Some transfers in MetaMask show as $120.... WTF!

Meanwhile other projects as KoinOS have $0 fees and Uniswap will run just fine on it too some day.

I predict ETH crashing again from $1500 to $80 like with last crash. ETH is an expensive scam coin that is the AIDS of crypto.
Remember all the scam ICOs on ETH? How many billions people lost?

And now $50 on token transfers??

All ETH ever did was ruin crypto. Its not a good project except for the billionaires who bought it for $0.25.

Not even Paypal ever had such horrible fees as ETH.

I rather pay an old man with a mule $50 for token transfer than pay $50 on eth.
Can also just call an UBER to transfer your token, much cheaper than ETH!

So what are some alternatives? What platforms can UNISWAP also run on easily
with low fees?

I already say KoinOS but they are very early (like buying eth for $0.25, still UNDER
1000 holders!!) but what are some other projects? Preferably around $100m market cap or lower?

It needs $20 just only for approval on sushiswap and i do believe if we must need at least $50 to swap our coins into the another coin.

The swap process needs 2x transaction.
That means when we are doing a complete transaction and that needs almost $80

Who will you accuse? Ethereum developers? The miners? The users/exchanges/custodial services that sets high gas fee for faster confirmation? Nobody stole anything. AFAIK, everyone is asked to verify if they are willing to pay for the gas fee before sending.

Leave ethereum DEX and Dapps for now until something is done on Ethereum. Try to check platforms running on Binance smart chain. Fees are much lower there.

I fully support you with the horrendously expensive transportation costs. But I tried to send funds through MEW and my commission was less than Metamask. But a lot also depends on the token that you send.

Doge is all nice and good, but inflation of over 4% is worse then fiat. Doge, no reward halving unlimeted supply same as Monero, Ethereum....

Average fiat inflation rate is 2.3% (purchasing power loss)

yes ,, I totally agree with your opinion that it is time for us to leave the Ethereum platform for some time to come until there is a change from the current transaction fees which have already exceeded the appropriate fees. and this is the best move for all of us.

Usually you can set the gas as you wish, depend on how you want the transaction speed will be. The lower fee, the slower your transaction will be.
But i agree right now, Ethereum fees are really high, the problems is The Blockchain of Ethereum is too crowded, we hope ETH 2.0 can solve that problem.
Until that happen, you can try another platform like Tron, Eos or BSC

Gas fee becomes everyone's nightmare, I use mew app for most of my erc20 transfer and in the app it has 3 transfer option, (economy, regular and fast) so it is either you have eth to meet with any of the 3 option provided otherwise you can not just set the fee lower than what is given, in this case, you don't have much option than to choose either one of the options if the transfer is very necessary.
It is very disheartening the gas fee has skyrocket and I don't know if there will be a solution soon.

Ethereum really wants incredible transfer fees. This situation is completely against the purpose of crypto coins. I just made a transfer yesterday and was shocked when I saw the fee. With this structure, Ethereum should not live any longer in the cryptocurrency world. We need new blockchain technologies

Alternative? You are using a bitcoin alternative. Why dont you just use the former, the most accepted,  bitcoin?

Bitcoin fees can be like 0.2 usd if you wait for a couple of days, or about 30usd if you want a a next block confirmation

Way better than ethereum now.

This is not the fault of ethereum network only because i made a transaction from my mew wallet directly and its value was quite big but fee charges was under $3 so i think the high transaction cost is related to dexes that have to extract comissions, farming profits as well as other charges from traders so if you do not like that you can trade at centralized exchanges.

How much did you pay for the fee? I wouldn't commit a transaction if I find the fee too much for me to carry, that's what I do and wait a little moment until I finally continue doing it if I find it cheaper.

Most projects are under the ethereum network and as a hunter you may probably have most of your tokens as erc20, even if you decide to sell all, you will need gas which is the number one issue faced by erc20 holders,  those who are talking about doge, which project is using the doge network?

Callisto Network try to port Uniswap on their blockchain, the contract already deployed but the UI still on the progress.
I hope its can work smoothly and give an alternative to the crypto space!

Just stop using them.  I dont know who exactly you are excusing is scamming you but go right ahead.  Not going to go anywhere but worth throwing in for.  My suggestion to you is that you just stop using the platform altogether.

I see it otherwise, i think due to high fee less people will be transferring their eth to exchanges to trade or exchange while people transacting will be paying high fee so it is win win scenario for eth bulls because there will be less supply while the network revenue will be still high so i expect eth to really moon in coming weeks.

i can say no one is happy with this extremely high transaction fees on eth blockchain. am sure solutions will come but the needful needs to be done. thats why projects are moving to bsc chain.
