1581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Finally got my boss to pay me in Bitcoin on: December 20, 2022, 10:13:35 AM
Hello everyone I am very excited today as finally my boss has agreed to pay in Bitcoin. After losing at my first attempt in Cryptocurrency as I thought that wealth falls like rain here I was brought back to reality with losses I got a little job on the side although a small amount paying job I think it is okay for me and I can get back on my feet.

Ever since I started working I have always been talking to my boss and coworkers about Cryptocurrency and after persisting they started to give me listening ears, I made sure to also tell them my experience and made sure they got my picture.

Along the line my boss got very much interested in cryptocurrency especially in Bitcoin. Assisted him in creating his Bitcoin wallet and taught him all I could, it surprised me when he finally accepted to pay me in Bitcoin and has giving it as an option to other workers, it's a big joy for me and I believe they are also talking about cryptocurrency to their friends and family too, just got my first payment in Bitcoin this evening.

Good story to read but we are all wondering what are those information you tell to your boss to convince him to pay you up using bitcoin only. Are you the only one who get paid with it? or your co-workers are also get paid with this?

I have doubt about this story if you are the only one who get paid on Bitcoin only since imagine how hassle for your employer to buy bitcoins and pay it to your personal wallet which might cost some time and $ to him.
1582  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 18, 2022, 11:27:31 AM

They are very active before but when they reach the peak of exposure, they stop doing this and even the art contest is not a monthly contest anymore. Roobet is doing great with this art contest though, there are also participants who are submitting an art work from their relatives so maybe, you can also do this if you really want to participate on Roobet art contest.

I wish they would launch some more promotions on this forum as they did before as it was always fun to participate. You had casino promotions (reach a certain multiplier on a game), sports promotions (predict the final score of matches), guess the slot, ...
Yes I remember these promotions, it's really fun to participate. My favorite is guess the slot, I spent time searching to guess the slot correctly but often i'm not lucky and not as good as others. I won only once but still it's worth the time. Guess the total wager is also good. I hope they consider starting these promotions (aside from the art contest) again since it has positive influence to their platform.

That is the most challenging game I've ever seen since you really need to spend time browse to see if it match on the clue given. And It's really fun to see many people didn't get the answer immediately then the next clue came which add to the excitement.

Maybe Roobet should think about relaunching this game again since provably many forum users seek for another fun thing to participate on.
1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: December 17, 2022, 11:18:07 PM
Gambling site is not a bank, nor it is an exchange. Most gamblers, more than 90% of them, deposit on a gambling platform only what they can afford to lose. They are not like "The more money I invest in it, the more profit I will get." Only sick people think that way, only so called "problem gamblers" see gambling as some sort of a business, and, fortunately, there's less than 10% of them among gamblers. So, can it be mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money to those people, to problem gamblers? I don't think so. Those people need professional medical treatment rather than "proof of money", something that will likely only worsen their condition.
That is true for some but I think there are some who bets more than what they can afford because this is gambling man and it is addicting or someone will get annoyed when they lose so they will try to deposit again in the hopes of recovery. Also there are gambling sites that can work like a bank or an exchange where they allow gamblers to invest money on them.

If you are a gambler whose aim is to make profit, you believe that the more capital you have the more your chances of winning because you can be able to spin more and there are cases where big multipliers came out the longer you play the game. This is why showing proof of money is necessary.

This is a horrible approach to gambling, and I would advise strongly against it. Although it is true that the higher your bets, the more you can win, we shouldn't forget that we are always a bit more likely to lose. That is why we should never risk more than we can afford to lose, no matter how big our imaginary potential rewards can be.

As for the "showing proof of money", I think only governmental regulators can say if that "proof" is really a proof. Regular folks like us can be easily fooled.

Everything you say is very true, also what you say at first is very true, I do not think that depositing money in a casino can be seen as an investment, it is obviously the money that we are willing to lose, it is much more likely to lose it than win it, that is something that no one can deny, we are fighting against the advantage that the casino has plus the advantage that the game has, which is a system that is difficult to win, only touches of luck is what can be taken advantage of, this is what We must be very careful in Ceuna, where there are platforms with few investment options, perhaps with those that have tokens, but that is an investment that is made in the very, very long term.

Deposit we've made on Casinos can't be connected with investment. When you gamble you have the chance to win/loss whereas with investment you'll experience good return/loss, but it is possible to recover the capital if the user have got the ability to hold. The same isn't possible with gambling.

Lost is lost, and we need to make further deposit which is quite risky. Luck plays major part with gambling as well as with investment. So, when we find ourselves lucky it is good to make use of the opportunity and try to make an exit for that time period.

