I assume it is difficult to know which team to qualify to the next round. PSG has strong strikers, they potentially make Real Madrid only focus on defending. If it happens, PSG will be easy to create many goal attempts. While Real Madrid players are under pressure and hard to create the chances to score. If Real Madrid wants to win the match, they must win the ball possession and control the match. Benzema, Vinicius, or Asensio also must play effectively and show their accuracy in shooting.
It is naive to assume that Real will play defensively in this pair and will give PSG a lot of chances to score. Real Madrid have one of the strongest middle lines and PSG will not be able to dominate in order for their strikers to feel at ease. Even if Neymar fully recovers to this confrontation, I think that Real will at least have no worse chances than PSG. I expect the match would be full of goals .. whether a huge blow for psg or real madrid to lose like 3-0 or so. the second scenario is that both teams scored a lot each like 3-2 or so. it's a sure thing for me to choose over 3.5 goals! both will play offensively and offer us a really entertaining match. |

Barcelona won their home match vs Elche 3-2 but they still didn't seem to have a very satisfying performance. They still have big issues with their defense. And I hope that Xavi continues to work on it especially. If they don't make their defense much better than now, they would have big problems in the rest of the matches of the season. I really would like to see Barcelona climbing to top places again.
Not really convincing result indeed .. conceded 2 goals in two minutes and a winning goal at 85' is not typical the real barcelona , but at least yeah they win it. If this continues and many players are infected by Covid, the matches should be postponed. It is too risky for all players if the matches continue during a huge Covid spread. I am not sure all clubs agree to allow their players to play if the situation gets worse. It is only about the time when the competition will be stopped temporarily if there is no positive progress on the virus spread. I guess there will be an announcement about the temporary suspension of all football competitions. I thought the economy was already in recession, so I'm not surprised. I've seen 2020 predicted as a year of the crash prior to Covid, and it's not like Covid made things better for the economy (see here, and here, for example). So, honestly, I'm surprised the economy didn't explode by now. And I don't think it's possible to completely avoid an economic crisis, I think it's only possible to delay it by a couple of years (which, clearly, has already happened). Okay, maybe not crises, but at least recessions are bound to happen quite regularly. But given the heavy impact of the pandemic, I think a crisis is only natural. If someone told me a couple of years ago that tomorrow's match between Sevilla and Atlético best defense will be in Seville I would be surprised. Atlético conceded 18 goals while Seville conceded only 11 goals. I think the question is how many tomorrow Atlético will concede 1 or 2  Lol, you got that right!  Seriously now, they have the best defenses in LaLiga but tomorrow I see them both to score at least one goal each. Sevilla looking good and wants the win to be close to the top, while Atletico wants the same but doesn't look so good. So both to score and probably Sevilla's win. 
Today Celta Vigo will have the chance to get the 3 points in front of their fans but I'm not so sure due to their recent form. Still, bookmakers give Celta as a favorite which is a bit strange. I will stick to what I see and I will support Espanyol to take at least the draw. Btw, Espanyol has not resulted in a draw in their last 5 matches... I regret to say that Chelsea are continuing to struggle in the Premier League. This was another loss of points for them against Everton this time. They are even incapable of maintaining their advantage for long. They conceded the equalizer in only four minutes and couldn't react to it again until the end. I guess that Everton weren't expecting to even draw with them.
Such a shame ... start the season with great results but now it seems everything went 160 degree! they are on the downtrend right after unbeaten run lol , this got me thinking that if tuchel failed to bring chelsea to get qualified for the next CL , he will get sacked. |

Especially the Barcelona - Napoli draw makes me excited more. There is around a two-month time period until the first games to start. This is a long enough time period for Barcelona to pull themselves together I suppose. Xavi needs to work really hard with the players and get them ready for the Europa League games also. But if they only focus on La Liga, then Napoli would do the same Benfica did to Barcelona in the group stage. Real Madrid were the favourite against Atletico Madrid by far thanks to their huge effort on the previous weeks. And they didn't make me surprised as they became victorious with a 2-0 score. Benzema is still maintaining his fascinating performance and scored another goal in this game too. Now he has 13 goals in 16 La Liga games. And I'm looking forward to watching him in the coming games also.
Benzema is the real leader of the team and a lot is tied to him, now paired with Vinícius they have an excellent combination and together they show excellent performance. If this efficiency persists, the team will get the championship this year without any problems. Chelsea should be focusing on not losing their defenders one by one. Because there have been some speculations recently like Christensen and Rüdiger might leave the team this summer. They both have a contract running until June 30, 2022. This means that the other teams would be able to sign them without any transfer fee. They both are very important defenders for Chelsea and they should make a big effort to keep them both in their squad. Otherwise, they will need to be in search of really solid defenders to be able to fill their place in the best way.

There was an incredible match today which was played between E. Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen. To be honest, the result really surprised me. Actually, both of these teams were performing really good on the last weeks. But I never expected a score like this at the end. Even though Leverkusen got 2-0 ahead, Frankfurt made just an unbelievable comeback and destroyed Leverkusen by 5-2. What an effort! It was really incredible.
Insane game! the odds must be high af when frankfurt left behind 0-2 and you do put a bet on them for -4.5 or just to make a comeback, i believe it should have @100 at least! i missed this one tho as never crossed in my wild mind to see this. they failed to put on the pressure at dortmund as now they had 4 points behind. |

PSG is fully of players who have won the title already. Apart from that they also have been in the final against Bayern Munich, which with a little bit of luck can end in their favor. It is not like they are without experience, but what I do think is that they might lack focus because they don't have to keep up their highest level for a whole season as Ligue 1 is too weak. Whereas other teams are focussing all year long and are ready anytime for the big challenges.
Right now we have some good talk about this year champion and two teams are mostly in talk because of their desire first one is PSG and second one is Manchester City but sadly again this year we are checking these both teams have no chance to win title because their players are not good enough for this title like we have in Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Ajax. My feeling about these teams is most chances they will not reach into last four but still many things to happen in next few months when we will be back in knock out stage in February with some better teams and having good competition for winning this year's title. Huge money spent created a dream team like PSG and manchester city .. it feels like a video game in real world where you can put the best player on the game into your team , in this case the both teams mathematically will always considered as a favorite every season , but then failed. huge advantages for bookies though. i just cant see any financial fair play more lol they are dead with money in their pockets. |
