161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investment criteria and advices on: February 06, 2021, 03:33:46 AM
I have some criteria and these are my criteria

- Try to analyze its backers. The projects that backed by big companies will always be successful like injective, poolz, polkadot
- Try to identify team
- Try to take a look at MVP
- Try to engage with the community. A legit project will always have active community.

i have been actively joining in various ICOs, IEOs and IDOs on polkastarter, balancer and many more.

yes you're right, community is an important one. a good and promising project must have an active community. and we also have to see their experience, background and how ready they are in launching the project.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH made me very Angry today on: February 05, 2021, 02:47:24 PM
DEX exchanges are very disadvantageous nowadays, as transaction fees on the ethereum network are very expensive. yesterday I was planning to buy tokens at Uniswap, but when I saw the gas fee I had to pay, I was surprised that the amount exceeded my estimate of $50. it was very expensive and I decided against it. it is better to temporarily leave DEX, until fee gas can be cheaper
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about new projects on: February 05, 2021, 09:18:05 AM
Why don't the current projects almost all follow in the footsteps of existing famous brands?

because they just want to get money from investors. they make tokens and sell them under the pretext of doing development. After tokensales, the tokens are listed on the market and in the end they disappear. This cycle is always repeated with new projects, only a small number of projects actually do what their whitepaper says.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins. How much do you think we need them? on: February 04, 2021, 11:25:58 AM
As we move on with the digitalization, Bitcoin becomes more and more used. However, a considerable amount of people choose Bitcoin to enhance their financial privacy.
Is it true to say that people accept bitcoin and choose to use it because they want to improve privacy level for their financial activities? I doubt that it is not true, and people mainly have bitcoin transactions to invest, trade, speculate. Only very few of them care to use bitcoin for privacy.

yes I agree with you, the average person who holds bitcoin doesn't care about privacy. they only use bitcoin for investment and make a profit. even if asked, which one is more profitable between using it as a means of payment or investment, they definitely prefer investing.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Report ETH for SCAM because $80 fees on: February 04, 2021, 02:55:34 AM
We should make a thread in Scam Accusation forums because ETH steal $50 on transaction fees for simple token transfer.
Some transfers in MetaMask show as $120.... WTF!

Meanwhile other projects as KoinOS have $0 fees and Uniswap will run just fine on it too some day.

I predict ETH crashing again from $1500 to $80 like with last crash. ETH is an expensive scam coin that is the AIDS of crypto.
Remember all the scam ICOs on ETH? How many billions people lost?

And now $50 on token transfers??

All ETH ever did was ruin crypto. Its not a good project except for the billionaires who bought it for $0.25.

Not even Paypal ever had such horrible fees as ETH.

I rather pay an old man with a mule $50 for token transfer than pay $50 on eth.
Can also just call an UBER to transfer your token, much cheaper than ETH!

So what are some alternatives? What platforms can UNISWAP also run on easily
with low fees?

I already say KoinOS but they are very early (like buying eth for $0.25, still UNDER
1000 holders!!) but what are some other projects? Preferably around $100m market cap or lower?

ethereum is not a scam, it's just that they are a bad platform. everyone was disappointed by the high gas fees, but there was nothing they could do. the options are only two, accept all of that or switch to a cheaper platform.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH keep breaking record and what happened to BCH? on: February 03, 2021, 11:54:41 AM
Will ETH break it to 2k?? and does anyone know what is going on with BCH? it's basically the only coin from the top ten lists that haven't raised and still remember when it always been higher than ETH, but now... Huh

for now ethereum hasn't been able to reach 2k, but for me the price is stable in the range of 1300-1400 is good enough. if it is too high it can also make transaction fees more expensive. and a lot of people have complained about this, so until the final phase of Ethereum 2.0, I hope the price will stabilize better.

and for BCH, I don't think this coin has a reason to go up yet. there is no news yet to make people want to buy or hold at this time. so no bch going up anytime soon.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC and decentralized projects possibility on: February 03, 2021, 03:41:33 AM
SEC can easily put the punishment to centralised exchange to make the project die slowly, thats why we need to start to use decentralised exchange more then CEX, and when the market share of DEX can go above CEX we are ready to fight SEC. Now SEC is still can easily shutting us down.

