its my belief that there is always room for additionall constructive and creative ideas. all things have room for improvement.  i would agree that it can be distracting though if not done so in its own thread fit suggestions and concepts.

honestly, I think the reason for the price continuing to go down is uncertainty.  Although I'm positive this is going to work and work well, not everyone has been with us long and they don't feel they know the developers and their abilities.  Also, they don't know the "quiet times" when Evan et al are with their noses to the keyboard.  They don't come here and talk to us much.  Not until they have something to say.  So people get cold feet, and don't know what's happening because the last post was 2 days ago.  Other coins, I imagine, have developers that chat a lot.  But can you imagine keeping your concentration on a complex project and coming here or even a friendlier place like darkcointalk, and chatting?  LOL

Even in the very beginning, you can see Evan's terse replies....and forgetfulness.  His mind was somewhere else (the code) and he just went with what he had going.

Anyway, I really couldn't imagine the price would fall again like the last 2 days, LOL.  That's why I don't trade

They fear that DRK will take off running and bring their wanna be world to an end.
They fear that they will be looked down upon while looking up at the moon.

....but wait - for some one to fear legal action would mean that they know and understand that they are scammers.

I think I have a better solution than that, I want to turn the masternodes into I2P relays for darkcoin. So your client will pick one when you start, then relay any messages through that one. It encrypts all of the traffic, removes the connection between IP and address and it the blockchain is still a complete fog. Plus it'll be a private I2P, so it'll be super fast. Masternodes are going to be awesome

It happened few hours ago too. I'm using latest wallet.

I had same issue like this.
I first tried -reindex -rescan but no luck.
Then, I deleted blocks, chainstate directory and redownloaded whole block chain.

And it stuck again at the same block number!

So I deleted blocks, chainstate directory and redownloaded with max connection count expanded upto 50.

Now, my wallet is on the right fork.


Just pray for 0.9.4.6 not connect to you. There are so many 0.9.4.6 monsters out there.
It's not perfect solution but there's no perfect method at this time.

Of course I am running 0.9.4.8 wallet
