I put my API key in for ZEN and it works, but if I try to put an API key in for ZEC it pulls up the same ZEN window asking for the ZEN API key instead of the ZEC API key.

Could you also add Zencash coin for autoexchange and algo? Thanks!

right now you need to see what GPUs are available--it all depends on your market.

I'd cut a piece of plywood and make some spacers and start stacking cards on top of the Asus card..

I changed to gen 2 and all 4 are now appearing. It was in Auto prior. However, the 4th GPU is coming up with Code 43 in Device Manager. I don't understand what you mean. I just installed Windows 10 Pro via a USB from boot and installed it on my SSD. what he's saying is if Win 10 was not installed in UEFI mode, it will not see/work with all the GPUs in the system. If it's not a UEFI install you will have to reformat and reinstall Win 10 in UEFI mode. To find out if your Win 10 is in UEFI mode, following the instructions in his link listed above: https://superuser.com/questions/946868/how-to-test-whether-windows-10-was-installed-with-uefi

the nanopool.org pool is saying your miner line is incorrect.
create a .sh file and chmod it for execution:
export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 export GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
./ethdcrminer64 -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal YOUR_ETH_ADDRESS/YOUR_WORKER_NAME/YOUR_EMAIL -mode 1
perhaps if you can post your miner line for nanopool we can help more.

it looks like you've confused the miner lines.. looks like you have EWBF config mixed in your miner line: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n77uUdFYjWcvideo shows a guy making a .bat file on Windows, but it will explain the miner line.

really awesome job fullzero!
|
|
|
i am getting this error.. sometime after 24 hour and sometime after 36 hours usually see that error when I'm overclocked too much, one of the GPUs shuts down and they all go down. What you can do is run an instance of EWBF for each GPU and see which one crashes. There can also be system unstability due to power or many other issues.

Hey guys I just got a new rig to add, 3x 1070's, 3x580. 2 of the 580's are 4gb, Nitro+ and one 8gb Asus Strix 1070's are doing a solid 30MH/s without pushing the limits too far. the 580's are going for a 24MH/s factory. But here lies the problem. I try to OC the 580's, nothing happens. the MH/s doesnt move even by a fraction. Tried Wattman, Afterburner and Trixx. I try to mod their bios, change the correct values and all. Only the 8GB gets to 27MH/s and still now, the OC isnt doing anything. Its a fresh Win10 installation, tried both catalyst 15 and the combo of 16 and 17, still nothing. Now Claymore is working fine on them, but it just cant pick up the temp/fan off of them, and neither can the OC softwares. Halp please Try only using the AMD 580s (remove Nvidia 1070s) and see what happens. Mixing AMDs and Nvidias could be the issue.

probably need to post your system config mobo/ram/gpus etc. There are specific builds for specific mobos/configs..

well it sounds like you are installing the P106 without reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers. I'd use DDU to remove all the NVIDIA drivers, install the P106's and then install the latest NVIDIA drivers. Before you do all of this, I'd check the readme files of the latest NVIDIA driver and see if it has the P106 listed.
ETA: didn't the P106 come with a CD that had the drivers on it? If so you'll probably have to use that as the online NVIDIA drivers might not have this new P106 wrapped up in it.

I'd pull up an overclocking program and lower the power (TDP) of each of the cards to 75% and see if it still crashes.. this will at least let you know if the rig doesn't have enough power. You really need to check the power draw on each power supply to see if they are balanced. Maybe you have more wattage on one power supply and less on the other?
I suspect you should totally removed the driver (using DDU?) and instead of using "Driver is the combo driver trick found on another thread in this forum" I'd use a standard driver and see how it does. Stay stock driver and once you get everything working then you can start tweaking the rig to get better performance.
Right now it doesn't sound like the rig works at all so you need to get basic functions working first.

Doesn't sound electrical as if something was frying that loud I'm sure there would be smoke and a burnt smell. It really sounds like a fan hitting a cable or a piece of tape that's flapping due to the white fan.
Next time you hear it, turn off the white fan really quick and see if the sound stops... You can also power the rig(s) down and do a physical inspection.

if v9.5 works then why change to v9.6? are all your versions up to date and the latest? add this to your .bat file before the miner line: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 I'd also erase your v9.6 and download it again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0

ok i solved that too but now another problem... "ETH - Total Speed: 15 Mh/s, Total Shares: 0, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:02" I dont get any share, does someone know why?
Looks like you are mining ETH at 15 Mh/s, you have no shares, but you don't have any rejected either (which is good)...and you've been mining for 2 seconds?

I noticed my power settings can cause huge fluctuations and also how you are OC'ng the card (if you are)--also var difficulty can change the hashrate. But I never see a flat rope. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are getting a much lower hashrate than your friend.