yes you're right, DEX is the future of the crypto market. by using DEX, crypto will not be bound by government authorities. but the problem now is that the transaction fees on DEX are very expensive. I hope that in the future transaction fees on the Dapps network, especially Ethereum, can be suppressed. this is very burdensome for those who wish to send only small amounts of tokens. and it is time to develop a cross-chain blockchain, to make the Dapps platform easier. especially DEX, so they can support all coins.

and if this happens, the SEC and all governments around the world. lacks the power to intervene in crypto.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Rally Starts Today! on: February 02, 2021, 08:05:12 AM
The rally is over and now XRP is falling again. If you get stuck on FOMO, congrats you will regret it now. the price is hard to go up and maybe the pump is really over now. I sympathize with those who bought over 0.5$ yesterday. thinking it's not too late, but in the end being the ones who are left behind, what a shame they are.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to HODL? on: February 02, 2021, 05:20:32 AM
Some say altcoins pump once, then itīs over forever. But thatīs not always true. If the coin has real technology and usage behind it we could see it go to the moon in the future. Which altcoins have the best potential to stick around and create gains in the future?

I recommend ethereum, because this coin has everything and is an altcoin that has great potential to rise in the future. ethereum is also the best altcoin and is worth investing in long term. besides ethereum there is DOT, another Dapps project that is currently hot. DOT(Polkadot) is said to be a tough competitor for ethereum in the future. or UNI from Uniswap, these tokens are also great to invest in. many predict that this token is like the next BNB.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could DOGE could reach 1$...? on: February 01, 2021, 03:24:41 PM
Everyone saying doge coin can touch 1$ , Is it possible...? Huh Should i buy or not  Huh.?

it can, but bitcoin is worth $100k and the doge price remains at 118sat. but for now, that's impossible. yesterday doge went up because at the pump, when the pump runs out of power the price will stop rising. so in the near future it is impossible for doge to go up to $1.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO is going to replace IEO? on: February 01, 2021, 02:53:33 AM
I don't think so. IDOs may be good, but IEOs on large exchanges are the best. so I think IEOs are still the best way to raise funds. IDO is good for those who hate KYC, but that does not guarantee that the project is good and will bring profit later. Unlike the IEO, check out Binance's lunchpad, lots of successful projects were released there. and all provide a profit for the early investor. so IDO will not replace the success of IEO.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 30, 2021, 12:14:57 PM
I think TRX is next. when viewed from some of the signs that exist, this coin has a great chance. after justin tweeted the WSB post, his chances got even bigger. looks like I'll start monitoring TRX from now on, I don't want to be left behind like yesterday's doge. for now the TRX price is still no significant movement. So I don't think it's too late to buy.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: January 30, 2021, 02:34:49 AM
both are equally good, I'm hard to choose. but in real use case, binance chain is superior because they have many dapps active. while Polkadot has only a few projects. Binance Chain also has DEX, we are familiar with BSCSwap. so in terms of binance chain support is better.

But Polkadot cannot be underestimated, because currently DOT is ranked fourth with the largest market cap even though it hasn't been a year since their network was launched. that means their progress is pretty good, and there are a lot of people who support this project. You know support is important because without loyal supporters it's hard to survive. just look at the current XRP, if they don't have loyal supporters maybe by now the project is dead.

so if asked to choose one of these two projects, I better choose both. because DOT and BNB are just as profitable and worth investing in.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: January 29, 2021, 12:00:43 PM
within a decade there will definitely be many events that will occur, so it is difficult to predict this. in the future ethereum may no longer be the number one dapp platform. or in the future the ethereum network is considered to fail in overcoming scalability. or in the future ethereum POS is not very profitable. or even worst case all crypto including ethereum is banned. we don't know what the future holds, and all of this could affect prices. it could be ethereum can't make new ATH, and every year they have a repeat. fell below $200, and slowly climbed back up to 1k.

it is all a small part of the bad possibilities that could happen in the future. And if you look at it from the positive side, let's say the bullrun and altcoin season happen every 4 years. from 2017, 2021, and later in the year 2025, and 2029. in the next decade there will be a 2x altcoin season waiting and that will all create a new ATH. and every altcoin season that occurs ethereum increases 2x. so it means that in 2025 ethereum will be worth more than 2k and at the end of 2029 1ETH will be worth more than 5K.

