Cash is better than Bitcoin because transaction in cash are free and don't require you to pay transaction fees but transaction in Bitcoin charge very high fees and is not as quick as transaction in cash. Moreover cash works just fine offline as well.

500 USD is a small amonth for crypto world nowadays.
With the current price of bitcoin that can be considered as low amount but still that can be considered as big amount already for those people that are needy. I would risk to increase my money. Because you can buy only less than 0.2 BTC or less than 2 ETH for this amonth and it wouldnt satisfy me sth like 10% 20% increase. I would definetely try like more risky coins or maybe an ico.
Investing to ETH is also a good choice but with crypto everything can be risky and has a chance to make money. |

For exemple, I go to a coffee shop, I buy a coffee, then I pay with Bitcoin, we have to wait for a confirmation, no? or the merchant will just trust me if I show my wallet?
How can we be sure that it's not a double spent transaction or something else?

to me i personally prefer to bitcoin as compare to paypal. in fact paypal service is not available in my country and that is the only reason i cannot use paypal, but it has become too easy to use bitcoin instead of paypal. In what country you live? I dont know that there are aome countries that PayPal is inaccessible. But to those people that are in the same situation as yours bitcoin will be the best choice.
