I think I am going to join you guys, but I just need to figure out whether I will actually be available on those Sundays.

I don't know if it has already been set, but I would definitely suggest Sundays (not Saturdays) as the date.

This way you have the option to play a few more tournaments on the big platforms at the same time. One-tabling a single table for hours is a bit boring in the long run, haha. Doesn't Betnomi also have a bigger Sunday tournament which is open to everyone? And are there actually rules for multi-tabling there? Or can you only open a limited number of tables?

Also, I would keep our tournament series shorter rather than longer (and then restart), otherwise some members might not want to participate because they don't have time on one or two Sundays, for example.

Well, even if someone misses a round or two (and I guess each of us missed at least one or two games per series) can still reach the final table. Of course, if he plays well in all other rounds. I guess that's the point in the series, to reach that sponsored final table! Smiley

I am not sure if there is a limited number of tables, I never played more than 2 or 3 tables at once at Betnomi. I think there is no limit by Betnomi, limit comes from too many opened tabs to follow, in my case, more than 2-3 would be too much for me...

As Yahoo says, it's impossible to please everyone... I don't care if it's Saturday or Sunday, it's almost the same for me, I will try to find time in any case.

1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: February 07, 2023, 09:39:51 AM
What’s your favorite Play’n Go games and what’s the highest multiplier you get on playing their slot games? Share your experience.

Well, as I commented in the official livecasino.io thread, my biggest multipliers were not with this provider, they were with Hawshack Gaming and No Limit City.

Do you mean HackSaw? I have never heard of Hawshack Gaming...
I recently promised myself that I will never play Hacksaw again! Especially the "buying bonuses part", and I will not even play "normal spins"... I had some big wins, but how much I played/bought bonuses it's almost like nothing. So recently I bought 3 Chaos Crew bonuses at $0.4 (bonus buy is over x120), and in all 3 I got less than x10...  it's not like it's happening to me for the first time. While some people are hitting crazy high multis (I know some of them), my experience is very unfortunate.

One of the providers I can't play everywhere, in some casinos Play'n Go is restricted for me. But in some, I can play it freely... Play'n Go has an impressive list of games, and they have new releases from time to time. Some of my favorite slots are Reactoonz 2, the Green Knight, Legacy of Dead, and Book of Dead... I had over x1k on some of these slots.

is it de-dollarisation... or simply dollarocide
...

The best would be de-fiatisation or fiatocide!

All fiat currencies are pretty much the same shit, just different names, and colors... and of course, some stink more and some less! All of them are too corrupt, I simply can't imagine how that can be fixed.

I don't think we will see some big changes on the global financial stage in the near future, but again some conflicts around the world look dangerous and I am afraid in case of escalation, things can change pretty quickly!
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US casinos set new record of revenue on 2022 on: February 06, 2023, 06:43:33 AM
I am sure that Serbian casinos (or maybe better to say Balkan casinos) are setting up new records every year in the past 5 years! Land-based casinos are almost on every corner, if not a few of them (different companies), and when it comes to online casinos you simply can't miss all those ads on TV and almost everywhere else.
And I am talking about fiat casinos, crypto is still not so "popular" here. We are moving in the same direction as the world does, but as always we are doing it very slowly. I guess there's some progress, but nothing significant most likely.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting Facts About Online Casinos on: February 05, 2023, 04:36:27 PM
Fact number 8 is a well known one. That will continue to be the top for many years to come and the reason is simple,in slot machines we have a huge variety of slots, themes, sounds, graphics and what is most important different bonus games mechanics in almost every slot, almost all of them have a unique bonus.Beside this in most of these games you can have the option to buy in the bonus game or feature game when you are feeling that luck is not on your side at specific times so you don't go away bored without trying the bonus game.

And it's a lot easier to navigate through all of them in online than at a land-based casino, it's why fact No. 6 says that 90% of slot players are playing online, including me. I can't even imagine myself going to land casino to play slots... moving from slot to slot after minutes of playing, maybe waiting for someone else to stand up from my favorite slot. Playing slots online is a lot better experience, big screen and a big (huge) choice of providers, each with many attractive slots and other live games.
1567  Economy / Economics / Re: When your passive income equals or slightly above your salary, what would you do on: February 05, 2023, 11:06:29 AM
...
Don't quit your constantly paying job for passive income since you said it's passive you are not doing anything to get that so keep doing your job as well as earning the passive way gives you more opportunities in less time.

When you are sure that you had good savings and passive income has potential to grow further then you can think about it.

If there's an opportunity for making two salaries the best would be to just continue with that... it's a good time for saving some money or even better for making some investments, DCA for example... each month the portfolio will grow and grow. With two salaries there's that extra cash that can be used very well, for many things, but who knows how old OP is, and in what kind of life situation he is...

Maybe he already has enough money saved, in that case, he can look for some "fun" and live a life. Sometimes moving a focus from work, work, work can be a good life decision.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what is the best way to gamble w/ BTC on online casinos? on: February 05, 2023, 09:17:03 AM
...
What have you found works best? What does not work? I guess I am looking for a sort of "cheat sheet" if you will. If that even exists.