it is a prediction that I can see in the next 1 decade. And I'm sure all of that is inaccurate because 1 decade is too long and surely a lot of things will happen.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in? on: January 29, 2021, 04:17:58 AM
A couple of month ago i discovered Ethereum. I'd been thinking about investing, but didn't. Now i think is the ideal moment to go back to this idea. Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in?

what about DEFI? there are lots of good quality DEFIs on the ethereum network. you can invest there. and currently the defi project is also hot, so the possibility of getting a high profit. or you can invest not only in ethereum tokens. there are actually lots of other lucrative coins out there, one of which is DOT. In recent weeks the DOT (Polkadot) has been popular in the market. or the doge, which is surprisingly high today.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No positive sign in LTC on: January 28, 2021, 08:56:02 AM
Nobody really know. But I can share my theory.
People are slowing understanding that bitcoin clones will not last long.

Litecoin may be an interesting clone (fast blocks, fast confirmations... the digital silver, not trying to scam anyone like bch)
,  but Charlie Lee sold all his ltc stash in 2017.
If the litecoin founder doesn't really believe in the project , why should anyone?

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/20/litecoin-founder-charlie-lee-sells-his-holdings-in-the-cryptocurrency.html

Yes, this is also one of the reasons why Litecoin is not in high demand. but despite all that there will be times when Litecoin goes up. And recently I heard about a flare network held an airdrop for ltc holders. although an official date has not been announced, this could be a reason for future increases.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High possibility major governments will BAN Bitcoin in the near future on: January 28, 2021, 04:10:38 AM
The major governments of the world have for some time been laying the groundwork for their own national cryptocurrencies. Does that matter? Yes, it matters a lot. Bitcoin will be a direct competitor.

Why do they do this? To remain in financial control and to stop financial crime like whitewashing of funds from happening. Is it likely to happen? Yes, the US banned holding gold privately in the 1930's. So that the US government was to be a monopoly gold holder in the US.

There is a clear danger that the US, Europe, China, Japan and others will get togheter and flat out ban and even criminalize the usage and holding of Bitcoin. Resulting in after the ban, if you are cought using and holding BTC, you would get a huge fine or jail term.

The price of Bitcoin would get killed completely, you would be looking at Bitcoin below $1000.

How likely do YOU think this scenario is? Although you might say this is only speculation, IT IS A FACT that these countries are working on cryptocurrencies of their own.

very low. the crypto community is not criminals, and they are not doing anything illegal. maybe there will be a ban, but to impose the punishment only for the holder, that is a mistake. there will be many who protest about this issue. after all, crypto provides benefits for all, and if you look at it, isn't it more profitable for the government, if crypto / bitcoin is legalized but on the condition that they are taxed. there will be a lot of income they will get considering the marketcap for crypto is huge.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNI coin is the next BNB. ? on: January 27, 2021, 11:04:27 AM
according to my analysis, UNI has the same pattern as BNB. so I think UNI will be the next BNB coin in the future. UNI looks like when the first BNB was released. As long as the Uniswap exchange is still popular, the opportunity for UNI to become the next BNB is enormous.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: January 27, 2021, 03:46:31 AM
as long as their network is still operational, XRP will survive. They only have trouble with America anyway, so outside of that they're safe. There are still many large exchanges outside America that support ripple. so there's no need to worry about this. But what matters is whether ripple can still get back on track once the SEC issues are resolved. Everyone knows that the market is currently in a bull market, and only XRP will not be affected by this. so if the problem is resolved, will the bull's impact affect the ripple. if so, this is great for making the situation better.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: January 26, 2021, 09:35:37 AM

Monero’s future is bright. I expect that it will eventually eclipse BTC, but we are still a few years away from that.

monero can't go beyond bitcoin. until whenever it is impossible. but monero has a bright future, like you said. monero is one of the important coins in the development of crypto. Privacy coins are in vogue not only on the dark net, people who like privacy and want to remain anonymous use monero a lot. Currently, there are many mainstream platforms that support Monero as a means of payment, and most recently, PornHub is one of them. in the future there will be many companies that support this coin, that's why the future is very bright.
