Damned, there was a lot of bot trailing to this dump. Tried to get some at 13.43 on the way down and 13.33 on the rebound. However both bids was run through like ghosts!!!

It's that the bots trailing  bid's/ask's get in the way of my manual orders which are executed in que and thus pending to long while a bot got a 1000 ask's in the first 100 milli seconds. This must be an annoyance to others also!!!

Didn't lose anything but feeling a little rigged.

place a bid, or get a bot.

When i wish on a shooting start, I wish for less ways to wish for and more ways to work toward it.

WOW! DA WALLS!

I always suspected the teens would be a source of major resistance, anyone who bought a large amount back in summer 2011 around 13 is like "FINALLY i can get my money back"

I think you've got a point, but I'd say that we could very well see this long slog upwards all the way until we break the peak June 2011 prices.

we will continue to very slowly go upward until we don't get a dump for like a good 2-3 weeks, then BOOM 32$ and climbing fast! the higher we go the less liquidity we leave behind. A dump of 10,000BTC at 50 will bring us back down to 30 but no panic only a mad dash for digital cash  Wink

It appears the bot is just executing a market buy of 0.0101 whenever the bear bot does his trick.

its 2 bullbots vs 1 bearbot

lol

my feeling is.

this is crazy no one is going to guarantee someone elsess code is 100% safe...
and what do you do when you come across what looks like bad code... you fix it? and guarantee your fix will not break anything anywhere else?
for any project that has more then 100 lines of code, this service wouldn't cost 100's of bitcoins but 1000's of bitcoin.

guaranteed code  Shocked

no way...

So you can see the address to check the balance because of the clear sticker and yet the private key stays hidden face down towards the coin? Am I correct in assuming this?

that's right, you need to peel off the sticker to see the hidden private key.

Slow grind up. The bid wall is filling in pretty nicely.

Right, get left behind. Jumping off a cliff alone is a way of leaving one behind right? LOL

lol what?

I sold a few coins the other day, no one is jumping off any cliffs.

15774  Economy / Speculation / Re: new years day rally again this year? on: December 12, 2012, 04:46:28 AM
Do you think last year is any indicator?

I expect another new year's day rally.

Also, I expect another rally on Christmas day this year.

Right everyone is buying bitcoins that already have bitcoins...right?

Oh wait...lol if you have bitcoins already and want to give them as xmas gifts you dont need to buy them lol

Oh right if you want to buy christmas gifts more than likely you will use fiat. but then again there are a few alternative sites that barely even us on this forum are aware of which would allow you to buy christmas gifts with btc.

LOL "BTC gonna skyrocket brotha...forever!"...
ROFL!  Grin Grin Grin

"I expect everyday to be a BTC rally!"

LOL

lol smoothie. don't buy back, you deserve to be left behind!

OHHH BURN!

Why would I buy back if I made more than 1500% on my initial investment?

Yes I deserve to be left behind, but I doubt that will be the case. If I get left behind, why would I complain with my profits? LOL

Ohhh sounds like you got burned by me being completely honest.

One more thing, weren't you the guy Cypher kept having to tell you  (approx 100 times) to buy bitcoin yet you refused? LOL

Oooooh you fail! ROFL!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I keep hearing this. It doesn't make any sense... it's like a "sunk profits" attitude (like "sunk costs"). Your past successes have no bearing on whether it is rational to invest now.

Uh duh, it wasn't me who was talking about buying or not it was Adam. Keep up with the conversation okay?

thanks LOL  Grin Grin Grin

wtv man i have bitcoins, you don't, that's all that matters Grin Grin Grin

as long as their are no dumps we will be going up extremely slowly
dumps will be caught and quickly bought back up to 13.30ish where we start going up extremely slowly again.

I would be interested in being listed as a distributor. My localbitcoins.com profile is https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/jtibble/, and my listings there mention that I'm selling your coins. I only have a couple on-hand at the moment, but I'm interested in purchasing more if there's demand.

I'm looking to list those who buy 50+ coins at a time and offer them for sale in other countries, or who are willing to sell for credit cards (such as with a limit of 2 coins, shipped only to cardholder address, and a healthy markup to make it worth their while).  A list of individuals willing to sell in person is out of scope for the list I have in mind, and would best be served by me linking to localbitcoins.com if that gets popular.

i guess you mean sellers of original Casascius coins with hologram?

Mainly, yeah.  I mean, this is what someone buying 1 coin likely wants to collect, and this is the easiest to sell.  The coins without hologram are perfect for conveying bitcoins in the form of a coin at a low cost.  I have no objection to sales of the roll-your-owns, it's just that if I point traffic to you, those buyers are going to be expecting to at least see the hologrammed coins available.

If you want to exchange the roll-your-owns as credit toward hologrammed ones, I would be open to that.  I doubt you'll have problem selling hologrammed ones, as I charge 0.35 BTC (!) more per coin to buyers who want a quantity less than 10, and nobody has complained about the price, and buyers still place plenty orders for 1 coin, plus I have no shipping option that costs less than 0.4 BTC, even though 1 coin can be mailed in an envelope for less than 0.1 BTC.  The markup between my price-per-100 and price-each is definitely worth making them available if you're going to the trouble of stickering your own.

shipping the coins back to you wouldn't be cheep, I'll keep them. thanks for the offer.
100coins for ฿112.00 is a good deal (wish this was offered b4 i bought the blank coins), but I'll have to pass.
