Yes, there should be no problem at all, you probably didn't find anything on google because nobody bothered to talk about it because it is so obvious? mind telling me what could go wrong mining behind a CGN?
on cgnat you cant do port forwarding and i thought for mining i needed port forwarding Not when mining using ASIC-based miners. You can assign ports to connect through but port-forwarding is not used. Considering this is a Bitcoin-only area that means ASIC hardware so - no problem.

Try running cgminer from a different directory as a separate instance just for the BF sticks?

If they were running fine until recently then you picked up a virus/malware from *somewhere* and how to fix still needs to be addressed (by others here).

Did you buy the miner (a long time ago) directly from Bitmain and this started recently or did you recently buy the s9 used? If the 1st then malware has infected it. If the 2nd - the miner was sold infected.
Either way IMMEDIATELY isolate it from your network as several of the mining malwares out there will search for more miners on the network to infect... Others here will have to explain how to fix the issue as I no longer run any hardware from Bitmain.

As a side note, whoever decided on calling it PoS no doubt knew that with very few exceptions, most of the altcoins developed for using it would be Pieces of Shi* destined to fail & fall by the wayside. Kudos to them for having a good sense of irony and humor

Someone lacking in google-fu? Just do a search using 'Bitcoin Proof of Work' or 'Bitcoin PoW' and you will get a ton of answers...
As for making money, mining and trading. Mining is only if you have good rates for electricity and a place to house the very loud and hot miners. Trading is if you do not have that.

My guess is that Win is treating the USB connections as com ports (COM2, COM3, etc). If it is, ja Winbloze has a nasty habit of not reusing vacant ports and reassigning them when a USB connection is changed. Our laser systems use 4 COM ports for monitoring and when I used to use RS232-USB converters that used to raise hell when even just unplugging a cable and then plugging it back into the same connector. Win would give them a new COM port and I'd have to either cnage the monitor program to use the new port or go into Win and fix it...
If that is the case you need to go into Device Manager and see what COM ports have been assigned and remove any not actually being used.

Yes though not as portrayed in movies or fiction and certainly not common in the everyday world. To me what is called 'magic' is simply just something that science cannot yet explain and by that token, science and magic are not mutually exclusive of each other. As for folks who spout things like The devil needs to be summoned by those who believe in them. They control these weak-minded people and continue to spread the worship of the devil among more young people. Portraying people performing magic ala` Harry Potter et al has nothing to do with 'doing the Devils work". Why do they equate anything they do not or cannot understand with the wholly human concept of a being called 'The Devil'?

Power supply big enough? The 921 requires at least a 1,800w PSU and a 2kw one is better. Only other thing I can think of is that the AUC3 is bad.
edit: Because the log does not even report the AUC, got a different USB cable? The cable must support data transfer and NOT be just a charging cable. Been a long time since anyone ran into this so took a while to remember that point.
Any progress on finding wassup with your machine?

Nope. It's just a minor annoyance thass easily fixed.

Mainly just posting to lose the Spanish subject line as seen on Index page

Perhaps, but only if you know what voltage the hash boards run at. These days that can be anywhere from 14vdc up to 23vdc.
One of the lines from the controller to PSU should be a control signal that adjusts the hash board vdc output to what the controller commands.

Have you tried any other pools and/or using the more typical port:3333 vs the other ports?

Apologies, quick question and excuse my ignorance. I am looking into solo mining so I was wondering if you what you've suggested is also good for solo mining in order to avoid duplicated nonce guesses?
Mining on this pool IS solo mining (KanoPool has that as well as an option). Solo mining just means that you all get all of the rewards and Tx fees minus 2% (-ck's fee) or minus 0.5% (Kano's fee) IF you find a block. If you mean solo mining to your own personal node - thass another story. AFAIK the more recent versions of Bitcoin Core (the node software) no longer supports that so the pool operators do some addition coding for it to work.

You are pretty much on-target with your results. The vast majority of shares a miner returns are far below required diff. At the risk of offending others here, here are some Help links from the pool I mine at: Worker difficultyMining detailsThere is other good info in the Help section there. The mining process is the same for all pools.

No. Assuming they are setup correctly all pools send unique work to all miners connected to them.

I am trying to set up the proxy configuration to rig two miners together Any particular reason why? Just point them both at the pool using the same payout address or miner name and let the pool itself handle things...

Sidehack does not do pre-orders. Personally, I have always felt that taking pre-orders without a proven product is a highly unethical practice. The miner is a work in progress and until his products are built, tested, and parts sourced for production he does not offer them for sale.

Since you are using the latest controller firmware you probably also need to update the latest miner firmware (MM). In the past I've found that they need to be matched to each other or the miner just does not run. Now as to where the MM firmware is on the Canaan site... Since they redid the site I've no idea
