I am happy to see that such a good platform could be built. I have worked in the concert events and i know that the companies that sell for us the tickets tooks a big commission. Things has to be done and videhub could be a solution.
So, eventchain won't charge anything or very little? Still, not clear to me. Yes, no processing fees on SmartTickets transactions. Tickets will be cheaper for fans and directly paid to artists or promoters! Some say a little fee. Some say no fee. What's the reality? I'm planning to implement EventChain somewhere but I'm confused about the fee. KrakAJAX is one of the team, what he says can be justified.

So users paid for musicians, artint for their lessons? How much will be cost one lessons (in usd) ?
I'm pretty sure it's up to the artists to decide. So price for differents artist lessons is the same or different? No it would be different, lets say an artists like Rihanna, The Weeknd, Drake and Ed Sheeran all held a concert in Virtual Reality. It is up to the artists to determine what they want the price point for their show to be. Most likely the price point would be different in all these examples. So, more popular and more skill artist will charge more money, and newbies less? Its up to the artists, even if popular artists want to determine cheap price, it would be fine.

To be a bit poetic i find that what you wanna democratize is so beautiful. To be able to meet your mother, brother, or anybody as if he was next to you in real time is very beautiful. Future is beautiful At my local hospital they've a project that let's chronically sick kids "believe" their at home instead of in their hospital room. Stuff like that means sooooo much! Wow, that seems like a beautiful project and with a humane cause. I think Vibehub can help them move forward. Actually I do not think that meetings directly have the same feelings if the meeting is done through technology. But this is just my opinion and my experience. On the other hand, the bussiness things like marketplace and anything else are very promising things from this project.

Would someone from the team elaborate on where they see the biggest challenges within this Project on a 1, 3 and 5 year period? thanks in advance
For the average business their problems are usually tech related. We won't have a technology barrier as we have demonstrated with our best-in-class https://alpha.eventchain.io demo. So really the challenges will be simply about team and partnership building. These problems are made easier for us by being well funded and in the crypto space early which gives as 'currency' Do you have team members who have experience in the ticket industry or working with venues? It is a difficult space and having someone with connections or experience would go a long way to trying to secure partnerships. I believe many of the larger venues have multi-year contracts with ticket sellers. You should check there website. They have a great team included people with experience in the ticket industry. Like Richard Patterson and the crew of Click4Time (booking system). The team is solid and will do the work! Yes, we understand working with Venues can be tough and we have that experience ! We are working on a partnership with a ticketing giant on a certain island country in Asia right now, so that will be super excitign news coming out soon! Wanted to remind everyone that we expanded our Bounty Campaign to have new participants in it Here is a link to the full bounty participation campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2152363.0 To Participate in the new Telegram campaign:

Wow, they essentally explain about paypie and even mention it as an example also put a hyperlink to paypie's website. Good news

i need ask something, hope devs answer it. please, explain about different between paypie token as ERC20 token and paypie balance on paypie platform.
Should be the exact same. PayPie just uses the Ethereum blockchain as an underlying economic system. Please correct me if I'm wrong devs. What do you mean about that difference? Search this in the whitepaper : 8 PPP – The PayPie Platform Token maybe it could give you some information you need.

Scrolling through the ANN my guts made me feel I would be silly not to invest in this ico.The team looks very professional and ready to deliver. Concept is very clear and has real world applications,Lastly token supply is very good for medium to long term investments and shorterm if utility and adoption increases progressively.
yeah if Aventus can sell out in mere 10 minutes then EventChain will be in just 1 because EC have more reach than Aventus. EC has a much higher cap, so that might be overreaching but definitely interesting to see where how it goes. It is a very high cap, that i also think will be hard to reach even though it's a solid project. With all the FUD about regulation going on. I wonder what will be done with leftover tokens, will they be burned? Any tokens remaining at the end of the token sale will be assigned to a locked account for a period of 3 years.

Just checked the exhibitors' list. Exhibitor name: Paypie. Category: Accounting software. It's a bit of an understatement, isn't it? Unless there's a category named Accounting smart contract platform, how you would call it? Just imagine those accountant when they say "wtf is a smart contract?". We are only in the beginning of this whole crypto-thing, but you already know this Yep, there are non crypto people there, also this project isnt only for crypto people too. This project need to be understood by everyone. A bank on a blockchain is still a bank, a bakery on a blockchain is a transparent bakery but definitely just a bakery, an accounting software on a block chain...... you see where am going with that. Its still in the accounting software category and that blockchain/smart contract things are the excess paypie in that category.

Whitepaper Page 9 EventChain will have an integrated ticket resale reputation system, allowing event ticket vendors and resellers to build and grow their reputation as they sell SmartTickets. Scalpers will be clearly identified by their SmartTicket reputation
On the one hand you want to stop blackmarket tickets, but there is still the option for resellers to sell on your marketplace. How do you regulate this? If someone for example buy one or two tickets for a great event which he can be sure it will be sold out after minutes and then could ask for double the price or something, will there be a regulation on your marketplace? my guess is that either they won't allow tickets to be sold for a markup or there will be a limit placed on the percentage of mark up allowed. Hello, noob question here, is that something called blackmarket? i thought its normal and can be called investment. Of course, you can also put it that way . Actually, I don't have a problem with people who buy 2-3 tickets additionally to their own and resell them to earn a few Euros, but scalpers buying up all tickets and then resell them to the real fans for an outrageous price is imho almost criminal. I think its like some whales investing in an ICO. But if the scalpers bought the tickets in an abnormal way, like they're already cooperated with the seller, then it's something that's pretty bad. FYI : i dont know anything about ticketing business before