The money we deposit on casino is the money we intend to lose but I don't know for what other think about it since maybe some newbie think that this is investment money where they can multiply their asset and which is bad mindset since in gambling we all know that this is pure luck especially if we are dealing in luck based games.
1584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2022, 03:10:00 PM
The current price of Bitcoin is hovering around $18000. Just pumped a bit today. Bitcoin price has been using $1700 as support for the past few days.
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
What do you think about this?
Forget about the bottom price as it never tells yet. The correction will continue unless the bear season end but as we are in this current situation, nobody knows if we already pass the bottom price or if it is still coming.
However, I was very optimistic that the market price will be going to recover. We are moving in an uptrend position making its way to $20k and hopefully, this would happen before the year ended. Better have some OP, just take this opportunity before it is gone.

The bottom we are seeking is yet hard to determine so I guess its just a waste of time if you wait for this.to come and didn't spend any amount yo take advantage of the dump. Much better if we focus on current happenings since trading this from time to time is much really advisable since we can earn huge if we are careful on where we put our money.
1585  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 17, 2022, 10:34:31 AM
Don't ever get carried away with current money which we think is a lot, there have been many stories when people had a lot of money and then went bankrupt, the thing they do is waste money in vain never thinking about investing so when the money runs out they regret it and this is already late.

Some of them got bankrupt because they do wrong decision maybe on their investment and also with their spendings. If they could just think about spreading their wealth on good investment and hire a professionals to help them with their finances maybe they can save from getting bankrupt.

People need to know that money is temporary and if they are not careful on what they do with it they could lose everything they had.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 16, 2022, 10:47:25 PM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet? I don't want to take bet on Mike Tyson or Joshua I want gaming by one self, I believe this is less dependant on Luck, this requires more skill than mere luck.

Could possibly happen if some casino will see a demand towards this suggestion but if this will not create any noise maybe we can't see this added. And none of casino I see implement this so I guess there's slim chances for now that it could happen since so far what people enjoy are those traditional casino games and sports betting.
1587  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Take your bitcoin out of binance on: December 16, 2022, 12:03:57 PM
Even if it's not for the Fuds that Binance faces, we shouldn't leave our money at all exchanges, not just finance. To be fair, it is not easy for us to completely stop or boycott all centralized exchanges, and in my opinion impossible, we still need them to some extent. Nevertheless, with what is happening, bad things can happen and that's why we should protect our assets first before we think about making profits. I will pause trading and focus on protecting my assets until things really pass.

We should generalize this and we need to avoid getting hype then trust them our funds for quite long time. That's why its really better to withdraw it regularly so that we can avoid any problem like what FTX give to its costumers. Its undeniable that Binance is top exchange and a reputable one but we cannot take the possibilities that what happen to other might also happen to them.
1588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's hard to trust any crypto CEO this days on: December 16, 2022, 10:52:54 AM
Finally SBF is in jail and I am happy about it but Iets not forget about those that are not in jail like the 3AC founders, voyager and that Do Kwon of LUna himself, all eyes are on SBF and FTX right now and these others are praying they should be forgotten so they can enjoy the stolen cash someday, wherever they keep the remains. I hope they all face the Law someday too..

The lesson here is I believe SBF faced this justice because he stole from other rich people, imagine if those money are from lesser people it would have turn into a past history .

Newbies it is time to put an end to all Centralised finance in crypto space and shift your attention to Dex, they always have their hidden agendas, keep your crypto assets off the hands of any CeFi platforms, these people are the ones dragging crypto success back.

Trust only yourself and don't believe on people giving such word of wisdom either they are CEO or a investment coach since all words they say is always in favor to them and they have personal agenda for saying that. They always make people believe so that they can influence them so much better always trust your instinct about investments also do your research always so that you will not get bait for what shady activities they do.
1589  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: December 15, 2022, 10:41:48 PM
Maybe other people just confuse about that but the main point here is you got a lot of fun playing here and discuss the result at the end of the day since its more fun to discuss things to your fellow gamblers.
Problem here is that most gamblers try to come up with working strategies through these experiments in order to try and beat the house and end up getting disappointed when they eventually fail.

Actually that's not a problem since we can test by using any amount and people use to do this every time they play on new environment or even they want to try something that might work for them. People didn't see any problem doing this because they don't lose any huge money by doing this and for sure they enjoy doing that because placing small bets doesn't give any pressure because feeling to lose some huge amount of money is not there.

