1581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just can't get my eyes off my wallet. on: December 18, 2022, 08:09:14 AM
Every newbies have done the same thing, do not worry, as time goes by you will learn to leave your wallet alone, it's not a healthy lifestyle and since you plan to hold for a long term there is no reason to keep checking your wallet.

Altcoins and Bitcoin will keep losing value because we are in a bear market and a bear market is the most volatile stage for crypto currency, it is just what it is so keep holding and forget your wallet for now until the next Bitcoin halving is almost here.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My concern of security when using casino houses. on: December 18, 2022, 06:18:35 AM
I was never a fan of casinos and gambling den until the beginning of online casinos, I was so scared of going to a location to gamble, and not just about security alone but the insult that's been passed to gamblers in my city, they are treated like a losing gamblers and all the insults? Until they become the a winner.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 17, 2022, 06:31:01 PM
It is very hard to predict the market bottom, I've come to a conclusion to build up to three different crypto portfolio with 3,000$ each and the plan is every year till the bull market is here. I've built one this year and I don't plan on buying more until June 2023 and I will do the same by January 2024. There is no point trying to know when to buy in a bear market, just have an accumulation strategy in place.
1584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: problem with opening after driver update on: December 17, 2022, 12:28:49 PM
Your case looks like a hunter who became hunted, are you one of those people that looks for free wallet recovery seed or private keys online? If yes your PC will always be plagued with different types of trojans and malware.

Those players are waiting for people like you to download things like this on your PC so they can control your data.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: December 17, 2022, 09:35:35 AM
Kevin Oleary is after binance CEO, he wants a payback for what the binance did to FTX I believe the FUD won't be over any time sooner but the exchange will win unless if CZ is corrupted too.

See I don't want to rely on any human when it comes to money, they are the least of beings you can trust, I am not saying CZ is not clean but who knows? Judy make sure you don't keep money on any exchange big or small.
1586  Other / Off-topic / Do not rely on your OS security on: December 17, 2022, 07:42:35 AM
Do not rely on your windows 10 or 11 security, it's not very active like you believe, trust me, I am talking from an experience.

I used to update my windows security just to make sure my data are save but a day ago I battled with something new, I detect under my windows settings that memory integrity is off and the whole OS starts behaving abnormally.

Memory integrity prevents attacks from malicious code but once it's off you are vulnerable, to cut my story short I found out that my PC is infected with Adware, I scanned the whole PC but windows security still tells me that everything is normal.

I used a premium adware/malware software I found three adware trojan on my PC, one has something to do with crypto hijack and the other two are like driver something, I am a very careful user and this still happens, this is why I don't use my PC to store crypto.
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: December 16, 2022, 07:39:39 PM
I don't see paper money going away any time sooner, in the near future central bank and co will still use paper money even if digital currencies have taken over the world, can't you see that government can't take control over crypto that's why the only option they have is CBDC and I doubt it will be a success in time.
1588  Other / Beginners & Help / Your ideas are strictly needy on: December 16, 2022, 06:04:11 PM
If you have ever used a Bitcoin ATM before I need your attention, I want to know more about the installation, I have a blood brother who is into politics and we ve talked a lot about bringing crypto adoption to my people, my brother and I are thinking of installing an Bitcoin ATM machine for a start and see how it goes.

Also in the upcoming election if he wins he plan to add many more, I want to know if this is a good plan for a State with just a million people, I am also looking for a crypto coin that's less affordable that I can send to people just to teach them how to make transaction using their wallets.

I know security comes first but I just want to be prepared. I am starting this journey after Christmas. Any information and ideas are welcome
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 16, 2022, 05:26:16 PM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet? I don't want to take bet on Mike Tyson or Joshua I want gaming by one self, I believe this is less dependant on Luck, this requires more skill than mere luck.
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / XRP future looks shaky and uncertain on: December 16, 2022, 07:13:31 AM
I am sorry if this hurts XRP fans and Armies on here

I think XRP will be useless in future because there won't be any need for it's existence, it won't be needed as a bridge to converting crypto coins or currencies once Fiat moves to CBDC finally. Think about it and if you think that I am wrong do drop your reason why.

The very threat to CBDC is XRP for me, not BTC.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ive throw money away on: December 16, 2022, 06:08:01 AM
Yes I have learnt my lesson and it's not going to happen again, I have contacted the team and they gave me a form to fill with three video requirements, Tx hash and my full name written on a piece of paper with my signature on it, still waiting for their final move

Thanks for your concerns everyone.
That's good news. Do not worry; after providing the sufficient details that they requested, they will return the funds to you, but I hope you will not repeat your mistake on any other exchange platform. Before you send your money to any of the exchange platforms, you must review their old and recent announcements on their blog, Twitter, Telegram channel, and other social sites because they publish important announcements such as the listing or delisting of currencies and the like. Huobi support team is a distinguished team that responds quickly to customer inquiries and provides quick solutions to them, so you have to wait for the action that they will take with you, good luck.
My mistake, I must have missed the information about the delisting of BSC-bep20 deposits, it's all in the past now as I got my refund yesterday evening, I was informed to keep an eye on my balance so I checked my Huobi spot balance and saw my 200$ balance in USDT.

