15821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there a newbie-friendly ETH wallet? on: February 09, 2016, 08:41:19 PM
I asked this very same question in another thread, as I was curious myself.  No one answered the question.  Is Ethereum not really an altcoin or what?  I assume it is, as it trades on poloniex like one.
15822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the darkcoin/dash instamine matters on: February 09, 2016, 08:38:34 PM
Don't know about the instamine, but how is Dash doing now?  It's been almost a year since OP wrote this.  I bought some Dash not too long ago, and I have to say that the volume on Yobit is absolutely awful.  Is it that way on the other exchanges?
15823  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WouchtSack is back as Krumauge on: February 08, 2016, 10:18:42 PM
Is this Krumspooge in a sig campaign or what?  I have signatures blocked so I can't see.  Seems to be a shitposter in addition to everything else going on.
15824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins speculation on: February 08, 2016, 10:08:38 PM
I'm not sure of where altcoins are headed, and I don't think anyone is.  I do own some DOGE and Dash as well as bitcoin, but nothing major.  Ethereum is kind of interesting to watch, and I'm curious to see if it really does turn out to be a big scam.  From what I've read it could be a serious competitor with bitcoin--but I don't believe everything I read.  So I'll stick with the little bit of doge and dash that I buy with my meager sig campaign earnings.  It's fun and keeps me out of trouble.
15825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: February 08, 2016, 09:59:16 PM
Ignorance. They know nothing about it and that allows people to fill the gaps in their knowledge with whatever bias they have. It's also true that all people hear about are Islamic terrorists. Obviously the jihadists represent a very small number of Muslims.
Don't know about ignorance.  I've heard some damn good arguments to not like Islam that are based on some pretty solid facts, like straight out of the Koran.  Having said that, I don't hate Islam.  And yes, it's the fucking terrorists who did shit like crash planes into the WTC on 9/11, bombed it in '93, the Boston marathon bombing, and 7/7 in GB.  I would say they definitely put a bad face on Islam.
15826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new to btc so need help on: February 08, 2016, 09:55:23 PM
Didn't see anyone mention this one, though I could have missed it:  Moonbit.co.in is a decent one, though they've cut their payout quite a bit since Google put the kabosh on faucets and Adsense.  As others have said, you're definitely not going to make a lot of bitcoin with faucets.  Better to find another way.
15827  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex froze 13 withdrawals support ticket unanswered for over 12 hours on: February 08, 2016, 09:50:17 PM
And I think this has happened on pretty much all the exchanges.  The problem is that you never know what's going on behind the curtain at these places.  Sometimes withdrawal delays are more than just technical glitches, as we have seen with Mt. Gox and Cryptsy.  So I'm glad this was resolved.
15828  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: February 08, 2016, 09:46:43 PM
<snip>

So, Eric reneged, eh, hence the dox?
That's what it looks like, though I haven't seen an update on whether anyone has used the dox to any effect.  People were clamoring for it and then once it was dumped there was only the sound of crickets.

So I'm hoping for an update from people who are pursuing...involuntary reimbursement and beyond.
15829  Economy / Reputation / Re: Giving credit where credit is do - Vlad2Vlad on: February 08, 2016, 09:36:40 PM
Props.  I agree, there's not enough credit given to people who do the right thing when doing the wrong thing is so much easier.  Glad you posted this, it warms my heart to an extent.
15830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: February 08, 2016, 09:27:29 PM
OK one more thing:  ETH doesn't have a wallet of its own?  Am I correct about that?  So if you buy it on, say, Poloniex you can't withdraw it anywhere?
15831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin onecoin? on: February 08, 2016, 09:22:44 PM
so why is it still operaiting?  seen lot of negative comment saying its a scam ponzi scheme why it dosent shutds down  look at their facebook page  its holycrap

once one country gets wise to it, they move onto another country.. last year dubai this year london..

Yep, these scumbags are scumbags.  So many of them in bitcoin land it's ridonkulous.  I'm skeptical of pretty much any new shitcoin that comes on the market and I'm not even aware of 99% of them.  I do a little trading in the big-name ones here and there but nothing huge.  The market is so damn thin for these shitcoins that I don't know how anyone other than the devs make money on them.
15832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: February 08, 2016, 09:14:15 PM
Everyone's looking for the next bitcoin, right?  Or the coin that will overtake bitcoin.  And from what I've read it seems ETH has the best shot.  I'm very skeptical and I don't own any, as Yobit doesn't list it, else I might actually buy some for the hell of it.  You never know.
15833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people REALLY use bitcoin on: February 08, 2016, 08:50:27 PM
Every day I use Bitcoin to keep a portion of my savings secure.
This is what I kind of do with bitcoin, which is to just let it sit there.  I've come to the realization that bitcoin is best used as a store of wealth than as a currency, much like precious metals.  There aren't many merchants accepting bitcoin (well, nowhere I shop accepts it), and using cash or credit/debit cards is way, waaaay easier.  I think it's definitely failing as a currency and there's no need for it to be one.  Why go out of your way to purchase bitcoin with fiat just to buy something in bitcoin?  It's unnecessary.
15834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join signature ad campaigns .. on: February 08, 2016, 08:43:17 PM
Be sure that you are joinin this campaign not to just spam for the free money that you will get from it. AFAIK, yobit, 777coin, bitvest, seconstrade offers spots for jr member at the moment.

