Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor?

It seems to me that a single player has a better chance of winning relying on his experience and knowledge than those gambling players who are guided by opinions on forums or in communities where one way or another you follow the majority opinion, which does not always turn out to be true.

To hard to listen up on someones opinion and solely believe on what they say because we cannot figure out for ourselves if we can really have a better chances to win and also if they gone well maybe we struggle to continue what we like since the guys we rely on are gone totally. So much better learn a skill and be a single player since this is much better, we can avoid unnecessary conflict that might happen if unexpected came happen to our bets.

I do a bit of both as there would be times that the league that I bet on would go on a break and then I would go on to look at what others plan to bet on for the day but I prefer to make my own pick from scratch so i'd say i'm more of a lone bettor. Sometimes I feel bad for the good bettors trying to help though because whenever they go on a bad run there would be toxic people that discourage them to post.

I'm more of a lone sports bettor, but it doesn't mean I don't peruse data and analysis made by other people. I listen to sports analysts and others but I usually have my choice of who or which to bet already. I'm not easily swayed by other opinions. On the contrary, I'm more inclined to defend my own way of seeing things.

I make use of objective stats more than what other people make of them. I can appreciate them differently. Also when I bet on a sports match, I am already pretty familiar of it so I can actually bet based on their previous games alone.

I am not experienced enough to know where i could get good tips, so i am doing my own research on players / fighters. So far with mixed results, but i guess it's good thing i don't get too over confident. If i would have won everything i would now probably playing with bets too big for my budget. Now i am not so cocky and in it for the luck and fun of watching games/fights live at the same time.

But i am going to check this thead if someone has posted some good sites that makes analyzing for me.

Relying on your own instinct and analysis as a gambler  is far richer as it makes you self reliant and builds your sense of judgement about the outcome of certain odds you would want to place a bet on. A team sport bettor will always stand on the fence towards taking a decision on prediction of any odd by himself except it comes from the group or team which his a member. And this drains and keeps you handicap as a gambler in relying on yourself to making rights predictions when your group or community has nothing more to offer.

I have been a lone sport bettor for long now after realizing that I make better predictions on odds than most of the groups or community of before betting tips claiming to be run by experts as most of them are just making prediction based on luck then a win might come through just like every other lone bettor does.

I like to bet alone. But if my defeating rate get higher, then i try to look at the group betting. I realize that there are some mistakes in my strategy. I have gap with the strategy of the winner. Gambling strategy won't be same with others so one can be confused with his betting after losing too constantly. When the ratio comes on continuously, you should consult others. Group Betting has some benefits when I am betting with the same stress with my acquaintance, I can stay in the high position in the direction of confidence. If luck is good, then it is possible to get something good alone or from the group.

Like many things in life that revolve around finances and money, those who go with the crowd might get lucky but often times they just end up getting burned. While you should definitely take elements, copy and try to figure out the strategy in use by the most successful people - you really need to make your own path to be the most successful. It also involves long term analysis and self reflection because it is very easy to win a few times then think you have some extra special idea, but in reality you just had natural variance momentarily swing in your favor and it most often swings back. If you are always just copying people blindly and never learning your own path, then you are destined for failure. You should also remember that successful and wise people often keep their strategies well hidden because it will make them the most money in the long run.

and such situation we had seen during the world cup. some results were unexpected even bookies made a mistake of giving high odds to the winner. and that is true to most sports. you can never be sure about your winning up until the game is over. though i can consider myself as a lone sports bettor, but i do read blogs, discussions about the sports i want to place my bet with. you know, just to get a gist of what's happening and some tips.

Mostly lone bettor but whenever I see good picks I will tail them.
In NBA 2020-2021 betting thread we have a lot of good members who share their analysis, picks, props, parlays, and other types of bets on the said league so if I feel like it's something good then I will bet the same or more.
Sometimes, I do overlook some of the games so it's always better to have some group with other gamblers sharing their picks. Many times we have the same choices but I also like those who try to take the risk and I do follow them too if I feel like it can win.
I do appreciate this kind of group and I wish it will last longer.

I'm a little bit of both...

To base my bet, I end up being quite influenced by the opinion of other people, whether on sports analysis sites, in Telegram groups and even opinions and other bets made by bettors here at bitcointalk.

However, I always bet individually making my own choice.
Obviously I do my own analysis before betting on a certain outcome, sometimes I'm stubborn in going against the odds or what others are saying, sometimes I also prefer to bet on my favorite team, and other times I like to play against all the odds just because I believe that something "very unlikely" can happen so that I win a bigger prize.

I have never placed bets together with a team or a partner, I like the freedom to make my own choices.

I wager by myself. I choose which matches to bet, how much and which team or athlete to pick, but I like to watch the matches with other people and share with them I'm betting on it, so we cheer on together for the desired result. I think it's more exciting when we are with other people around.

On the aspect OP pointed out I'm a lone bettor, but at same time I don't consider myself a lone one, because you can't be lonely when you are surrounded by others, while talking to them about the bets you have made on the game you are watching. It really depends on what you consider a lone gambler.

I'm a single bettor and have never joined a group or anything like that to get a reference for the odds that will be chosen when betting, and feel more comfortable with current conditions, but that doesn't mean I have never read or seen every prediction made by other forum members especially if he is a member who has proven to be quite accurate in every analysis, for example in tennis there are several members who is quite good at predicting the outcome.

Most of the gamblers will be lone bettors. Myself used to take the suggestion from the sporting enthusiasts as well as from articles that give better information about the game in which I've plans to bet. Most of the time my bets will be on the underdog, and the bet value will be low. When I go with the winning odds I prefer placing it on live Betting. A combined team betting will be interesting if one has placed over a team and the other have placed bet on the opponent.

and it is more enjoyable playing with friends , but I think what OP asks here is that if we are believing or asking other opinion to where to bet? or which team or players?

but like you , I also love playing with friends most of the time specially when younger years , and till now with office mates? we gamble together at least once a month for bonding.

This is equivalent to those crypto prediction groups, they will likely be making money of you than for you.
