161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO on: September 11, 2018, 04:48:25 AM
is your problem is caused by the ICO you've joined doesn't make a profit to you? or you've been cheated by scammers? i think you don't need to give up, you should be carefull and critical for chosing an ICO
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: September 11, 2018, 04:42:05 AM
Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?
i think it's a little bit crazy for me,  Shocked
why you don't sell the token that has high price? it can make money for you, but may be it is better for the future, all your tokens will be expensive more and more
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PURPOSE OF TOKEN? on: September 11, 2018, 04:36:43 AM
Hi guys, this just bother me long time ago, and just popped up recently..

What is the purpose of token?

I can not figure it out because I have one token before and I did not know how to use it and I can not even transfer it to bitcoin. I am just wondering why people keep inventing and creating so much token at all.
I hope I can get POSITIVE response and not some hates and negative one.

Thank you.
Is the token that you mean also one of crypto? I think every token has its own purpose, and now, there are so many altcoins that are in the form of tokens and have different platform bases, if you want to transfer it to bitcoin, make sure first whether the tokens you have are already listed in an exchange? then you can exchange it for eth or bitcoin
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you remember Bitconnect? I lost 3500 dollars in this pyramid! on: September 11, 2018, 04:31:15 AM
Hi, let's remember bitconnect!
This was the most popular cryptocurrency pyramid, in which many lost their money. So, I'm one of them.
I was a fool and I believed that I could make a lot of money. In the end, I lost all my money.
I wonder how many such fools like me? Are there people who have earned on this?

how about NXT?? i also experienced the same thing as bitconnect on NXT, is it possible that NXT will be able to touch the high price where I bought it? i loss so much money on NXT  Embarrassed
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Currency Always Fails on: September 09, 2018, 01:32:07 PM
See:

There Is No Escaping History.  Fiat Currency Eventually Fails.

Notice that this is a critique of fiat money -- not a critique of state-issued money under a gold/silver or other standard.  Fiat money is a rare occurrence in modern history.  (We live in strange times!)  As we can see, the examples found by the author are a small number of short periods here and there.

I have my own critique of gold/silver standards, but that's another issue.
i think so, because everytime fiat currency has loss their value for purchasing any things, at this time, goods are not expensive but the value of fiat currency that has decreased
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: September 09, 2018, 01:27:28 PM
It is highly unlikely that every owner of Bitcoins will all loose access to them,
and thats 21,000,000 bitcoins which wont be fully mined for about another 100 years
and it is true that the lower the circulating supply the higher the value, provided people want to buy it.

The critical amount of Bitcoins lost is hard to compute before it gives diminishing returns but its all subjective and hypothetical at this stage really.

In November 2017 this report came out that just under 4,000,000 coins have been lost forever but the rate of loss will slow down.
http://fortune.com/2017/11/25/lost-bitcoins/
yes, of course, i agree with you, it's really impossible that every owner of bitcoin losing their bitcoin, and all of bitcoin supply loses because of the same problem, it's not make sense bro..  Cheesy
167  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: ETF Proshares Ditolak on: September 09, 2018, 01:19:55 PM
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO on: September 08, 2018, 02:59:34 AM
may be, you should make your own decision because at this time there are so much ICO that have any interesting platform, but, you should look at the information about the project first before you decide to invest, and my suggestion is do not all in your eth for ICO, just use some of your eth
169  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: September 08, 2018, 02:55:05 AM
Let's not be judgemental just because this year has seen several scam ICOs because there are still some legit ICOs that have very potiential project for the world. all you have to do as a crypto enthusiasts is to invest into legit ICOs.
yes, i agree with you, to avoid the scam ICO, we need to be critical of the information about the project, before we decide to invest in the ICO, we must investigate the project first, website, whitepaper and information about the team must be searched as clearly as possible
170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New member, still time to get in on the rocket ship? on: September 06, 2018, 03:25:11 AM
Hello, I am new into the crypto community. I will admit back when bitcoin came out (or I was first hearing of it, 2008-2009?) I was skeptical, I even passed up several opportunities for FREE bit coin offered to me, and I did not take it. I said it was worthless. Here I am 10 years later, 26, working a fast food job, watching the crypto market fly, so now I would love for a shot to get in on this revolution that is inevitably heading our way! The big problem for me, is I currently (like i said I work fast food) don't have big money to invest, the amount of 1 bitcoin is worth more than everything I own if life times so. I currently have a small amount of money invested into dogecoin, due to the cheap prices. I really want to be part of this revolution, I would like to ask, what could a person do to still be able to get in on the changes that are about to take place, without having the financial backing to actually possess the bit coins themselves. I know this is a big question, but I am asking, not for anything other than advise. I research constantly, I just went from 1-450 subscribers on Youtube in 2 days making videos of dogecoin. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I do not expect a simple answer, I am willing to dive, research, learn, and put every minute of time that I am able, to make this happen. My problem is a major lack of guidance...