Just a piece of advice, keep your post quality good an if you can be excellent. Be helpful in the community and don't just farm signature campaign.
Yeah, I have my doubts already though I haven't looked at his posts.  Given that there are probably hundreds of topics asking this same question, OP seems like he's going to be the asshole who posts and never reads anything.  You know those threads "How can I earn some bitcoin?".  And every fucking poster suggests joining a sig campaign?  He's going to be one of those I bet.

So OP, don't be one of those people.  Sig campaigners are held to a much higher standard with respect to post quality, because no one likes to see people earn bitcoin by shitposting.  So don't do it.

And you absolutely did not need to start another thread on this topic.
15835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Racism is a real thing (this thread is extremely racist) on: February 08, 2016, 08:37:33 PM
I just cant get over the fact that inbred jews are the master race regarding iq ;(

Why would you think Jews are inbred?

Jews typically encourage critical thinking skills, rather than discourage thinking as most religions do...
I've known quite a few Jews and considered most of them friends.  I never quite understood the stereotypes associated with them, because the ones I knew were kind and extremely generous.  A lot of them did fit the stereotype of being smart and kind of neurotic.

OP I agree that it's fucking taboo to mention race inequalities (psst...you have to say *differences*) even when they're so blatantly obvious.  And it's funny because it wasn't this way for a long, long time.  I'd say race relations have improved but we've become blind to the truth somewhat.
15836  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iraqi immigrant rapes 10yr old in Vienna, due to "accumulation of sexual energy" on: February 08, 2016, 08:29:37 PM
Perhaps maybe you should make an Arab friend first, then ask him?
Probably not gonna happen.  I don't get out much.  In either case I wasn't attacking what you wrote--I saw it as darkly humorous, and I'll take you at your word that it's true.  I certainly have seen how women are treated in Islam, as I have known some Muslims.  Being somewhat of a misanthrope and a self-centered bastard, I'm not too bothered as long as it doesn't encroach on my freedoms.
15837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam the Cancer on: February 08, 2016, 08:09:16 PM
I was thinking that people who follow Islam must be really dumb to follow such a pathetic religion.

Can we effectively say that 22% of the worlds population is dumb??

Cause you find it worse than the others religion?

For me they're all equally stupid...
I think they're all stupid but I don't think they're all equally stupid.  Or equally harmful.  I don't like Islam in general and the radical ones in particular.  They do not belong in 2016.  Those beliefs are a throwback to a time before critical thinking had evolved.  Christianity used to be just as bad if not worse.
15838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump only happened to liquiidate Short Stops, Dump has now wiped out Long Stops. on: February 08, 2016, 08:00:20 PM
I have never thought that TA works for crypto, at least not as well as it does in normal markets. Cryptos seem to be much more unpredictable.

I do not doubt that whales and/or exchanges are intentionally fluctuating prices in such a way as to wipe out the majority of stops as you say, but if you think this information/discovery is valid then why not use it in your TA?

If you think the market will move to wipe out stops then why not trade based on this information on top of your standard TA? When making your trade why not think "Well, the support and resestance lines are doing this and there fore I think it will go this direction so I'll enter this postion BUT I know they are going to counter to wipe out all the small fishes stops so I'll set my position X percent above or below what my TA predicts to account for the manipulation that wipes out stops"...

Place your trade where you think they will wipe out the stops, if this is true then it is just another piece of information to base your trades on and if you are correct then you will win..

Instead of getting all pissed off about a market situation that you didn't account for next time account for this situation and use it to your advantage..
And I think the same and have said the same in other threads.  Of course I don't think TA is legitimate anyway--it's all crystal ball gazing to me.  Hooey.  And fundamental analysis doesn't even apply in my opinion, because bitcoin can't be analyzed like stocks or bonds can.  There's no earnings, no CEOs taking stock options, none of that.  The price of bitcoin, I think, is dependent solely on market forces.  Buying and selling orders.  Speculation.
15839  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Silicon Valley’s Cult of Male Ego on: February 08, 2016, 07:42:38 PM
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Good 'ol boys' clubs are responsible for some good things in history--as well as some bad.  The world is changing, shying away from these sorts of clubs.  Hell, the profession of pharmacy has women as the majority now, and that's an enormous change.  I'm sure no one knew that here or cares.  Women have traditionally not gone into fields that are math-based, and computers definitely qualifies.

Sometimes it's not the fucking white man's fault.
15840  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan Need with No collateral with a 24 to 48 return. on: February 08, 2016, 07:38:06 PM
I will try it but I want you to send me a hand note saying you will pay me back and you ID.

Let me know.
^^^Sock puppet, I would lay money on it.  OP, just lock the thread and go away.