Holy shit. Aventus public sale sold out within 10 minutes. There seems to be lot of interest in blockchain ticketing solutions. It would not surprise me if EventChain would pull the same next week. 3, 2, 1 ... it's gone. Interested investors should better be fast if they want to participate. Right, looking at the success of Aventus as a similar project gives a good idea how popular a blockchain based ticketing system could be. We will see, the one who goes first will be the winner in this game, like ebay. But, it has to be very userfriendly, thats an important point. It should running without any tech skills from a smartphone like a charme. Then it will be a success. Dont forget the older people, it must be very easy to use. But according to the comparison between both projects that was posted earlier, EventChain is targeting more the North America Region, while Aventus wants to focus on Europe. So at first they wont be direct competitors. Maybe when both try to go global, we will see who is going to be the winner in this game. Correct, they have different targets, so it wont be a tough competition for now.

I have some questions regarding your ongoing token sale and the post ico processes: - Are there already ongoing negotiations with bigger exchanges?
- What will happen to unsold tokens?
- What will happen to bought, but unclaimed tokens?
- Are Chinese investors blocked from token sale
1- We have talked with bigger exchanges, but the way things work now. Nothing gets set and stone until your ico is complete. The more funds you raise, the more likely you are to get on big exchanges 2- The market dictate the price of each Vibe so all tokens will distributed during the ICO. There is no burning of coins 3- We can't go into peoples wallet so there is not much we can do on that 4- With this recent news we have no choice but to block Chinese investors Number 3, so the vibex will always be ready to be converted into vibe forever or maybe after several years? in case if maybe someone might forget to convert it. If so, then will that late converting affect the amount of vibe that we should be able to get if we are not late ?

I just checked whitepaper from website. There is no 1:1 info for ppp tokens. I don't think they will go with that idea, if token price is stable that would hurt investments a lot. Why to invest a coin will always be at same price?
Its there, redownload the whitepaper sir, the whitepaper has been updated. I redownloaded it few hours ago
It's gone again. The Whitepapers I downloaded from both the first post here and the website (same URL) until after 1:36 CEST mentioned Pie Coin and the 1:1 peg. The team must have updated it since then. Now there is no mention of Pie Coin or pegging anymore. Additionally, section 5.4.1 has been renamed to Real-time Transactions. Aww, then that one is the latest version, they just confirmed it, but i thought what they meaned before is yours.

One thing that is significantly holding back VR adoption is the price of the hardware (headset, accessories, and decent PC). At the moment it seems like the VR hardware companies are trying to improve on their existing headset offerings with various accessories rather than release newer models (which would allow a cheaper entry point using the older hardware). It's just a matter of time before prices start to become more affordable though.
Yes, but if people want that hardware, then they are the one who need to work to afford it instead of the producers that should to make the price cheaper.

how to increasing tha token value if it's pegged with FIAT currency for 1:1?
As far as I understand there are PPP Tokens, which can vary in value, and Pie Coins, which are pegged to major currencies. There's a little bit more info in the new whitepaper: Once the decentralized single ledger is set up, PayPie trustless ecosystem can be used to move money among parties without involving providers like Stripe, PayPal or any other 3rd party using internal stable “Pie Coin” pegged 1:1 against major currencies and balances tracked on the single ledger. So do I understand correctly that the PPP Tokens are consumed into Pie Coins (also ERC20 tokens), similar to buying an intermediary currency such as crystals (which are then used as currency to buy in-game items) in a mobile game? I would like the dev to answer this too. I'm not sure about how this work too, but I think that you guessed correctly. That's interesting to have a stable cryptocurrency directly linked to the platform Hi Guys. Think of the PPP token ( whatever they choose to call it in the platform) being pegged to a major currency like the USDTether coin. No matter what the Bitcoin price does, 1 USDTether coin is ALWAYS worth 1 USD. The PPP token that is used internally will be used the same way. This is in order to facilitate the transfer of funds between the "buyer" and "seller" in the platform. So there will be no volatility. Example: Lets say you use the platform and somebody gets the equiv of $10,000 in BTC. If it took 1 week for them to get the $10k in BTC, the price could have fallen or risen by the time they "Cash Out". By using their internal token that is ALWAYS tied 1:1 with the USD, the receiver of the tokens could wait 8 months, and they would still have EXACTLY $10k worth of "tokens". I hope this helps you out in understanding how the process will work. Edit: I am NOT part of the PayPie team, but I will be HUGE investor when this (PRE) ICO goes live. Also note to Devs, as my name implies, I am more than happy to offer services as a point of contact for a very reasonable fee That's an interesting System and a stable currency is probably the best for such a market, but on the other side, if someone would let money lay around there he would lose a bit of value of money to the inflation. What will happen if you buy some certificates of indebtedness and the company linked to it will not pay the money? You lose all or you will need to take someone to the court? If this is the case, no he won't. he will always same amount of $. We are thinking always bitcoin will gain more value, but it's not always the case. But i'm not sure it will be like usdtether. We will be informed near the ico i guess. if this token pegged with FIAT (USD), value will not volatile. i talk about value of this token, if this token has more value, it will better than pegged this token price. but, if pegged with FIAT and token price in market is higher than on platform, it more valuable. it will give us more profit, right? I just checked whitepaper from website. There is no 1:1 info for ppp tokens. I don't think they will go with that idea, if token price is stable that would hurt investments a lot. Why to invest a coin will always be at same price? Its there, redownload the whitepaper sir, the whitepaper has been updated. I redownloaded it few hours ago