"Cheat sheet" does not exist! And if you are trying to cheat it's not nice, to not mention it's illegal, you should know that.

There is no universal answer to what works and what doesn't work in gambling, different personalities/skills/experiences, and different bankrolls make each player unique in some way. So if it works for one, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will work for others... and if it's not working for many it doesn't mean it will not work for you. I guess you need to try it and find out for yourself what's the best for you, what games suit your personality and your skills and knowledge. By trying things around you gain experience, there are no shortcuts.
1569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the origins of provably fair technology in gambling? on: February 05, 2023, 07:31:41 AM
My question is, does provably fair technology exists specifically because of crypto gambling or is it something else?

As I know "provably fair" exist only in the crypto gambling space. Blockchain is responsible for that:
Quote
Games are built using blockchain technology, making them transparent and ensuring integrity with robust encryption.

Quote
Provably Fair Games are so-called because they give players the ability to verify the fairness of their bets. It means that an online casino can’t cheat a player because the outcome of the game is provable, transparent and verifiable.

They are built on open-source algorithms and run on smart contracts platforms, which makes it impossible for any online gambling sites to modify or alter the game outcomes. Games on these smart contracts are handled by programming code, which means that there’s no chance for a casino to change the result of the bet.

Source: Glossary of Provably Fair Games – how does it work?

Basically, with provably fair technology the casino is no longer in complete control of the outcome. This is why provably fair casinos are better than traditional ones... With provably fair games you can always check the fairness.
If you really want to learn about it there are many articles and blogs about provably fair technology. One of the good ones is this one: Provably fair explained.

Before before, it was hard to tell whether an online gambling site was legitimate or not, therefore many people avoided using them.

Before, and now for many traditional casinos and games, it was impossible to verify the fairness of the game.
1570  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: February 04, 2023, 08:32:41 PM
I´m not a VIP in any place and that makes me feel excluded from the main benefits that can be obtained, and that runs from a place to me, that they only give benefits to them and not to others, it is like something already very important. exclusion, maybe it only happens to me and a few, but if they give benefits it should be for everyone, for the vvip, the new ones and the regular players, that's just a suggestion but since it's about giving and telling the truth, that's it, and if a site grows should be with all clients, those who have the clouds and everything.

VIP players are VIPs for a reason, if the benefits are the same for everyone what would be the point of "loyalty programs"?

You are not the VIP in any casino, and I feel like you don't gamble at all! In many casinos, there are "benefits" for all the players, but of course, the higher levels (VIPs) get better ones. Besides wagering, which is important for many things when it comes to gambling, there are other things from preventing abusers to "just claim free money and abuse bonuses of any kind". It's a simple thing, people who deposit and actually play should have more benefits, as it is... So I am not sure why you feel excluded if you don't "wager" enough.
1571  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com 🔐 Icarus Poker Series | Discussion Thread ♥♠♦♣ on: February 04, 2023, 07:15:36 PM
-snip-
0.005BTC "main" buy-in that goes to prize pool for finalists in total (added to the final week basically if we do points like in the past).
0.0025BTC "weekly" buy-in that is added to the prizepool on each weekly gameday so to speak. -snip-
Oh, but that would be expensive. But I'm not sure whether it might not be too high and fewer people would play along as a result. With such a high stake, I wouldn't be sure if I'd be there. I'm just not a good poker player and for me this tournament would be just too expensive to have a little fun.  Smiley
...

I am not sure I get this... $10-$15 buy-in per game is what we had before. If 0.005 "main" buy-in means for all games (for example Cool it's like $15 dollars per game at the moment, if I get it right? And that's fine... we had many discussions about the "buy-in" amount, $15 is not so expensive but at the same time, it's not so low to attract all kinds of players.

...
The above would be my dream scenario and I know splashing out 0.0075BTC the first week is not for everyone but I think we could garner some decent interest either way!

Also, I suck at poker but I'll put a prize on my head each week to the tune of 0.015BTC which means that if you take me out in any of the weeks you are basically freerolling the rest of the tournament.

Well, I would play anyway, but to be honest, I'm not sure there will be enough players for 1 table with that buy-in.

The bounties are nice addition... you are rising the heat, maybe this series will turn into something very interesting! Smiley
1572  Economy / Economics / Re: I have resolved into buying more and caring less on: February 03, 2023, 07:53:30 PM
actually it doesn't matter how much you buy btc and at what high value you stop buying it. 'IF' you have free funds
Having a good and accurate portfolio is everyone's dream because it can reduce the impact of unexpected events

That "if you have funds" makes the difference I guess. Many people would like to have more (including me, of course) free money for investing in different things, as you say, having a good portfolio is everyone's dream! But how many people actually have that "free money"? Most people live from month to month, or in the worst case day to day, and it's really hard to put some "significant" amount of money aside.

