1581  Economy / Economics / Re: Why market cap is irrelevant on: August 10, 2017, 10:44:11 PM
~snipped
And this should scare the shit out of people who invested in coins based on their rank on coinmarketcap.
I won't use the word scare, but EXACTLY those who invested in coins based on market cap will be the one's to be affected. I definitely not belong to them and honestly didn't even check those market cap numbers when deciding whether to invest in coin or not. When it comes to trading I'm more on checking if the market is active on a specific exchange (I'm more on doing short trades that's why).
1582  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHUB.io || +Microwallet (8 coins) ||+Dice & +Jackpot||+Games||+Exchange on: August 10, 2017, 08:49:08 PM
I try to open FaucetHub but I get only this message: Secure Connection Failed - An error occurred during a connection to faucethub.io. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

This started yesterday. I get the same message.
I have also tried from my husband's computer - there, the site is blocked by McAfee.

Until they solve their problem, I have stopped using any faucet that sends directly to FaucetHUB. I use only the ones where I can accumulate.
When FaucetHUB has been in maintenance mode, I have lost lots of satoshi  Angry
I hope we can hear an update from mexicantarget soon. I thought the problem just occurred today, until I read your post. The site was blocked by malwarebytes as well, here in my end. Looking forward to a quick fix

1583  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, the currency for remittances and international cooperation on: August 10, 2017, 03:06:54 PM

Adv. Online wallet:
- Convenient kasi sila na mag stake para sayo, hindi required na mag online ka everyday

DisAdv. Online wallet:
- Naka lock yung pesobit mo, meaning hindi mo pwede iwithdraw anytime, kailangan mo muna tapusin yung staking period which is 30 days.

Adv. Windows wallet
- Pwede ka mag withdraw anytime
- The more na online ka, more stake?

DisAdv.
- Kapag hindi nakabukas yung wallet at di connected sa internet, walang stake
1584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: August 10, 2017, 02:04:33 PM
Where can i get the latest icobid wallet? And how to set it up? I'm having an old version and it is not syncing my wallet. Somebody help me out with this one, kindly.
Snipped and quoted from the main post. You can now download and install the latest wallet suitable for your device (Windows, Mac, Linux). Instructions were written well below as well. Just be sure to back up your wallet.dat before deleting the old icob folder or else you'll lose your coins.

For anyone who is running an old version wallet please follow this guide:

Quote

- Please encrypt (optional) and back up your wallet.
- Open Roaming folder with this search: %appdata%
- Delete ICOBID folder
- Run new wallet
- Restore your wallet with the backup file
+ Copy your backup file (yourbackupfile.dat) to ICOBID folder on Roaming
     + Delete file wallet.dat
     + Rename yourbackupfile.dat into wallet.dat
     + Reopen the wallet

1585  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SatoshiDirect.com Exchange Bitcoins in 3 Clicks, Permanent & Reusable Addresses! on: August 09, 2017, 11:03:26 PM
Where do you base your rates? It would be better if the exchange rates are listed there. I woudn't exchange coins if I don't know how much I will get, regardless if it's an easy transaction or not. Also are you planning to add more coins? You have limited on the list. Also, you don't have support page on the site, what if the user encountered a problem? Just incase
1586  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: RPG-Strategy + PvP GAME with BTC and other Crypto Currencies on: August 09, 2017, 01:51:35 PM
I visited your site, planning to try the game and on the registration I noticed that the password isn't hidden. For me it's important especially if someone is registering in a public place, please use <input type="password">  on your code.

Also, It took a bit long to load for every click, I wonder if it is on my connection? You have a cool site by the way.
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: A beginner's guide for investing in Bitcoin & Altcoins on: August 09, 2017, 11:43:43 AM
Nice for sharing your story and insight. I think it's a good idea if you put some general reference links too since information is limited to your experience. For example, put something like "if you want to know more about other wallets: check https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet"

Good luck!

Pretty good point from pinkflower. Why top 20, not more or less, top 10 or 30 maybe? I mean, the rank is constantly changing, even the market cap and there's always a risk on every investment. I honestly don't check the rank of the coins, doesn't matter to me really as long as the project looks good & has a potential, that's okay.
1588  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another dice site - Dice That Makes You Poor (not really) on: August 08, 2017, 01:41:08 PM

Click here to go to Dice That Makes You Poor

Features:
  • Doesn't make you poor
Seems that your statement contradict each other. LOL, are players getting poor or not? I accessed on mobile as well and it's not responsive (understandable, as you've said it was done in 5hrs). Good thing that Minimum deposit/withdrawal and fee were noted on the page.

Aside from being bored, what else is/are your reason(s) in making the site? Do you have long term plans for this or seriously none?
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: August 07, 2017, 10:42:55 PM
Is there something wrong with the windows desktop wallet (latest version)? I've been using it for weeks now but today Malwarebytes blocked it and detected it as malicious. The wallet seems to work and stake, it's just that being detected is unusual (1st time to be honest). Does anyone else noticed the same?

