1581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do winning and losing gamblers have different personalities or habits? on: February 24, 2017, 03:02:33 AM
There aren't winning gamblers, there is only one time in their gambling when they won over and over. So difference is that when you win, doesn't matter if you are looser in past, happy face on both side is same. So what's about their personalities, it absolutely depends on person because there are one types which continues normally and anothers are trying to gamble more and more until they lost everything.
This statement is completely false, sure there are winning gamblers. People who've won the lottery and never gamble again after that are winning gamblers.
Sure, the majority of gamblers lose in the long term, but there are also some winners, even in the long term.

To answer OP's question, in certain skill based gambling games, winning players do have different personalities and habits than losing players. I'm thinking of poker players and people who do sportsbetting professionally.

It is all depend on skills and luck. If you luck one of these two, you will surely lose and will not be happy anymore. Of course, controlling emotions is part of the skilled acquired.

I agree, it just depends on every player's luck and not really on personality. Well we have to have some expert conduct a thorough study on the psychological behavior of every gambler or more or lease a huge number of gamblers that loses and wins. But, in my opinion, attitude or personally does not affect your luck.
1582  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDice.pw - Claim your faucet and start betting now! Bonus : 0.00001BTC on: February 24, 2017, 02:56:43 AM
On a x2 payout the profit should show the 273 satoshi that was wagered. Getting your money back is not profit.

yeah, thanks! this has been fixed

Dont you understand what he is talking about "getting your money back is not profit" means what you have to show under the profit is a pure amount of the profit only. Lets say I bet 100 sat on 2x, if I win so the profit should be shown as 100satoshi instead of 200satoshi (bet + profit)
So it is not fixed.

Yeah, it should show a positive/green value if they win and only showing winnings. Like they said, assuming we bet 100 and the multiplier is x2, it should show

+100

and when it loses it should show something like

-100

I hope this enlightens the owner.

1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: February 24, 2017, 02:34:00 AM
Are there any regulations or oversight for bitcoin casinos? I think for other online casinos where you have to deposit genuine money, there are some government regulations regulating these casinos. How about bitcoin casinos?

If the casino are registered then there could be precautions and regulations the casinos should be watching over. Like anti-money laundering and know-your-customers policies in place in most countries where gambling and casinos are allowed. But looking at the current casinos we see here, they don't even declare if they are registered.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: February 24, 2017, 02:26:47 AM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

Yes of course, you must have a limitation to your bankroll while doing gamble in the game, whether you win or loss once the limits has been reach then stop, do it on the next day again.

limitation can help us to avoid getting more loss in gambling games so we still have money for another playing and we should obey our rule and we should leave the sites as soon as possible. i am practicing to use limitation so far and i think its works fine for me and i hope i can continue doing this so i can controlled myself in gambling games.
Yeah, that's an effective strategy especially when you are just getting started in gambling. It could make your experience a lot better when you use that kind of strategy when gambling. If you control yourself, you could make a lot of profit, even if it's just small amounts. Just be satisfied with what you have in order to not be greedy.

That's kind of conflicting what you said. "You could make a lot of profit" then you said "even if it's just small amounts" Well to reconcile what you said, probably what you meant is to earn small portions and in the long run you'll profit big time. Though in gambling there is no guarantee you will profit. Most of the time what you earn is also what you lose.
1585  Economy / Gambling / Re: █★☆★Lunarbets.eu - New and Improved Website! ★☆★█ on: February 24, 2017, 01:33:45 AM
For those of you who are wondering about our upcoming Lunar Coins System, here are some pieces of information. But we'll keep most of its details still secret.

1. Lunar Coins System is not an altcoin. It is Lunarbets' own soft currency.
2. It's going to make your Lunarbets experience more rewarding! Simply put, even just depositing BTC will be rewarded.

You have a better idea to start your altcoin system for your casino but currently not much people know about your site as you need to advertise it everywhere at least start a signature campaign on this forum so people will start to take more interest in your site and after that you will get a community for your coin.

Hi Colt22,

Yea we're planning on advertising and the marketing strategy. Also, we consider trying out that signature campaign everybody is talking about.

Signature campaign is one of the most common way here to promote.
still you need to consider some factors regarding this like who will be the CM of this campaign of yours...

Btw you rewarding system have the same name with an alt coin, as you already know.
so maybe you have to "create" a new name for your system, to avoid any misunderstanding... Wink

Yes, we are still looking for the best CM. As of now, there were CMs who gave their proposals.