I’m wondering if doing an experiment on slot games is really worth it? The amount of bank roll is really not that important because you always use the minimum bet or do the fun mode since it’s the same game. Having an experiment for the sake of determining the winning probability base on the size bet is quite unappealing to me since slot winning probability is purely random. It’s very hard to formulate a strategy on a game that base on pure luck such as slot.

Always to use fun mode in slot if you are on experimenting for some strategy because this will never hurt your pocket. This is created so anyone could this what they want to do so best for people to use this because warming up testing thing before playing is much better since we can discover things that we might needed while playing. Although this game is pure random but atleast we have been entertain to play by using the strategy we think we develop for playing without risking any amount of money we deposit.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 15, 2022, 12:34:00 PM
Do you think it is necessary to give tips or it is just a tradition that is required?

Well it depends if you like to give or not since giving tip to anyone is not mandatory. If someone pressure you to do so and you are not comfortable with it then ignore them because its your money and you are the one who can decide if we want to keep your winnings. But if you can afford to give well this is also good because for sure people will remember the blessings you give and might you will also share the same vibes which if they win they also give tip to other people to.
1591  Economy / Exchanges / Re: STOP THE EXCHANGE FUD; Everyone will suffer the effect. on: December 15, 2022, 10:01:51 AM
Why get panic about those issues? Its normal many people spread fud so that they can take advantage buying coins at cheap price.

Maybe you need to relax if you hold some or do some counter action like buying it again since riding how the market flow is the best thing to do by traders.

Just remember that any happening on the the scene is normal cycle since this is how manipulator earn if you lose your patience you lose.
1592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear And Bull Market? on: December 14, 2022, 12:25:57 PM
Don't get confuse about such things and for sure many different statement will come toward this question but to simplify things to get better understanding check this.

Bear market - mostly all of coins are dump due to certain reasons, many people got panic so this is opportunity for anyone to buy since this is the time where all of coins are so cheap.

Bull market - people mostly get hype to see more pump and hit certain level of new ATH. This is also a good time to sell since many people are been greedy waiting for more pump although it might pump more but its still ok as long as you get your profit you can repeat all the process and gain more by doing the process again.
1593  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 14, 2022, 10:34:47 AM
1xbit has run many campaigns and put a lot of money into this. I myself have been a participant in those campaigns for a long time, and I have always received my money neatly and the guidelines are always clear. It's a pity that many people are always chasing 1xbit, I often wonder why. If you cheat on a site, it is quite normal that measures are taken against it. That is also the only way to stop cheaters. By the way, the deposit bonus is huge on the site. Has anyone been able to play all the way around?
It is normal if you try to defend the gambling site that you are promoting in your signature code but what you say is not the real picture.
Because all campaign payments to a personal wallet address, maybe you can try playing in this casino to deposit and play regularly using big money because you can become one of the victims when you are going to withdraw with large funds.

They will not waste their money earn to play at the casino they also know for their self that is untrusted. All they want is to gain this is the reason why we see them defending this casino despite of many accusation has been posted against them.

I'm sure many people in right mind will not take their word as valid because they know that this guys are here to shill 1xbit to continue what bad things they are doing.
1594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We No Longer Pay People Directly on: December 13, 2022, 09:53:12 PM

The less we use cash, the more we pay people through a corporation. The last remaining use of cash and direct payments is Tipping.
Everything else we must pay through a corporation. We cannot pay another human unless there is a corporation involved. As cash disappears this becomes a final fact -- a corporation involved in every financial transaction you pursue. In each transaction, the corporation is taking their percentage but also controls and monitors your transaction.

BTC

Bitcoin

Digitalization has been introduce and this one became more famous when pandemic came where many find a solution not to create more physical contact to other people. Many people like this idea because they don't need to bring some cash on their pocket anywhere and they can use their phone directly to pay so this is totally perfect with bitcoin since it can be use as that to.

But I don't think cash/fiat will gone since government will still backed up and maybe digital payments will became just an option.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 13, 2022, 12:08:46 PM
Yeah, he's trying to prolong the match but that's it. Manny will always be Manny Pacquiao and that's what we have to put it kept there.
Exactly, if Pacman would want to end the fight as soon as possible, he could but he didn't as it was just an exhibition match. I mean, come on we did watch a lot of his professional matches and even if he was declared as the loser, people are siding with him and defending that he should be the winner, not only Filipinos but even other nationalities.
He just gave what the fans want and they were there to watch and to get entertained so Pacman obliged and given that. I've read a quote that he's sure that the money will be delivered and donated to the people of Ukraine.
And then, he's willing to do a charity drive and exhibition match again for his countrymen after making 80+ house that he has donated, he wants to add more on it.