There it is, problem solved, thanks for all your concern everyone, I will close this thread now.
1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 15, 2022, 06:23:19 PM
You are right, about 99% of projects that promised high returns always end up a scam but one project proved me wrong two years ago, that's HEX, the learn of the day is whenever a project promised high returns it won't cost a thing to just check the project out first.

The promised returns might be on a fact about how rare the project utility is, those who knows how HEX works will understand better.

Do not confuse this with high APY and insane daily returns that some projects promises, I am only talking about good utilities only.
1593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptosino Avoid!!! on: December 15, 2022, 04:21:47 PM
You guys really need to stop using gambling platforms that are less popular, they can decide to do anyhow with their customers, they also have less reputation, this mean they can decide to close down at any time that's why bigger gambling platforms are better and more reliable.
1594  Other / Archival / Re: Harsh crypto winter for all categories of crypto users on: December 15, 2022, 11:03:15 AM
Few years back I was one of those that kept saying that Bitcoin can't do everything on it's own but honestly, today it doesn't matter, the most important part of crypto existence is digital money and decentralised, government free world and Bitcoin have already accomplished all this..

Yes today's developers are bad mouthing Bitcoin saying a project is faster and better, but what is the point?

I believe that 2023 will bring even more heart breaking recession and many people wont be prepared for it, I've stopped by coins right now until mid of 2023 to see what happens.
1595  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is storing sensitive data on blockchain a wise idea? on: December 15, 2022, 08:15:53 AM
If you have any important data that you want to store off public it's safer to keep them to yourself in an offline manner, storing of data on blockchain may not be completely safe because breaches can still happen, hackers can still find a way around blockchain security.

Keep your sensitive data the same way you keep your wallet recovery seed.
1596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: December 15, 2022, 07:09:41 AM
Something is not adding up, Kevin O. Leary who also lost millions on the FTX crash is now after Binance CEO saying that CZ is responsible for the FTX fate, like CZ did it intentional and if CZ was silent the whole thing would have go on and become a success? I am quite lost with this man aim right now.

I think Kevin O. Leary is responsible for the Binance massive FUD withdrawal that took place days ago, he really wants to hurt Binance exchange by all means.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Dogecoin could fail in the future on: December 14, 2022, 07:42:25 PM
Dogecoin gained popularity due to its low cost as well as its welcoming community. Its community of users behind Dogecoin is involved on various social platforms, and it gained popularity specifically from Reddit.

Doge could fail because -
Dogecoin could fail in the near future due to its outdated blockchain technology. The Dogecoin blockchain is built on the Litecoin blockchain, which is based on Bitcoin's Blockchain.
One of the main issues with old blockchains is that they're not scalable. They are unable to manage large volumes of transactions without slowing down or mistakes.

Investors advice on investing in Dogecoin now as this is being the best time to purchase doge. Dogecoin prices are expected to rise as we approach the annual close. The increase in price fluctuations may eventually assist the price to soar and as per Coinpedia doge price prediction it will close the year at $0.118.

Are these cons going to result in dogecoin price failing or Elon Musk support for it make this coin price increase?

Dogecoin has no outdated blockchain, if you can judge dogecoin this way then it's same thing for Bitcoin and every first crypto projects like Litecoin etc.

Dogecoin works very well as intended thats why we love it, low gas fee and a more reliable blockchain, a scam free compared to new crypto projects nowadays.

A crypto project will only die if people stop supporting it, what makes crypto projects strong is the love of the community and Dogecoin has this big community love behind it.
1598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For them it's always about the money on: December 14, 2022, 07:07:55 PM
It's always about the money and it will always be like this forever, you expect people to work for other people for free? Anyone that created a Youtube channel tends to make money by creating content in the first place, do not fool yourself.

YouTubers are good at saying that they aren't paid to shill a project but it's a lie, don't expect them to come clean when it comes to money.
1599  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: December 14, 2022, 10:28:03 AM
Crypto newbies can get confused with the web 3 implementation on gambling platforms , thinking the experience will be different but later they will realize that it's still the same old online gambling ways, nothing new, they will learn their lessons.

There are so many new crypto project that attached Web 3 and Metaverse to their name, it's all for the advertising sake, most won't deliver anything new and some will leave the aim half way.
1600  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: December 14, 2022, 07:20:18 AM
Zero KYC doesn't mean a better experience and security, some people are talking about much more interest in decentralized gambling but they have forgotten that experience is what matters. Some online casinos can take advantage of their users all in the name of been decentralised.

Don't forget that decentralised have zero regulations and that's freedom for criminals that pretend to be good people.
