I give up

offer everyone you meet 10% in 3 months or less if they hand you some money right now
buy bitcoin
wait 48 hours
sell bitcoin
Profit!!!!!!!!!  Grin Grin Grin

we could try. but most people don't understand money/savings/finance enough. They won't see how this is a good deal. The average American would rather spend their money than invest for their future. They shall have a less prosperous future due to their own ignorance

You can show a horse bitcoin but can't make him buy

doesnt seem to matter to much when someone dumps huge into this market,

you dump 10K "the market" dumps 50!
14803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 20, 2013, 08:53:34 PM
people buying 50K+ bitcoin would be foolish not to start selling it off slowly when their bet actually pays off...
doing Number_of_coins * MTGOX_last_price != what you'd get when you finally capitalize on your risky investment.

... just putting up a 50K ask wall would mean 5% or less unrealized "profit" ...

What the hell are you even talking about, first off who is buying 50K+ coins? i would think this is unlikely that it is a trader more likely an exchange of some sort,

I spend bitcoins all the time, im sure anyone who bought in and has made money is as well,

... just putting up a 50K ask wall would mean 5% or less unrealized "profit" ...

what does this even mean, if someone who is trading is putting up a wall that big or selling off that big they believe this is the top of where its going, the profit when somene invests in a move this big is not from putting up the wall itself they are looking to buy back lower,

I dont understand this, if its about how someone is willing to risk 50K coins for a 5% profit that is so dumb bro who the hell is going to do that,

all I'm saying is if someone bought 50K bitcoin at 5 - 10 or even 15$ he'd be stupid not to be selling it off, and should realize that he MUST do it slowly without putting to much selling pressure on the market....

its not as simple as BUY AND HOLD... and making profit buying holding and then selling is way more complicated when your dealing with 50K + bitcoin, the liquidity on this market is thin as ... well its thin!

Man, there is seriously a flood of money pouring into the system right now.  There's never been a better time to sell thousands of BTCs if you have that many.

Is it tho? if you had 1000s of coins you want to pay the fees? you realize that 1000 coinsnow is 29,000, if it drops only a few dollars you stand to gain what a couple grand? what if your wrong? now you have to buy back inat a loss, Mind you that this isnt 100s of dollars we are talking about, this loss isnot a loss like a normal average run of the mill income person, this loss is SHITTY,

risk and reward bro, if somene who has that many wants to stab at it for the small gains they are more than welcome to do it,

14805  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sorry to inform you, the current rally is over now... or very soon. on: February 20, 2013, 08:22:24 PM
The chart below shows the current total value of all BTC that have been produced (sometimes called "market capitalization")
Please look closely at what happened last time the value shot up so fast.
Common sense tells us the current rally is over, sorry.

Please sell your BTC at the nearest exchange and wait for a much lower price.  Cheesy

Do you know why it colapsed the 1st time? Can you be basing your theory on that chart alone with no other due dilligence? I hope not son.

do you?

if you say hacks you'd be wrong...

the hacks and BS happened AFTER the crash.

14809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy Bitcoin now at $29? on: February 20, 2013, 05:12:50 PM
The Rally will fail to make a new all time high,

As the price goes down, people will rush to get their Bitcoins out of their paper wallets and SELL SELL SELL. we will cut down to 18 like 8 million dollars was NOTHING!  Shocked  after which a unstable year long down trend will bring us very close to 10$, the forum will be buzzing Cheep coins again.

It's either >32 or <2.

i don't think so... failing to make a new all time high doesn't mean bitcoin is worth less then 2$, and going over the all time high doesn't mean bitcoin is worth more then 50$

the reason we so close to all time high is because of real growth, but this market cannot easily be shorted so the growth has lead to a bit of a bubble, its will pop... but it will not go crash and burn below 2$.... I think coming close to single digits will have everyone excited about buying cheap coins again.

How many of you bears have seen a bubble? I mean a real, soap bubble? A real bubble is not going to let out some air then re-expand before it bursts OK? The price has been moving up at a way lower speed in comparison to the June 2011 bubble, with quite a few dips here and there, it looks much more solider. You can't just randomly draw a line and say the price will stop here, with some circumstantial evidences, most of which applies to when it was at $15, $20, $25  And no, I am not saying a bubble will not form and will not crash some time later.

believe wtv you want and let the market forces move the market.

this time its different, this time its a bubble!
oh wait nvm its the same.. Tongue

Last time price went from $24 to $32 in 4 hours. So this time IS different. Tongue

That's what I am looking for to call a top to this bull-run. Which is why $27.50 was a road-bump, not the top.
It really does look like a spike into the mid-30s would occur, at least, before a medium-turn downtrend happens.

that's the thing everyone seems to say, it will go UP UP UP and THEN go back to a reasonable level.

its a bubble GTFO b4 its to late!

To Sell Or Not To Sell Huh

IMO do not sell. Do not underestimate Reddit exposure + Mega.
Mega/Reddit are great news but in the past in great news times the price goes down, very deep.
In the other hand according to some technical analysts a huge correction is imminent.

On 32 bubble i lost my oportunity... this train goes to the moon or not?

when it comes to bitcoin, a bird in hand is worth 21 in the bush  Tongue