Thank you, and thank you all for reading!

i think that's a right decision, don't hear about negative information about crypto, crypto will expand anymore and there will more people who know and interesting about crypto, just keep to be optimistic
171  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: September 06, 2018, 03:19:20 AM
The first 10 coins on the coinmarketcap are the best coins that you can invest and make really good money in years come. Bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, zcash, dash, litecoin and some many other that has good capitalization are some of the coins you can actually invest and make good money.

yes, you're right, coinmarketcap.com can be a reference for choosing what crypto is worth for investing because we can find the info about each crypto, such as volume, market cap, price movements, etc.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✅ ✅ [ICO]- The first solution in the World for cardiovascular [CARE] ✅ ✅ on: September 04, 2018, 08:01:34 AM
is this project only holding an ICO phase without pre-sale or private sale? the thread only says that ICO is coming soon, no information about the private sale or pre-sale
173  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: {DISKUSI} Perlukah regulator untuk market crypto? on: September 04, 2018, 07:58:19 AM
saya kira regulator sangat diperlukan untuk menjamin keamanan para user sebuah exchange, hal ini dibutuhkan untuk meminimalisir exchange yang tidak bertanggung jawab saat terjadi masalah seperti terkena hack
174  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: September 04, 2018, 07:55:40 AM
crypto currencies helped me to get all my dreams through ICO and bounty campaigns, for bounty campaigns I wasn't too focused because I knew the results would be a little compared to us being a trader or an investor, so being the investor made my dreams come true,
of course, but to be an ICO participant we must have capital, and to get a lot of profit from the ICO we also should to have a lot of capital,

on the other hand, for the bounty we only need to work, lots of bounties which I think make me get what I want like auctus and oyster, i  join the signature campaign and the rewards is really big, and also the price is high, i get so much dollars from that
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you Think the True Value of Bitcoin Is? on: September 03, 2018, 07:44:14 AM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is working with a trading platform, which we have two different set of people at every point in time to make the system more stronger, therefore the two set of people simply classified as demand and supply..

i think bitcoin isn't working with a trading platform, bitcoin use peer-to-peer system and noted at blockchain. demand and supply is only affects price fluctuations
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: September 03, 2018, 07:36:20 AM
I can agree only in the fact that there are too many alts but we still need some of them. They introduce new projects and innovative ideas

of course because of that, there are so many projects that have their own altcoin, so its altcoin can make easier for using, we should not buy bitcoin first to enjoying the application from the project, we just buy the project's altcoin and then we can use the project's application
177  Economy / Economics / Re: how to save money? on: September 01, 2018, 07:38:21 AM
the most important thing we have to do is differentiate between needs and desires, needs must be a priority for our expenses, the remaining we can use to save. don't be too ambitious to fulfill all our desires
178  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: August 28, 2018, 08:08:52 AM
I think that's a good idea that recycling garbage can made into a blockchain-based project, because recycling garbage will give much benefit for many parties and also can conserve the environment
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Bank Issues Securities on Blockchain! on: August 28, 2018, 07:59:42 AM
if blockchain usage is increasingly expanded and there are more and more banks are issuing securities on the blockchain will result in an increasing price of bitcoin?
180  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: 10 Negara telah menerbitkan Cryptonya Sendiri, akankah menyaingi Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2018, 07:55:55 AM
jika kemunculan crypto dari negara-negara tersebut tetap bersifat sentralis, tetap saja tidak akan bisa mengalahkan bitcoin karena jika masih bersifat sentralis, akan mudah untuk dimanipulasi