Each of us is in a different situation. I have two little kids and I am trying to finish the house, expenses are big... the prices are going up! It's a bit hard to keep up, and when you get into some "big projects" the money is just flowing away, sort of speaking...

And for sure we all want to reduce the impact of unexpected events and unexpected expenses, but shit happens. It's life!

AllIN: Let's play!

Let's play! Smiley

As for the structure, I don't think there is room for experimenting.. what we had was the simplest possible and what suits the majority of players. So I don't have some suggestions about it, I'm sure it will be interesting to play with some of you guys again, regardless of the tournament structure... I am definitely in!
1574  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 03, 2023, 10:42:33 AM
Yeah right, if only this surge in price could have happened few days ago then I would have won the bet, LOL.

Also, the base rewards for free roll on freebitco.in has now decreased by 1 satoshi due to the surge in bitcoin price.
Current base reward is 8 satoshis.

I am not completely sure what you write is true, because I think that base reward depends on personal stats, if you use it a lot, without wagering, betting or playing multiply game, it will decrease. You may take a look at "% achieved...." to see how it changes when you roll or bet.

It's true:

Quote
Play MULTIPLY BTC, BET ON EVENTS or buy lottery tickets to increase your FREE BTC rewards by up to +0.00000171 BTC

So by wagering, you can increase the base reward, but even if you don't do any wagering you can claim the base reward every hour. We had a little discussion a few pages back: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg61675848#msg61675848. As you can see as the price of Bitcoin is higher the base reward is lower, and vice versa.

The question is will it rise enough to affect WoF spin prizes? I have 996 free spins waiting, I am not sure if should I spin them while the prizes are max 50... I planned to wait for the next Lambo draw.
1575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - take profits or continue to DCA? on: February 02, 2023, 08:15:27 PM
For many people, DCA is something unattainable... simply the costs (weekly/monthly) are greater than the (weekly/monthly) income. It has always been and always will be, the ones who have the means to save can do it in many different ways (one of them is investing in risky ventures), and the ones who don't will be trapped in the "magical circle of poverty".

If you can continue with DCA, and when it comes to buying more coins, you should do it. It's not the time for taking profits, except if someone is some desperate need of cash.

Cini se da su se nasi junaci malo zaigrali sa spoljnom politikom. Juce citam neku diskusiju na Redditu gde ljudi prijavljuju nemogucnost slanja novca na IBAN u Srbiju. Bas nesto i nemam dobar osecaj povodom svega.

Cudne stvari...

Nisam siguran da li su se ovi junaci zaigrali sa spoljnom politikom ili samo hoce da svi idemo u "MaxBet"? Smiley

I didn't notice this casino until now, and I love dividend-based casinos!

I logged in with Telegram, and it's a nice-looking site, but still with just two games. I also couldn't find more about how to earn SLM and how to stake it... Weekly $500 Race with zero participants? To be honest I am not sure how safe this site is, I wonder if anyone from here has tried this casino, with some deposits/withdrawals?
1578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 01, 2023, 05:22:41 PM
I don't want to believe that this person bet all he has on a game even if they are sure of it's out come, maybe this person is a Billionaire? You can't be struggling in life and using 1.4 million USD to gamble, if this person is not a billionaire then he is a victim of his own greediness, I have learned my lesson in 2018 where I always blindly gamble my money away through online gambling platforms, I've lost a lot and I broke the addiction later, I forget about everything and stop gambling, now I only use very small amount of money and I never dreamed of winning big, it's more fun and winning for me now.

Well, Darren Rovell is not a billionaire, as I read he is a millionaire, so this loss hurt him a lot for sure. He is a victim of his own greediness, but also of his own stupidity... he risked a million and a half dollars to earn $10k. I believe he learned a lesson, there is no safe bet in gambling, so don't risk too much, it can turn ugly in minutes.

Hello,
Has anyone used ChatGPT for trading?

Thank you so much.

In the past few weeks, I saw "ChatGPT predicting the price of some coin (BTC, Shiba, Ethereum...)" news in my google feed. To be honest, I didn't bother to read it or check whether these predictions are correct. When there are headlines and articles about it I guess some people are already using ChatGPT tips for trading, but I am not sure how accurate those predictions are... I tried to find some stats about it, but nobody published anything about it yet.
1580  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: February 01, 2023, 11:15:47 AM
Isn't this a vicious circle ? How would you deal with the problem ? I am all ears.

I think people get addicted to other stuff that money can buy... taking a loan is just the easiest way to get more money at once, for any sort of reason. It's a vicious circle if you are getting into one loan after another, especially if you are using those loans for fun (which includes gambling, drugs, expensive lifestyle, and other vices...).
So how to deal with it... simply by cutting down your expenses, quitting some expensive "hobbies" and moving to a moderate lifestyle. Focusing on work and finding additional sources of income, for sure it would be better to work harder than to have free time and space to think about "your vices".

I took many loans, but always when I needed more cash at the moment for some big things (sort of speaking). I wouldn't be able to get a lot of things done around the house without loans, short and long-term ones, depending on the amount...
