15461  Other / Meta / Re: Flagging old bumped threads. on: February 25, 2016, 09:09:46 PM
People keep bumping that motherfucking "cupcakes for bitcoin" thread and everyone says the same fucking thing and the guy who started the thread abandoned it without locking it.  Mods can't or won't do anything.
15462  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Millennial Quits ISIS After Finding Jihad To Be ‘Really Hard’ on: February 25, 2016, 08:52:07 PM
But she has great points.  Why fight to the death when all your needs are met?  And especially for some deodorant-deprived religious fanatics.
15463  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Manyproofs scammed me - HOW TO GET MY ACCOUNT BACK on: February 25, 2016, 08:47:07 PM
If someone  could write a program that translates English to Manyproofs, my guess is there'd be some money in it.
15464  Economy / Lending / Re: manyproofs loanding service (I am pro lender to this Place) on: February 25, 2016, 07:51:36 PM
You have got to be shitting me.  I thought this knucklescunt was banned or died or was on death row for aggravated murder of the English language.  Reading any more of this scunting garbage is going to give me retinal cancer.
15465  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll Should Mexxer-2 Lutpin Be Removed From The Default Trust ? on: February 25, 2016, 05:46:14 PM
I'll say to OP why not use your main account instead of hiding behind that Newbie account and create this kind of thread. Are you one of those negged by mexxer or luptin?

Read the other thread, they fear DT retaliation. Besides dont attack someone for using their right to protect their privacy, it makes you look like an arsehole. If you disagree with OP attack their points, their person is of less importance.
I don't think it makes him look like an asshole at all, and I agree with him to an extent.  I'd also like to know who's talking, but if the argument is sound it's not all that important to the discussion.

As far as fearing retaliatory feedback from someone on DT, that would be unfair and might be a damn good reason to reevaluate the feedback-giver's position on the DT list.  It is, after all, just an opinion that's being expressed here.
15466  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll Should Mexxer-2 Lutpin Be Removed From The Default Trust ? on: February 25, 2016, 04:40:30 PM
I'll be honest about my vote here.  I said keep Mexxer-2, drop Lutpin.  I think Mexxer-2 is sincere and does help the community, even if he hasn't done a lot of actual deals that put money at risk.  I say drop Lutpin because I've seen him be way too aggressive with some of his feedback since he got on DT.

I still think that trust should be acquired by actually doing deals.  Anyone can come on this forum and start scam-busting and spam-busting.  All that shit is low hanging fruit and you can spot scammers and spammers from a galaxy away.  And someone might do exactly that to gain access to DT in order to scam.  And yes, someone might also escalate bitcoin deals for the same reason, but I think it's easier (and much less risky) to do the former.

If it were my decision--which it definitely is not--I'd wait on both of them for a while.
15467  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan on: February 25, 2016, 06:36:02 AM
To be clear, I'm not writing this loan off by any means.  Hopefully this will get squared away, but this was promised to be repaid by Wednesday at the latest, and that was after an extension that I didn't have much choice about granting.

As an aside, I guess in posting those PMs I doxxed 50% of my name.  Lol
15468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there dark markets with bounty hunters/ vigilante justice? on: February 25, 2016, 06:15:04 AM
I've seen hitman services in the deep web. Yes they claim they're professionals but on the side note, these may be just scammers who wants your BTCBTCBTC.

I doubt there are vigilantes lurking on the deep web. They don't need to. I heard bounty hunting is 'legal' in the US.
Bounty hunters yes but they bring people on the run back to the cops or court.  Vigilante, to me, means extra-judicial justice.  Street justice.   That's a bit different.
15469  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan on: February 25, 2016, 05:50:41 AM
No repayment yet.  It's officially Thursday so I do consider this loan in default.

15471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Vote] Decred. Genius Innovation or Utter Shitcoin? on: February 25, 2016, 05:17:34 AM
It's a shitcoin just like any other shitcoin and I can say that with absolute certainty even though I know nothing about it.  People are barely using bitcoin--there are hardcore users, yes, but the average Joe on the street?  Absolutely not.  And no one on the street would likely know about LTC or Dash or Doge, much less Decred.  It's laughable.

