I think what you are expecting is too much. I don't think that Bitcoin will be the solution of all governments to unite in one kind of government. I don't also think that it is a good idea on having one man run the whole world. yes that is not so easy, they have a lot of other disputes, for example land dispute, trading, economic superiority and many more. but still if all the countries combine and agreed to use one and single currency it will at least solve some problems and will bring them a little close, but  it possible that USA will like Afghanistan to have same currency which have the same value here and in Afghanistan also, i do not think so.