That's great that you guys are looking to seriously advertise and market your gambling site. I think this is a good way of promoting the site, there are quite a lot of gamblers here on the forum and a signature campaign will likely boost the number of players you will get. Anyway, I hope you get more players. I see you site's UI and it looks promising.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about bonuses on btc casino ? on: February 24, 2017, 01:06:50 AM
All the bonuses I've seen are shit.

Well, that is for most part correct assumption.

Usually casino promotions are tailored to be only bait, if you read ToS thoroughly, all of a sudden realization will struck you, that withdrawing bonus money is near impossible.
Not to mention that you are limited to certain games, can't participate in lucky hours or some other ridiculous rules. So no, better to play with your own money and win fair and square.

Sometimes there are really good straightforward promotions. But they are extremely rare to find.
The best promotion I ever seen: lottery during Euro 2016 on Sportsbet.io.

I agree with the statement though. I have never really gotten a good promotion that really pays their players. Usually I just forget about it since I know in my mind that there is no way that I'll get it. It's even better to just watch the games and rounds section here, people have won more bitcoins there than the casinos' regular promotions like deposit bonuses.
1587  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ BitBox - Run your own BITCOIN GAMBLING SITE ★★★ on: February 24, 2017, 12:36:44 AM
Hi,

Quick explanation. We had a bug report today (first time in 3 years) on crash game. It will be fixed within few hours.

Bitcoins from your bankroll can't be stolen because we use hot & cold wallet + all withdrawals have to be approved. The user which had a 10BTC win started with 0.00001BTC and was intentinaly exploiting the site and of course that client is not obligated to payout that.

for how long are you offering the crash game? 3 years?

hot wallets were very often hacked as far as I know so why do you think yours cant be hacked and be stolen?

I would anyway feel only good with manual withdrawals

Crash game has been added 2 months ago, to be honest, people don't play crash that much, 90% of players play dice. We have manual withdrawals, yes.

Yes it is better to have a manual method of withdrawing, but I think it would be best to still have an automated one for small witdrawals within a specified range of amounts that the owner can set. How about security on this platform, what measures does it implement to prevent cheating? Can an owner determine if the site is being cheated?

1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: February 23, 2017, 05:42:54 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.
Analysis on gambling is need when you are playing on dice game you can see the graph and the patern of your lose and you can create new strategies by looking on that, when you already lose 6 straight try to make 1 satoshi bet and then if that lose all in your coins and you will win. I experience this everytime i play gambling. But be careful play and lose what you can afford to lose.
Well you still wouldn't know what the results would be though. Analyzing these graphs and history for dice really won't remove the fact that the results are still random and that removes all benefits of us analyzing those factors. For analysis, i think there are games that would allow you to gain advantage like betting on sports and some card games. For dice, i think what needs to be analyzed is not the game itself but how you'll play your bankroll

Analysis doesn't really work on fixed chances kind of games like dice, roulette, slots, and other casinos games. Analysis will have to be explicit reserved to sports betting or somewhere where analysis could give you an edge. But in dice games or similar games, analysis would just yield you the same results if you analyze it.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 23, 2017, 05:37:48 PM
I choose casino which has a good game play and offer a lot of events to join in and of course the higher chances to win. I consider the latest features on the site it should be updated and less ads so it is not irritating. I want also the compatibility using mobile mode.
yes people always try to choose such casinos where they have good facilities and opportunities to make more money, people try to avoid such casinos who are giving more edge to their casinos. in fact most of the casinos are running their casino on house edge and that is the reason people try to avoid these casino. for running a casino successfully the owner should try to give preference to their customers and not to get all the edge.
They put house edge to improve the chances that they will earn. Because without it they would statistically be really having the same luck as the gamblers. That 1% house edge doesn't look big at first, but statistically with an infinite amount of games, that 1% would be a gold mine for casinos. It would spell the life and death of casinos without it.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 23, 2017, 05:30:10 PM
No gambling is for addiction only this gambling is not required for you to become rich because it reflects only in addiction. Addiction is for the player who are losing.

Always win or always lose, winner or loser, Gambling is addictive game that can affect anyone. No matter you always win or always lose, if you play in a long time, you get addicted. When you win kept playing and eventually difficult to be separated. When you lose you continue to play out of curiosity, to finally win and want to win again until the addiction.

I don't think this applies to everyone though. I've been gambling for a long time already and i don't feel the urge to continue gambling and waste a lot of my time doing it. Addiction comes to those people who i think, doesn't know how to determine which things they should prioritize. People who get lost when they're enjoying what they're doing. Not all people are like that though.

