How much money in $$$ should a new trader invest and which type of trading is good? Buy and store it until it reaches high peak then sell it or some other way? Guys please give your honest suggestions. Great suggestions and personal experiences are most welcomed and highly appreciated...
To me, minimum one thousand dollars is required to start trading. More or less is not needed for the beginners. But this is to earn serious amounts. If you just want to see the dynamics of trade, you can even start with $10. |

Can anyone explain two things:
1. Why did Siacoin crash harder than the other alts, even though there is a strong backing from people in the business?
2. How is it an alt will always depend on BTC to stay up or down? Why can't alts, especially like Siacoin hold their own ups and downs?
I explain the reasons with my current knowledge gladly. 1. Siacoin is a pumped trash. So it's very normal losing its value while the real altcoins save their values. 2. Alts hold their own down and ups, but only the real alts. Not the ones like siacoin. |

There are many good coins which I am sure will be holding a very good position in this crypto world in the year of 2020. There are many coins available here which are doing great and I am sure they will be at a very good place after 3 years. Some of them are Dash, Ripple, XMR, SIA, DGB, ETH, ETC and much more are also there I am hoping they will be doing very good at that time.
I have the same ones, very similar to your portfolio. I don't if I can wait until 2020 but I will wait at least until 2018 to sell my valuable altcoins. I really trust them in long run. I don't even trade them not to lose any. |

My list is following: ETH, ETC, LTC, BAT, SNM, ADX, XMR, XRP, DGB, PAY, MCO, EDG, GUP, HMQ.
I hold them for midle term. Not like long term or short term.

So far the BOT is working awesome for me....especially if you are happy with 1-3% increases average daily.
I am using bollinger bands method but only on about 10 pairs.....so far its just not a ton of trades.....other than that...its awesome

I'm sorry but these software bots are only stupid things. They don't make you earn or profit at all. The same method is advertised for forex which also doesn't work. So please stop spreading wrong ideas. If the bot make you earn continuously, why the hell shall the owner sell it to you? |

Etherdelta is 1 good exchange with good order and volume. I think this guy don't know how to trade on etherdelta thats why some are complaining "why only in etherdelta"?..  Etherdelta is really basic and useful for traders. It's not suitable for daily trade, but it's okay for buy/sell type orders. Pillar will get on bittrex hopefully. Raised crazy amount of money during ICO. |

For the urgent need clear cash is more advantageous, because if we use bitcoin not necessarily all the needs we will do already accept, it is still difficult to do daily transactions with bitcoin, fixed with cash easier and faster.
Whether later? Just waiting for readiness only.
Exactly, cash is cash and it has no problem for instant spending purposes. Everybody accept it. But for bitcoin, we search for hours to find somebody accepting it. |

Though Op has mentioned the article describing all about the hard fork and other splitting of the network in the past to term it an altcoin, we need to have the understanding that if bitcoin hasn't got existed we could have never got a term virtual currency or cryptocurrency. Following this has grown the entire list of altcoins that we use.
Hmm this is right but we shouldn't forget the fact that bitcoin could be surpassed by others and this turns bitcoin into an altcoin. No matter if bitcoin is the first coin ever, the current condition is much more vital to consider. |

We all know that we can't make transactions with zero fee but the public complaints are due to extreme miner fees. This is not fair.
I've been using bitcoin for more than 1.5 years and this high fees are stupid. If miners think they getting good money by stealing from us, they will face the problems soon.

I do not think that SEGWIT will cause a split. Litecoin didn't have a problem with it. But i really would like it to split to see some volatility  Yes but the problem how can we understand this. i am dealing with loss by doing buy order again at lower price for 3 or more buy order until i think i can make profit or at least i can reach BEP. so far, if i have a loss in one coin, i will trying to recover by searching another chance to reach profit. sometime this is work but the other time is not work, its depend with the trend of the coin.
Yeah that's a good one, let's look at how I'm dealing with loss. When we earn money or bitcoin, that's okay right? So what is wrong with loss? Why do you guys see loss as the end of the world? Let's wake up and see the reality please. This is not a board game. |

I divide my budget into two piece. My 75% goes to BTC/ETH/LTC pool which is trusted, my 25% goes to tokens. Becasue tokens contains risks for trade. But bitcoin and ether are much safe.

In last month around in june i found thread starting charly lee joining LTC after leaving Coinbase in that timeprice was around 20$ -25$ but i dint believe one man cant change anything but now price is 40$+ .
A lot of people are predicting 100+ LTC. I missed my 28.00 buy in, hoping it drop back into 30's for a minute and load the boat. Definitely on a lot of people radar now, seeing a lot of talk on social media, even youtube comment sections. I bought my litecoin for $4 each and I sold 90% of mine for $8 and now I'm simply depressed. I was happy for making doubling my money but now I see what I missed. |

I agree! Real projects will raise the rate, 30% of really working solutions are enough for stable growth. It's like gasoline, it's in price while there are cars, and despite the fact that it is done very much, the price grows constantly ... Or is it only unas in Russia)))) ... That high prices for ethereum is not possible to me. Ethereum faces too many problems and hack attemps nowadays and these making ethereum problematic in the eyes of community. |

My advice is better you use ethereum, because besides BTC, ethereum is the best and you can benefit here ,, but do not just 1 altcoin you save it, and I suggest that LTC is also good to invest in long term
I also bought some ethereum. ETC and ripple are also good for long term. Their value will increase I guess. |

Awesome idea but the fee is high. So when you give paper wallet, they can't send it to somewhere else to cash out. The amount disappears due to fee.
