I won't lie, my goal was to become rich, but i became poorer after bad trading strategies. Now, i am more careful. I like the technology and the use of Dapps, but they doesn't seem to be really used except for gambling. And there is a lot trying to copy Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram. But most are only used to try to collect more money. And a lot of people are still skeptical about free money/tokens and their value as they are not created by the governments. That's why it will be really difficult to convince people to use applications with blockchain technology. And the equivalent applications already exist without blockchain technology. Only companies with their private blockchain and applications can maybe make them use it.
I like the idea of the immediate transfer of funds to another person. But i don't really know if people can really use it and exchange the coins easily. And the problem is the volatility of the cryptocurrencies.
Who has really transfer some money with blockchain to a family member in another country? And does this person could exchange it easily in fiat?

I don't really think altcoins season can start from here. It will start after bitcoin finish to drop in price. I think it is just a rebound now. Because the movement of bitcoin seems a little like in 2017, but with a little less intensity. Ethereum movements seems to be like in 2016 compare to BTC. I suppose altcoins season should start on next year. But who knows, only people controlling the crypto market really know it.

What are you going to do with old electronic components and asic miners? As they are surely no more functional. Your city doesn't already recycle thoses components? I don't think that a new coin is needed. Except if when you buy an electronic product, you have to pay indirectly for the recycling of the product. And when you drop it at a recycle company, they give you back some coins in exchange. But can this idea be implemented? The country needs to accept cryptocurrencies first before this project can start to work.

I think, it is possible that we are going to see a bounce back from here. In January 2018, Bitcoin did bounce back near this level to 11000 USDT. But after that just fall lower. But at this time, its value was higher. But i don't think that this time it will go back like in 2017. I don't really know if it will become altcoins season, but we should watch carefully what is going to happen.

Libra can also never appear in the market. It will depend on the governments as they want to be able to control it. And Facebook can't do anything without them.

It will be really difficult for altcoins to reach thoses ATH. We can dream of it. Are they now at their bottom? I don't know, but it is possible.
They can go near their ATH value if the pumpers of Bitcoin pump each altcoin one at a time. But are they going to do it like in the beginning of 2018? I don't really know.

It seems to be the return of the bear market. I can't imagine if Bitcoin return to $3000 what altcoins are going to be worth if the dominance of Bitcoin stay the same.. People did pump bitcoin too much and some are still selling their altcoins for bitcoin as bitcoin is falling too.

It is bad as they are losing more value compare to Bitcoin. And it only increases the dominance of Bitcoin. Only a few altcoins have regain a few more satochis than Bitcoin. It is a game of luck.

For this year, altcoin's future doesn't look good. Most money have left altcoins to buy bitcoin or some stable coins. But there is still some chances to see a recovery of altcoins. But with the increase number of new altcoins, it will be difficult for them to return to their highest price. Some altcoins are going to die.

We maybe won't see any Libra or Facebook coins. Governments and banks don't want to lose the control of the economy. They are going to do what they can to preserve their power.

They are not in the same domain and can't be compared. Each of thoses companies have their own businesses.
Ethereum won't be killed and will stay in the crypto market. I don't know why you are making this comparison.
If Google and other big companies create their own cryptocurrencies, it doesn't mean that they are going to kill Ethereum.
And they surely will have big problems to resolve like Facebook with Libra coin. Which maybe will have to become a real bank to really be able to start distributing its coin.

You can't bet on an altcoin without studying it. And you can't know how much you can get or lose in return. Not every altcoin can give you something and they can disappear too.
You should study a minimum of trading before entering the crypto market. And study how crypto wallets work.
Don't forget that you can lose everything too (hack of exchange, exchange disappear, send at the wrong address, hack of wallets, disappearing of the coin from exchange, disappearing of the coin).

You gave good advices. But some coins like NEO, ONT, KCS, TRX which are giving dividends are good choices too.
And DASH with their masternodes is a good choice. But other masternodes coins are useless.
It is not so easy to find which altcoin can become a gem. And new altcoins are poping in the top 100 coins in this year. Thoses coins are the real winners.
But to choose which coin to hold for a long term, old altcoins are more preferable as new altcoins can disappear more easily.

People transfer altcoins to Bitcoin or USDT. But when they are going to see that Bitcoin can't go higher, they might return back to altcoins. I don't think Bitcoin can go higher. The money only come from altcoins and true believers of thoses altcoins won't sell them for Bitcoin. And there is more chance to see a rise of altcoins that bitcoin as they are at their bottom compare to Bitcoin.

This is surely a good time to by altcoins. Yes, patience and analyze of the market is needed before taking a decision. I also did bought altcoins at a high price. It was a mistake as altcoins have followed the movement of Bitcoin. Sometimes it doesn't work like that, but most of the time. But i think Bitcoin has maybe already reached his highest price at $14000, as dominance of Bitcoin was at its highest level. I don't think its dominance will be bigger as true believers of altcoins projects won't sell their coins at the cheapest price. Money from Bitcoin might one day return to altcoins when people are going to see that Bitcoin can't go higher.

It is risky as Bitcoin is still at a very high price. But some altcoins are worth less than their bottom price. It is not a bad idea to buy altcoins as they might get pumped.

It the coin is still being traded on an exchange and if the servers maintaining the blockchain are still running, then the coin can live his own life like Dogecoin for example.
If the source code of the project is in open source on the internet, another team can take the lead of the coin. If the coin is a token on the Ethereum network, it can't disappear.

Why selling altcoins at the bottom? Because other people are doing it. So it is better to sell after a few profits. Being too greedy and you will see your profits evaporate and become loss. And you investment will become a forced long term investment. People are currently not interested about altcoins and that's why they are leaving altcoins. Only true believers are going to stay. Until there is only true believers, altcoins will continue to fall lower or stay at their current level. People are pumping BTC with their altcoins and that's very dangerous. As one day there will be a crash as usual.

It depends mostly on the team members of the project and the project itself and not about the person who create the announcement. Any project can become a scam, announced by a legendary member or not.
