Still, the procedure to apply such credit is unclear.
I am waiting 6 days on this already.

Me: I would like to have a credit or refund, please

They: we can do credit [no details provided at all...see my previous post of their response verbatim]

Me: please, either do it or tell me how to do it

They: silence

i hear you i have yet to get any satisfaction.

on my sept 25 shipped sk9

i have yet to ask or start on my nov 22 shipped t17e.

i will email them on sunday and ask for them to apply it towards yet one more s17 pro
15523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z11 on 120v on: November 24, 2019, 03:06:29 AM
Will I have to do anything internally with the psu's? Or do I just plug them in as described?

just plug them in as illustrated the three jacks feed one board.

the boards are independent.

the mistake is two psu feeding one set of jacks/one board.

that will kill the two psu and the board. and the controller.

before you power it up post a photo or two i will look at them for you.  just to be sure you do not kill the gear.
15524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z11 on 120v on: November 24, 2019, 01:37:52 AM
For whatever reason it won't let me upload a picture. But mine looks exactly like this, it's a 10 plug.

https://www.eastshore.xyz/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Antminer-Z11-Zcash-ASIC-Miner-135k-for-Zcash-Mining-IMG-03.jpg

But I see exactly where you are going with rewiring the two apw7's and how this could absolutely destroy the miner is done incorrectly.

yep  give me a minute i will use your photo

you could use this psu

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Certified-Refurbished/Power-Supplies/RMx-Series/p/CP-9020179-NA/RF

for the four jack

and this psu for the 6 jacks

I have a large RV and live on a farm that has a very large off grid solar array, I have access to two 50a 120v circuits. We don't have anything setup for 220v and with the cost of upgrading the equipment it just isn't worth it. I don't mind splitting up the psu's if needed,  just trying to make this all work because of the almost unlimited nearly free electricity.

sounds reasonable.

get a 20amp receptacle from home depot lowes etc.

i will link one here.  you need at least 12 gauge wire going into the receptacle .

https://www.amazon.com/Leviton-CR020-W-Receptacle-Commercial-Grounding/dp/B003ATTR8Y/ref=pd_cp_60_2/130-0688445-0171460?

note it is important you get a 20amp not a 15 amp.

feed it with this gauge wire

https://www.amazon.com/Southwire-28828226-SIMpull-residential-electrical/dp/B0069F4CXQ/ref=sr_1_2?

use two of these

https://www.amazon.com/APW7-Antminer-Power-Supply-Connectors/dp/B07F8F4QWV/ref=sr_1_4?

note the
apw3
apw3+
apw3++
may not have the balls to do it on  120volts.

use these power cords.

https://www.amazon.com/C2G-Premium-Universal-IEC320C13-Compliant/dp/B00009OLLS/ref=sr_1_7?

note these are 14awg  this is important.

when you have the z11  take the cowl off the top  you need to expose the connections.

take a photo and post it here..

I will tell you what to do.

psu one will do this                               psu two will do this

                                                                               jack note for controller

jack  jack                                      jack
jack  jack                                      jack
jack  jack                                      jack

10 jack bit main gear can be wired as above

13 jack bitmain gear is a bit different

not sure if the z11 is 13 or 10 jack

I was indeed given $8xx in credit towards a s17 pro 53th for overpayment on the s17+ no need to lie . As you see payment from "balance" is said credit.

first screen shot of a credit from a balance from anyone in this thread 🧵.

thank you.
15527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z11 on 120v on: November 23, 2019, 08:46:56 PM
They will be 100% dedicated circuits, I can go with either 15 or 20a. I don't necessarily have to use just one psu per machine but I have 0 experience using two psu's on the same machine.

okay two per machine is harder. but can be done.

you could use

2 bitmain apw7

2 apw3+

they will do enough. about 1000 watts each.

i have done this with many miners.

may i ask why you can not go to 240 volt?

you must wire the gear correctly when you use 2 psu or it will kill the miner.
15528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z11 on 120v on: November 23, 2019, 08:32:26 PM
I'm looking to setup a few Z11 machines on 120v power. Does anyone have first hand knowledge on doing this? I don't have access to 220v power and I've got ridiculously inexpensive power where I'm at. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

this belongs in alt coins. i will ask mods to move it.

i will also answer question for you.

first off what are your receptacles how are they fused and are they 20 amp or 15 amp.

next are these dedicated receptacle with nothing hooked up to them?

they spec as 1418 watts which is 12amps.

this means only 1 unit on a 15 amp circuit and nothing else at all.

12/15 is 80% that is a code require safety margin for 24/7/365 runtime.

1418 watts is about 5000 btus of heat.

so you will need to vent heat someplace if you plan on running a few of them.

the wire from the circuit breaker to the plug needs to be 12awg

the wire from the plug to the psu needs to be 14awg.

lastly is what psu to use. hard question not many psu’s will give you 1418 watts 24/7/365 on a 120 volt circuit.

the bitmain apw7 will not work it needs 220volt to do it.

evga 1600 gold will do it
evga 1600 plat will do it
evga 1600 titanium will do it

corsair has an axi 1500 and a an axi 1600.  they will do it.

all of those psu are costly. so good luck.
15529  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: T17e review. on: November 23, 2019, 05:55:44 PM
Thoughts

1) these could use a better psu
2) these could use a second speed.

if they are really 3120 watts it is a lot of power
but i suspect they are closer to my high side numbers of 3356 watts.

i would have preferred them to be 3000 watts.

even though the s17 pro is 1566usd and this is 1071usd

you need to wait an extra month for the t17e

i would suggest buying the s17 pro over this.

as 38 watts for 43th about 1650 watts is better for after 1/2 ing

and 44 watts for 57th about 2600 watts on high is better. for right now.

