1581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is the Secret Candlestick !!! on: October 26, 2018, 09:00:56 AM
I don't believe that there's a strategy in trading that can make one's trade earn profits consistently. You might be lucky at your trades that your picks are getting profits but there will be a time the strategy will work. Keep in mind that market reacts based on the supply and demand and on top of that there are whales out there than can control the price because they have a huge stash of coins that when they dump, price will be effected. Strategy wont work there.
1582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: October 26, 2018, 08:48:46 AM
Honestly, it is impossible to predict the price of Bitcoin because look at the last year charts the price of Bitcoin increased very fastly which nobody didn't expect. Now people are predicting the price of Bitcoin based on the previous ATH, but there is no guarantee whether it will reach more than 20000$ in the coming days.
Yes it is unpredictable indeed but by using price history or comparing the price from the past 3 years you will see that the price of Bitcoin is good on the final quarter of the year and most specially in the last month of the year. Last years price surge on the last quarter of the year according to analyst is because of the new investors from wall street. That means the investors have money unlike new investors that are just starting or just heard about Bitcoin and they wan't to try it out.
1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 138: Volkan vs Smith Prediction and Info Thread on: October 26, 2018, 08:38:09 AM
Not a lot of notes for this card.

~snip~

Yes I see none familiar names names on the fight card, what I see are names that may have a bright future with UFC. UFC Fight Night is like WWE’s talent developmental system. They put new fighters, most of them unknown to see if there's potential. There are times there are familiar names in the fight card but very seldom. Dana maybe is hunting for another fighter than can be the next cash cow like Conor McGregor.
1584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: October 26, 2018, 08:26:24 AM
Don't rely on luck when you are trading. Check the charts, use the available tools in the exchange site to check if the price of the coin that you want to buy is still good. Learn how to use tools like RSI (Relative Strength Index), Bollinger Bands and Parabolic SAR. Check the price history as well so that you will know if price is high compared the last few days and check the news of that coin that you want to buy.
1585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 26, 2018, 06:56:04 AM
Of course. It's easy to sit in your pajama pants and click buttons. True progress comes from every day routine. Operating at your best. You have to stay on top of the game when trading, but also balance out being healthy. Off screen time is just as important. Impulsiveness and not being balanced leads to bad mistakes. Not all of us are good at 'jobs' anyway!
Yes I agree. The advantage of working at your own pace and time is not a problem. No need to ask your manager for a short break and take a nap any time you want. However the disadvantage of working like this is one might not take it seriously. Its better if a room will be available just for working from home so no outside disturbance can happen when your working.

Well, for now, I only sell assets that I have, and do not trade. seeing a market that was quite a crisis, made me refrain from trading. well, maybe trading will be a very good job, but for me, the current situation is less profitable.
You will be surprised to see traders still get profits even on a bear market that we are experiencing now. They are happy with earning 1.5% per trade in a day, they sell right away when they see that they hit their goal.
1586  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 26, 2018, 06:38:09 AM
One thing I hate about Coins.ph is when you try to call their customer service number it will take you 2-3 minutes before you can reach a live person because of those options from the voice prompt and that is if there's an available live person to handle your concern. Most of the time when I have trouble with my cash out, I just drop by their Office in Ortigas since I just live nearby.
1587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: October 26, 2018, 04:56:11 AM
It depends on how you trade but lets look at other type of job too. A taxi driver here in the Philippines drive a cab for 24 hours and rest for 1 day then drive again for 24 hours, not healthy? How about those who works in BPO's at night shift, their work starts at 11:00Pm so they are awake at night and sleeping in the morning, unhealthy? It depends on the person and its a choice. if you are earning a lot from trading, you will not look at it like that.
1588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes when trade coin on: October 26, 2018, 04:07:32 AM
Greed will really eat you up. This happened to me when I bought ANT (now NEO). price is really low and then when they changed the name to NEO the rice climbed to $100 and I hold on to it thinking that it will go up further to $150. I earned a lot if i sold ny NEO at $100 since I bought ANT only at below $10. Now look at NEO's price.
1589  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan to start a business on: October 26, 2018, 03:47:49 AM
Need loan to start a business

I need loan to start a business, the best stain remover ever, please look a video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4p93Ttopwc4

I would like to distribute it to the market and I need a loan.

Please, if you have any question contact me.
Your best shot is go to a Bank or a Lending Institution and present your business plan. Bank will look into it and see if there's potential in your business and they might consider giving you a loan. However, banks will also ask for collateral's since there is no guarantee that your business will take off and earn right away.
1590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: October 26, 2018, 03:41:06 AM
Trading bitcoin can start now without waiting any longer. No need for large capital, small capital is also enough to learn while practicing. Trading bitcoin is very simple, buy bitcoin now and wait for prices to rise then sell. It's the simplest, but effective strategy.
It's not as easy as you think it is. It's not as simple as Buy now, Sell later. Thats why there's a lot of those who jumped into trading and left empty handed because they lack knowledge in the basics of trading. At first you may think that its very easy specially if you are into day trading, but looking at charts and understanding them more will give more gains than just guessing when to exit. Invest in knowledge first before you start investing in cryptos.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: October 26, 2018, 03:19:28 AM
I still don't understand why there are many projects. maybe everyone is competing to create a place in the world of cryptocurrency.
but it's okay. maybe of the many cryptocurrency and projects, later we will see which is most beneficial for many people.
natural selection and hard work of each developer.