Yeah, obviously he wanted to gave the fans what they wanted in this game and so Pacman just do enough to go look for a knockout but not enough to pull the trigger and let DK Yoo still stand although you can see that he is tired.

This is for charity for Ukraine and his native country. Manny is truly one amazing athlete because he chooses to put his money for a good cause here.

Also show that classic pacman is not there anymore because he is bit slow. Although this is an exhibition match but still I'm not impressed to see how Pacquaio fight, maybe he really need to retire because he is old already and might he will be in danger if he will be taken out by a fighter which is still on his prime.

But still a good gesture has been showed by Pacquaio for sure many of his fans got impressed on what he do.
1596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bad advice can still be gotten from forum. on: December 13, 2022, 10:06:55 AM
In the answer of technical questions, many time I have observed that low rank member answer with some stupid solution; they in fact don't know. I myself has sometimes provided some wrong information because I didn't know. When it's about technical information, we should focus on the reputed bitcoin geek.

Even reputable geek can mislead us maybe its better for anyone to read what those people written and study if there words have basis so that you can figure out things are in right place towards technical things you ask here. We need to do more research especially if we want to know technical things since we cannot digest those information on first read since we need to research more so that we can understand and find solution on problems or question we want to solve.

1598  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: December 11, 2022, 03:36:37 PM
Is this just a misunderstanding of what web 3 actually is? Or it's a way to attract people/users to make them think that their platform is more advanced?.
As what others already pointed out, clearly it's just their way to attract gamblers to lure them out to play on their casino. Then you'll only find out the real deal once you're slap to comply for kyc due to your huge winnings. So if you gamble online always expect the possibility to be asked for kyc because it's already common for a regulated platforms. Anyway can you name these "some" casinos claiming to be web 3 yet asking for kyc?
There are many ways that casinos will attract more gamblers, but when it comes to KYC, casinos can ask you to KYC whenever they want. But as gamblers, maybe they are not thinking about web 3 or not because what they are looking for is a casino that doesn't require detailed KYC. And if they have found a casino that does not require KYC, they will not move to another casino, especially if they are already comfortable playing gambling. Casinos using web 3 are casinos that allow gamblers to link their wallets to their gambling accounts without going through the registration process.
Web3 based Casinos don't necessarily imply decentralisation. Some web3 Casino are centralised and been centralised KYC verification get involved.  The advantage web3 casinos has over the regular casino is the ability to link wallet addresses as deposit and withdrawal. KYC is needed to limit money laundering and terrorist financing

And that's how risky it is for connecting the wallet directly to the casino since provably there are crazy people will take advantage on it and try to scam whales by creating fake casino. That's why sometimes I don't like this idea abd we need to be more careful since in the end we are the one who will suffer for the risk we go thru if we miss calculate the wrong doings about such things done by the hackers.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: December 11, 2022, 09:59:41 AM
All holder will post everywhere they can if the token die out... It means same that the casino die out.
As for me - there are no difference between the casino token or the common token. We see the same strategies and the same manipulating. The market tells the truth and it says that no one interests this token.
Only time can tell whether the token will die and lose its popularity or whether it can survive in every condition. But with the many casinos that have been launched at this time, it proves that casino tokens might be able to survive and casinos tokens can provide additional benefits for investors. And if the casino tokens don't seem to be going up, market conditions haven't improved either and it still takes time to increase. So if the altcoin season starts coming, we will see the answer later.

No matter what condition of the market occur and if the casino will not take any action to convince people to invest with their token there's nothing gonna happen with it. But if they do aggressive marketing plus create more utility or usage unto it then most provably there's great things will happen in future. We need to understand that it will all based on demand so its really up to the casino performance on how they can influence more investor to put some money and believe on their tokens also on its potential.
1600  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has improved my life on: December 10, 2022, 11:30:49 PM
I've been a millionaire since 2015, and my uncle is too.
What did you do on your million? Im assuming its on $ right, but when I checked your profile history it seems that you are still doing bounty hunting for tokens. This is quite weird instead of doing that might learn on trading or put some of that cash on business instead. Thats a lot of money already to do free hunting tokens.

Maybe still trying to hit some gold on ocean of scams, many people still doing this that's why bounty campaign still alive eventhough there are so many complains about they are not getting paid by many of them.

There are few guys got bankrupt after they earn millions because they still decide to invest what they earn but unfortunately got scam or get affecter by bear market condition. For sure many learn a lot of lesson about this and thinking about creating business on their earned money on crypto, this is really more better for future security.