I did a thread on the t17e.  Try amazon search for leviton 2n208-21 it does up to 200 amps. I am going to quote this and move it to the t17e thread.
15530  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: T17e review. on: November 23, 2019, 04:39:51 PM
easy to see taller psu and skinny controller case on the t17e the unit on the left.

this is the t17e

this is also the t17e

here they are mining

I will post numbers again.

but  t17e  seem to be in the 53-55th area.

the s17pro on low is about 43th

I have 2 measurements on power for the t17e   3356 watts and 3120 watts

the 3356 is on a killawatt style meter this reads high

the 3120 is on a pdu  the pdu reads low

so   3120/54th = 57.77 watts a th
and 3356/54th = 62.15 watts a th

57-63 watts a th range for a t17e

53-55th hash range

note a one speed unit.

the controller for the s17 and s17 pro is this one.

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=000201908151010180899X61guRp068C

the psu for the s17 and s17 pro is this one.
https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=0002019072316001724716dkNtX50679

the label on the t17e psu reads apw9+
the label on the s17 pro psu reads apw9
15531  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: T17e review. on: November 23, 2019, 04:39:39 PM
spacer

front view s17+ on left t17e on right.  the t17e has a bigger psu and a smaller case for the controller

s17 pro side view note the control is shorter

psu for s17 pro

psu for t17e

t17e on left note the psu is taller

15532  Bitcoin / Hardware / T17e review. on: November 23, 2019, 04:39:25 PM
I had two t17e units arrive.

some photos numbers etc to follow.

about 53-55 th

3356 watts on one meter

13 amps on a pdu meter. which is 3120 watts.
15533  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: I have some m10 units on hand Asking 700. on: November 23, 2019, 04:31:58 PM
It was loud and awesome!  Thanks for the tour.  I'm a bit jealous but I can totally see how it goes from a nice hobby to work real quick.

the location is too far.

 60minutes at 6am on a sat
 90 minutes at 9am on a weekday
2 hours coming home on a weekday.

you helped me set the rest of the m10 m20 m21s to static

we now have

m10 from 230 to 239 static
s9 from 130 to 150static
l3+ from 101 to 125 static

easier to find and do hard reboots.

the owner and his son are there 12 hours a day.
one of his workers lives in an apartment facing the warehouse.
we have cameras etc.
we have Verizon and optimum two separate internets.

we will be at about 1.5ph + .5ph + 11gh ltc. by new years.

15534  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon t3 50 arrived. on: November 23, 2019, 03:16:39 PM
while the sale is happening and the bonus unit, philip as usual is correct.

yep and I am still pissed off at them, but to be fair bitmain  has been crappy as of late.  So I have issues with them. Along with pangolinminer.
15535  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon t3 50 arrived. on: November 23, 2019, 01:56:47 PM
Factory setting puts out 50Th @ 2550W Ambient is 65F (Not for long) fans @50%..... chips temps high 60's

This is good   it is better then the  bitmain t17e I got yesterday

It does 54th at 3356

your factory setting of 50th at 2550   is 800 watt savings at a loss of 4th
your high setting of 57th  at 3300     is 56 watts savings with 3 th extra

Right now innosilicon is blowing out  the t3+ 57th

https://www.innosilicon.com/html/t3+57t-miner/index.html

1666 plus shipping

all of bitmains gear is a bit slower or a month slower.  So at the moment  this is kind of competitive.
15536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Special thread concerning bitmains coupons refunds discounts. on: November 23, 2019, 02:23:15 AM
okay i will come back. and delete off topic in a hour or so.

I deleted four posts. i saved them by sending a pm to myself.

so far no one has shown a screenshot or any real proof they have had money credited or refunded.

3 or 4 of us has been promised refunds.

one person  did say they got a credit on a bank transfer.

a second person said they were refunded with no proof or method.

I am not a mod. But this thread  is to be helpful to those of us trying to proper refund/credit/coupon

stating bitmain ships on time is not helpful.  i have an order for 2x t17e miners that were promised on the 1-10 of nov to ship they shipped on the 19.

they arrived today. i mentioned this on my secondary account.

9 days late
marked at 2704 and i paid 3569 an 865 shortfall.

and 9days of mining is about 100 bucks so a 965 shortfall.

this has not been addressed by bitmain.

15539  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: PandaMiner is releasing their first BTC miner, PandaMiner P3 on: November 22, 2019, 03:27:12 PM
[...]

To illustrate this point.

I ordered 1x s17 and 1 x s17 pro  cost was 4900  about oct 11 plus 1200 trump tax

less then 2 weeks later  my partners ordered 2 s17 pros for 4200 built nd shipped from malaysia  add 80 import tax.   so 4280  vs 6100

less then 2 week later same s17 pros are 1566 so 2 are 3132 plus 80 import tax malaysia builds  cost is 3211

so
6100
4280
3211

from oct 11 to Nov 21  same 2 units.  Bitmain last did this  in spring of 2018  dropping the s9's and killing  the price for everyone.

End result  we had a diff and price collapse    from oct 2018 to feb 2019.

Looks like the same problem is going to happen.

How does this relate to the pandaminer for sale here?  very simple  it has made the pandaminer a terrible buy.
15540  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Special thread concerning bitmains coupons refunds discounts. on: November 22, 2019, 03:16:02 PM
Nice work keep posting what happens.
I have 3 orders coming today.

1x s17 controller
2x t17e's
1x s17 pro

the 2x t17e order needs a large adjustment.  I will start working on it  once it arrives and of course it is working gear.
