, but the miner does heat the living room and saves on the gas bill. If you are in California, and paying 25 cents a KWH, you are paying 250 dollars a month for $80 in coins. If you are stealing the electricity from your employer or school............ shame on you
Fortunately, Nevada has special rate available of 6 cents USD/KWH rates but, there is 5 hours a day over 3 mo. summer where rates are 10x that. Miners get turned off for that time so I will look at Dash.

I have a question: Why the balance on my main wallet is decreasing? A couple of days before, I had 201.xxx FLY on my main wallet, and today I have 200.xxxx. How is that possible? (I'm staking to my Cryptopia's address, but that should not affect my balance, right?)
Thanks in advance.
Great question! The way I see it, and Vegas correct me if I am wrong, current stake fee is 10% of stake. (going to 0 in the future) But, right now you send 100% of stake and get charged 10% - yes balance would go down by 10% of stake So now there is 10% charge for staking? See Ann "Staking Fees" - it is 50% POS but 10% of 50% (or 5%) goes to SuperFly for Rewards. Effective rate of POS is 45% after SuperFly fee, which is still a good POS Plus distribution from SuperFly - if you qualify on a given week. Look at any transaction: Stake comes in and 10% goes to superfly for rewards. Of course, large holders pay in to superfly but do not get rewards.

After wallet upgrade don't forget to check your Saving settings. It was mentioned many times before, but I forgot on both of the last upgrades. Both of the last wallet upgrades my Saving settings disappeared, the result was my wallet was not staking. After you get your new wallet up and stable, backup your wallet, and check your savings settings. In the Menu select: Tools => Savings You should see Savings Activated Then there is something else going on.... I am staking, but i do not stake to savings..... (I did for a while, but I deactivated it, and staking was not affected.) (Remember min stake time is 7 days, so you won't see stakes immediately if you have new coins) Another point, originally, there was an advantage to staking to savings. Now staking to Main is better because stake will combine with block vs. having tiny stakes in savings which will never stake as are too small.

Still Stuck at 850241 - Tried synching from scratch twice. and tried using the bootstrap... and everything I can think of. Any help appreciated. Thanks for all the suggestions. The only thing I did not try was uninstalling. Meta thanks for suggesting that. Still 180,000 blocks to synch but I see Light...

I don't mind Midnight Miner sharing his project or Meta sharing his. I don't think it distracts from the thread and give all of us a chance to support those who support FLY.
Groggin great to see all of your trading keeping FLY moving in the right direction.
