Thanks for taking me up on the 2x lotto idea. It certainly makes it easier for me to join it. I also know that it takes 2 or 3 hours to fill vs 20 minutes to an hour. Plus you only have ½ the work. A win win for everyone. |

Got my first s17E in my hands today.
It’s arrived it’s bigger that the s17pros slightly quieter haven’t observed it too much had to pop out to work
7 min avg was only 63th but I’m sure it will climb up and end up around 64 !
Temps also look good but I do have it by the window and I live in Canada currently -8C

I sent them the difference in price as soon as order shipped according to the chart they sent me to figure out how much I am owed for my own reference as I asked for reference so I can keep track of all my orders
Then they said you are owed according to chart in credit or refund if you want refund we need bitcoin addrss
Then I sent my bitcoin address and asked to refund the amount politely and to confirm once it’s processed
It’s been crickets since then 2.5 days to be exact
Basically I been in contact since nov 7th this is the summary of the convos
I emailed and asked about status of my order and inquiried about coupon /refund /credit
Replied to me with a chart and saying when the order ships I can get refund or credit according to chart
Emailed them back said it shipped in the meantime before they answered and asked how can I get credit or refund
Replied credit can be applied towards new purchase with PayPal or if I choose refund to provide bitcoin address
Emailed them back saying I choose refund and I’ll combine it with my coupons and other funds to place another order
Waited two days emailed them again saying please refund order # according to chart provided by them I am owed 853$ and if they could please refund as offered and gave my bitcoin address and asked for a follow up or confirmation once processed
Been 2.5 days without any communication
Will probably follow up tomorrow just gotta figure out how to get a reply and move the ball forward
Have 2 more s17e due to ship out with credits of 800 and 750 usd
Good follow up every third day or so. As always be polite and professional. Refer to this thread as I think if they see multiple people here it is a good incentive for them to fix issues. |

i posted the s9k order as it is established that they owe me.
i redacted it somewhat.
i have t17e order and they say there is a 865 difference in price it is past due on shipping. i have screen shot and pdf of it for records.
i did all this becasue a fourm member said his order was moved a month later.
i became concerned bitmain would delay the t17e order to delay paying out refunds.
i would take more gear ie a credit vs a refund.

Pure speculation here, but.... I would imagine the exact amount of refund or credit will not be calculated until your order actually ships. In the event of price fluctuation between now and ship date, I think they'd use the ship date as the cutoff point and determine actual sales price on that date.
So, I'm not expecting to do any hard set calculations until I see the item ship.
yep this is why I am working on my sept 20th delivery I had deliveries on 11-14 it may be able to get a coupon but not a credit (not sure) since it is currently the lowest price. 11-08 it also may be able to get a coupon but not a credit I think the coupon would be 400 10-08 it did get a coupon generated for 368 10-08 it did get a coupon generated for 683 08-08 it owes me a 114 btc refund. ------- I am fighting for this. I am waiting on a late order the t17e order would give me 865 credit-refund it should have shipped on the 10th. I suspect a lot were ordered and bitmain may be delaying them or I am just paranoid. |

Don't you mean 'hundreds of dollars in BTC'? If he is an old timer btc was 5 bucks a coin when I started here. I have old btc addresses that have had 325 coins come in and go out. Most of them were when coins were very cheap. Doing business on bitcointalk has worked for me. But I had a 10 year old established ebay business when I came here. I used that to help me here and used bitcointalk to help me with ebay. |

I will look for the chart it applies to coupons not credits/refunds Coupons max at 30% of item price. i.e. if you have a large 683 coupon 1000 dollar item uses 300 of the coupon and kills off the rest of the coupon. 1500 dollar item uses 450 of the coupon and kills off the rest of the coupon this is the credit order look at red boxes I am owed 114. I could apply it as cash to a future order. I could get a refund in BTC I asked for this a btc refund. It is different then a coupon as it is fully applied to a future order or fully refunded in this case btc. So if this was for 20 s9k units not 2 I would get 20 x 57 = 1140 either as a refund in btc or as a future credit off an order. so a 1599 s17 pro would be 1599-1140 = 459 + shipping and tax much better then a coupon.  |

At prpz and favebook you both should be able to access your shipped sales records please screen shot them for info. they should show the difference between what you paid and how you paid and what they say it was worth when it arrived. For the record I ordered another s17 pro today. I have multiple orders arriving from now until Jan 1. At Biodom.. Go to the unshipped order and screenshot it for your records. I will post a screen shot of the s9k order in a few minutes. A credit is not a coupon it is the full amount owed on an order see the order that has arrived in house it has a red box on view  |

Also if all your power is good and you have 3300 watts at 240 volts. The psu could be failing.
I have 2x 20s 1x 21s I provide 227 volts on a 30 amp circuit for each unit. I have zero issues running my 3 units.

Worse yet I won't learn what my merit source size is since it just was adjusted. I have 1 coupon for 368 buying yet 1 more s17 pro looks tempting. 1599-368 = 1231 + 120 to ship =1351 and maybe no trump tax. With paypal six months no interest.
I talked with frodocooper about a special thread on the bitmain coupon/refund situation it is a very unusual deal they are doing so I will be able to create this thread in hardware as a one time exception . i.e. we do not want it to get lost in service discussion. As the thread may help out more then 1 or 2 or even 10 forum members. To get their fair refund/credits/coupons.
Edit I used my 368 coupon and purchased 1 more s17pro. Cost was 1350 with shipping after coupon. If I get another Malaysia unit I will be at 40 for tax about 1390 usd for a unit that sold for over 3000 less then a month ago. Yeah I got caught up on 2 s17pro's and paid 4900 + 1200 = 6100 for 2 pieces.
But with trump tax not applied due to Malaysia builds the next 2 cost 1550 and 1350 = 2900 for 2 pieces.
so with cost averaging 4 for 9000 = 2250 a piece.

the l3+ earns about 0.02 ltc or about $1.20 there is a power mod to get it down to 725 watts or 17,5 kwatts a day that is 2.50 in power at 15 cents
you lose $1.30
the T9 uses about 1200 watts to do 11th
or 28.8 kwatts a day or 4.32 in power at 15 cents
it earns about $1.82 a day you lose $2.50 a day
If you need a space heater the L3+ is somewhat better as it is less noisy.
D3 is scrap metal the fans are worth 3 or 4 bucks each
the controller can be flashed into an s-9 controller it is worth about 10-15 bucks.
I hope you spent under 250 for the lot.