Genius innovation?  It's like designing a better turd.
15472  Economy / Lending / Re: 1.5BTC loan needed collateral value 1.72btc on: February 25, 2016, 04:46:34 AM
Imo 2% for a 1.5 btc loan is way too little.  And it's probably why you haven't gotten people beating down your door to give you the loan.
15473  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "bizerinm" scammed me! Took my 0.10 BTC for absolutely nothing! on: February 25, 2016, 04:31:47 AM
I know I made a mistake because I was new here and now I have to pay the price for that. Sad I just over-trusted him...
If you trust any newbie on this forum, that's over trusting him.  If you trust anyone with red trust, that's over-trusting him.  So yeah, you fucked up and hopefully you won't make the same mistake again.  Use escrow and definitely don't send bitcoin first unless you know the person.

Edit: I see he's not a noob but he's got red trust.
15474  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: February 25, 2016, 04:26:13 AM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?
Lol I don't believe a word you say about your bitcoin holdings, no offense.  And what's up with people not returning what they borrow?  Hello, are you new to the world?  It's greed and dishonesty.  I assume you're probably not new to this forum either.
15475  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Time to be honest on: February 25, 2016, 04:14:03 AM
Ponzi schemes owners are supposed to be smart, and yet I ended up getting one to send me 2 bitcoins for basically 5 minutes work. Thanks bitcoins.work.

That's all from me. Bye and have a nice life

Can you explain us how you managed to get 2 btc from ponzi owner?

I'm more blown away that he has an activity of 70 and a post count of over 1000.  And you see the quality of his posts--that's like a fucking diarrhea shitstorm!

OP, you're full of the aforementioned diarrhea and hopefully you'll find your way out of this forum where you are definitely not wanted.
15476  Economy / Reputation / Re: Default Trust List is a Joke.Theymos Save This Forum. on: February 25, 2016, 04:00:33 AM
I am fairly certain that I know who the OP is and I don't think it is productive to make ad hominem attacks against the OP, as I would argue that he is probably one of the most trusted people around.

I would say that I agree that Mexxer-2 and Lutpin are strange choices for being in the Default Trust network. I would also say there is a high chance they are the same person.

I somewhat get the feeling that some people are trying to make a name for themselves as being a scam buster. They are doing this by stretching the definition of a scammer and leaving negative trust for people who probably do not have the drive nor motivation to defend their name/reputation, even though what they are accused of doing, even if true, is really not scamming.

I would note that a good number of the "Mexxer-2 and Lutpin" threads have resulted in no additional negative ratings being added to the accounts of those complaining, and in a decent number of instances the ratings have been removed. On the other hand, it was fairly rare that a rating that I left was inappropriate, and as a result very few ratings needed to be removed that I left and many of the "QS" threads resulted in additional people looking at the evidence and leaving additional ratings on those complaining.
As much as I think QS should probably opt out of any discussion about default trust (and escrow), I agree with him here.  I see Mexxer-2 being very active in the forum and doing a lot of good, but I haven't seen a trade history and his track record is not that long.  Lutpin I definitely see as an odd choice and some of the feedback I've seen from him is like Vod on steroids.  Frankly given their limited track record and all of these other questions, you really need to reevaluate what you think "default trust" is.  Because I don't necessarily trust either one of them, and definitely much less so than other members like BAC, Blazed, etc. who've proven more or less that they can be trusted.  But that's just my opinion on the matter and it's worth exactly what you paid for it.
15477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there dark markets with bounty hunters/ vigilante justice? on: February 25, 2016, 03:51:16 AM
Are there currently efforts to hunt down (for example) Big Vern, and the guy (Danny?) from Neo and Bee?
Just asking...

What is the "proper" Libertarian view on dark markets that offer bounty hunters/ vigilante justice?
You would need a way to be certain the person is guilty, before subjecting them to a "free market" justice system.

Any thoughts on how those would work in a free society? and/or do they actually exist now?

If you were certain the person was guilty then that should be good enough for typical through-the-court-system justice, wouldn't you think?  Siccing a hired hitman on a scammer doesn't depend on justice, it depends on how much money you have.

And yes they're available, but I would have no idea who to contact specifically.  And I'm not sure if there's any effort to track down the Cryptsy scammers.  There was a thread about a lawsuit but I haven't been following it.

15479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Returning to the scene & Apologies for all on: February 25, 2016, 02:22:20 AM
So can someone shed some light here?  I really would like to know who OP is and why he'd be legendary.   Lol
15480  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Muhammed Zakir is back? on: February 25, 2016, 02:20:07 AM
Has anyone tried to message him on skype? He still shows up as online: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=320943

Also in his address remains 0.16 BTC... He could easily pay back with that BTC.

I've got a feeling that someone else is currently in control of that account. If he's online for real, for sure he'd be replying here.
Yeah I tend to agree with that and this sounds ominous to me.  Hopefully it's not that bad.