1590  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 07, 2017, 05:47:52 PM
Walang bang physical office ang coins.ph na pwedeng puntahan lalo na pag may gusto elevate na issue. Puro via online at calls lang ba sila pwede ma contact?
Meron silang physical office : https://coins.ph/contact
Ano yung issue na mapapapunta ka pa sa office nila? Hindi na ba kaya mahelp sa online support? Kasi based on my experience mabilis naman sila magreply sa ticket, ewan ko na lang kapag about sa pagka ban o disable ng account

1591  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Arbitrad.com | BTC Auto arbitrage trading! on: August 07, 2017, 02:19:11 PM
The idea is nice. Would see how legit this is when someone gives a feedback, I saw 3 arbitrage operations still in progress as of now. By the way, how much is the fee for withdrawal? It wasn't mentioned in your FAQ.
1592  Economy / Gambling / Re: [PRE-ANN][Đice.IM]Ethereum-based Đapp|House Edge 0.5%|Bug Bounty on: August 06, 2017, 11:26:20 PM
Friendly UI indeed. The site is good, can change the theme as well. Not sure if I just missed it but I noticed that you don't have your Terms of Service (TOS), I think you should work on that since players will look for it (aside from terms of use pop up page). Also, chatbox is a good add on.

PS. I neither have Mist browser nor Metamask installed on mobile so I'm not sure if I'm seeing all the features of the site.
1593  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex, Bitfinex, Bittrex... completely full of problems on: August 06, 2017, 01:18:26 PM
~snipped

The majority of complaints is basically poloniex
Yes I agree. Bittrex do have negative feedbacks too but not as much as Polo (based on topics created here in the forum). Complaints about Polo aren't just connectivity issue, support, deposits and withdrawals, there are times that placing and cancelling orders aren't working fine as well.
1594  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: **** WARNING **** Fake Electrum binaries in the wild at electrum-wallet.com on: August 06, 2017, 12:47:03 AM
That's why I rather type the URL myself (if you know it) rather than googling it. Also, it is recommended to have an Anti Virus with web protection, that will surely detect a malicious website (I have malwarebytes here in my end). Let's be extra careful and responsible to all our actions.

They are not active in their thread here, but they do inform their users through social media, so better follow their twitter or slack for the updates.
1596  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: • HELP • HOW TO WITHDRAW MY BITCOINS IN LIVECOIN.NET on: August 03, 2017, 10:59:48 PM
Hello. I have an account there and as far as I can see, BTC Wallet in livecoin.net is currently offline or in maintenance status, I think you should wait until it becomes Wallet online to proceed with your withdrawal. Voucher is used when you want to transfer money to another user without exchange сommission, see here for reference https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1428405.msg14469034#msg14469034

So your site seems to be an escrow for payment? It would be hard since a buyer doesn't have the assurance that the product will be delivered to him, your site isn't responsible for that since it wasn't mentioned there, right? Security will be a big issue.

Just like your example, after I pay, how am I be so sure that the coffee will be delivered? Where do the coffee coming from?

1. Your english grammar is so strange. where you from?
I am from Republic fo korea. send some bitcoin to upgrade my english skill.
Yes, I saw some grammatically incorrect phrase/sentence. I don't think it's a good idea to demand bitcoin just to improve your english skills. I mean if you really want to offer a service, you are responsible with the things like that.

Good luck!
Where did you get the quotes from ? It appears you are asking the question and answering yourself. How do you know the owner is from the Republic of Korea as we do not see him saying anywhere ?
And where did you find the op asking for coffee to improve his English? Did you speak with the owner in Private conversation and quoting them?
First quote, came from his main post itself. Second quote, came from the website. Questions were asked to clarify the information given. I knew he was from Korea because I visited and read the website's contents. Is there any quote saying OP was asking for a coffee to improve his english skills? He's asking for bitcoin and not coffee. Lastly, no, I didn't have any Private conversation with OP.

It's so obvious that you didn't bother visiting the site, oh and maybe even reading the main post & mine carefully. Please do so next time, a friendly reminder. I would like to give you a reference from the site but unfortunately I can't because I was prompt with a privacy error.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 177 LTC , 11000 GNT , 20+ ETH stolen from my wallet on: August 02, 2017, 10:59:30 PM
I have checked all with AVG and has no virus in scan report,I had bought ltc at 0.0165 btc per ltc , and eth at 0.09+ btc per eth, cumulatively i am in huge loss and it is not a lesson for me but for others too, remember never boast about your money any where especially on forums and community.
I really appreciate your advice mr legendary member but now i am in sans.
You've shared the amount you have, but never shared your address nor any info about the wallet here in bitcointalk.org (as I've seen on your previous posts). Have you shared it somewhere else? It's really safer to keep things like this in private, sorry for your loss.

Still, anti malware software is recommended AVG might not detect all.

Two things, first I have become a hero member and I have updated my signature. And second, I did receive payment in my account but I have not withdraw it yet, but did someone noticed that the payment instead of being credited on the main balance now it was on the Lossback Balance, I wonder if I’m the only one or if this is the new way in which we are going to receive our payments from now on.
Mine was credited on my main balance and seems that so far you're the only one stated about receiving it on Lossback Balance. I haven't heard about that even before, maybe you should pm BetcoinCasino.

Anyway, Thank you Betcoin & manager for the payment!