There are many projects because there are people who thinks that what they have in mind is better than what is available at hand. Its a competition too. However, what other see is an easy money scheme by duplicating someones project and add some changes or improvements, ask someone to promote and wait for the money to start coming in. After a few months they will abandon the project and move to another one.
1592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: October 26, 2018, 03:04:29 AM
It looks like another star wants to fight Senator Manny Pacquiao but this time its not from Boxing, its from MMA, Cody Garbrandt of UFC with a record of 11-2-0 both loss came from 1 fighter which is TJ Dillashaw. It may not earn the same amount of pay-per-views and gate receipts like Floyds and Conors fight but definitely this will attract a lot of interest from both UFC and Boxing fans.

1593  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keep All Coins in Hardware Wallet vs Separating Some in Exchanges/Other Wallets on: October 26, 2018, 02:20:20 AM
If you are a holder and no plans of spending or moving your Coins anywhere, its better to keep your Coins in a hardware wallet. But, if you are a trader or at least you plan to move your coins from time to time and exchange it to fiat, I would put that Coins in an exchange site that uses top of the line site security and offers 2FA. Moving your coins from hardware wallet to an exchange site sometimes are troublesome and may cost you money for the fees.
1594  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin worthy to buy ? right now? on: October 25, 2018, 11:59:39 PM
Price of Bitcoin as of today is still very good, its been moving sideways and its ready to breakout any moment. Binance top guy CZ says bull run ma happen any moment now specially we are almost done with October and events Black Friday a and Cyber Monday this November may help price of Bitcoin to surge a little.
1595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 25, 2018, 11:56:10 PM
There are those who accepts fee's to give advise on which coin or alts to buy and there are those who accepts investments so one can trade for them for a fee. I have met this kind of trader where you can invest $1,000 USD and interest is fix, so regardless if the market is bull or bear, you will get 8% per month. And there are those who just trade for themselves on a daily basis. They have a goal to reach and they consider that as their day job.
1596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Paying for education on: October 25, 2018, 11:50:03 PM
While there are free tutorials on Youtube about trading but nothing beats attending seminars or special classes about trading because there, you can ask questions, raise your concerns and the host can share his experience on trading, other attendees can also share their experience weather its bad or good.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS GAINING PROFIT A COMPETITION? on: October 23, 2018, 07:20:58 AM
Maybe if I am in the business of giving signals to my subscribers in telegram then its a competition because I need to show to them that what I am giving them is quality signals unlike other signal group. But, if I am just a trader and work for myself only, I don't need to compete, as long as I hit my goal and earn profits, I'm a happy camper.

For the record, I am not into the business of giving away signals. I hate those kind of groups actually.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Real Estate on: October 22, 2018, 08:21:42 AM
Many people believe real estate business is more profitable than investing bitcoin so they shift focus to investing in real estate business. I think bitcoin is more profitable especially in a time like this that the price is down you can buy in large quantities and sell when the price is up but real estate needs lot of capital. What do you think?
Can't compare those 2. Not everyone can have Bitcoin and can use Bitcoin. If one lives in a place where internet is limited and slow and energy is not sufficient, Bitcoin will be useless. While real estate can be owned by anyone literally. It can be passed on to your child or to anyone and its tangible that you don't need to worry about hackers that may take control of your property.

If you have a vacant lot, invest in apartments and have it rented out, every month that can give you an income and that also makes your vacant lot useful and make money from it. Have it leased out for long term that way you are secured that someone is going to occupy your property and pay for.

If you want best of both worlds, ask your tenants to pay you in Bitcoins.
1599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to get in and get out in Bear/Bull Markets on: October 22, 2018, 07:43:24 AM
If its bearish market and you are new and not familiar on the price movement then don't try trading yet unless you are equipped with knowledge on when to enter and exit. You are playing with real money even if you say that its your spare cash its still money. If its a bull market, try using tools like Bolinger Bands, Parabolic SAR and RSI. You can easily search in the internet how to use those 3.
1600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: October 19, 2018, 06:40:03 AM
I am still thinking of how someone will come up with a site on basketball ending game. The game is about the last digit of the team scores. Like example Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder score is 108 and 100. Winner is 8-0, if you picked that exact combination you win. I havent seen anyone trying that yet.
You have already come up with it, I think it would be an interesting game to play especially when people have already cope up with it. There could be simple rules to follow and how much is at stake limit. That's a great idea.
The problem that the house usually face in this kind of game is if the slots is not filled up. So lets say only 50% of the slots we're paid and when the game is over and someone was able to hit the correct number combination, house will pay using his own money since not all slots we're taken. It's going to be hard to refund all of them if slots are not filled.