I think so too. What experience as taught me is that gambling is not something to make a living out of. You'll just go broke in the next few hours trying to become rich from gambling. Then after that you'll get addicted to it, because you will always think that you will get back your loses. In the end you just lose more money. Gambling activities should be kept to a minimum, that is my rule.
1592  Economy / Gambling / Re: ODD - EVEN win 198% | Provably | House edge 1% on: February 23, 2017, 05:19:56 PM
Website cant be reached and OP is not active anymore after getting many negative trust, Is it gone finally? If so, then it is a good news but I'm sure he will come back with another new sites. Lets see what will he offer in the near future, will it be something fishy as what he did before?

well he had negative trust for all the time he ran this website so I don't think it is the real case, either he is being constantly ddossed or he just decided to run away for some reason...

Yeah. seems like the guy finally gave up. Kind off feeling bad for the guy, he really did a lot of shitty work to deserve those negative ratings on him. LOL. Anyway, glad that the site is now gone and the bitcoin and forum is a little bit safe for the new comers and members of the forum who don't know about his site. Good riddance, I would say.
1593  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Betcoin.ag review on: February 23, 2017, 05:13:40 PM
Excellent review. We need more community reviews like this one.

On Betcoin.ag, I think the casino is shitty.

LOL. Great way to describe it for sure. Shitty is the best one I can think of too. They still have that scam accusation and still try to promote their website here on the forums. Maybe they are just trying to get back what they spent on the creation of the website and looking to exit once they get to earn enough to disappear into the Bahamas.
1594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin RPS | Earn bitcoins by playing rock paper scissors on: February 23, 2017, 05:09:37 PM
It is great to see that OP is very active in improving his site. He responds to all the messages left here and that he ensures that every concern is taken cared off. Great for the site to have someone like you. Looking forward to your site becoming one of the competing casinos around here. Good luck OP.

1597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You can easily predict Btc/usd prices direction. on: February 23, 2017, 01:23:27 PM
I have find out, that bitcoin prices is highly predictable by used trend line technical analysis on 4 hours charts for day traders. Though fundamental issue do move the market against it but not regularly. Trading is a very risky business and you should not venture into it without adequate knowledge on how it works.
The price of bitcoin moves regularly when it will increase and decrease the more you risk on exchange the more profit you will make but make sure that you can afford to lose, i just don't predict it once somebody sold high amount of bitcoin i just sold mine. Easy as that i don't want to decrease coins before sell mine.

Indeed, prices go up and down, probably OP really was just lucky predicting the trend. Trends are just a marker or an indicator that we could use as a tool for our decision, but the trends usually don't get followed, there are too much variables that influences the prices of bitcoins. So I really think we can really say for sure we know how prices will move.
1598  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how to get new referrals? on: February 22, 2017, 02:17:22 PM
Hi,

how to get new referrals to hashflare?

You'll have to advertise your affliliate/referral links. It takes a whole lot of work to do this especially if you don't have the tools. To effectively do this, you'll have to have some or all of the following:

1. Facebook, twitter, instagram, any other social media with a lot of real followers/friends.
2. A blog with a lot of traffic.
3. A lot of friends that will blindly trust you.
4. Generally anything that can make people click the link and buy from hashflare.
1599  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin start to price increase? on: February 22, 2017, 01:46:36 PM
Bitcoin prices have been increasing since it was founded in 2009. It has not dropped back to the prices back then. The prices is primarily driven by supply and demand and not really anything else. If people want to buy bitcoin at that price and people want to sell at the same price, that what determines the prices.
1600  Economy / Speculation / Re: ladies and gentlemen we are above $1100 now! on: February 22, 2017, 01:28:46 PM
It's great to see the prices are this high, and I really hope it continues to grow as this is great news for everybody using bitcoins. I really think that it will continue to rise up till $1,500 and we'll see another correction from there. After that probably we will see that new milestone of $2,000.
Yes it seems so, prices continue to skyrocket, if we sell might have been lucky, but I recommend to be patient and hold because the price could still rise again. If this month the price never drop $1,000, I'm sure the price will reach $1,500 not more a month later.

I'm pretty confident that we'll reach $1500 sometime before the ETF decision is finalized. After that, I hope we still go up regardless of ETF results.

Yeah, I think so too. If it does get approved, I think we'll see the moon and the prices will totally skyrocket. Though, we can't really predict how much it will affect the activity and popularity of bitcoin, it will always be welcome news for use bitcoin holders and users. I really hope it does have a positive effect.
