161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen for Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2020, 12:00:03 PM
As far as I know, Amazon has no ideological issue with Bitcoin. But they don't want to deal with the volatility, legality and tax related issues which can come up if they accept BTC payments directly. And this is where PayPal comes in. Hopefully by mid-2021, PayPal will make it possible to make payments with BTC. That would mean that users would be able to do the same in Amazon, using PayPal.

Now it seems that the price fluctuation that occurs in bitcoin is the main barrier for them to be able to cooperate with bitcoin, because this price movement can trigger differences in every product they sell.

However, it would be different if bitcoin became more stable like USDT, most likely I think Amazon will have no problem working with bitcoin.

Or maybe they have their own strategy if they really want to work with bitcoin as an alternative payment tool later, all of which is impossible.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: November 18, 2020, 11:57:25 AM
The post clearly stated the disadvantages of bitcoin and I can see a lot of folks still defending bitcoin  Grin. I know it is hard to accept that what you like have some bad side but it is nothing unusual even fiat currency had disadvantages such as; fragility, inflation, and changes in public confidence so also bitcoin has disadvantages such as volatility, high transaction fee, false anonymity and difficulty in general acceptability in lieu of a legal tender etc.

For me the only drawback of bitcoin was the mere fact that it was a very volatile currency which makes it also a unique characteristics of bitcoin too. And this was the sole reason that every traders should be keep in mind and not to deny it because we face it a lot. And this was also the major challenge in bitcoin that we should overcome to be able to generate an income from here. Even bitcoin has a good side still we can't deny that it also has a bad side.

Good and bad sides will always exist in a business, especially in the financial sector, but in terms of benefits and principles, bitcoin remains unchanged. Because basically bitcoin exists as a tool for alternative transactions from conventional transactions.

Of course, as we know now that some have started to accept bitcoin, like paypal and others, it is not impossible that the banking system will also be able to cooperate in the near future.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 18, 2020, 11:52:06 AM
Long HODL won't make an assurance that you will gain profit out of it and sometimes you may miss some good opportunities to earn. We have different experience about it but for me I find it not good.

Reference is needed if we want to go long HODL, because the movement is still fluctuating. PUMP and DUMP will always be there and I think a lot of things are needed to really make the decision to want to long HODL.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: November 18, 2020, 11:47:18 AM
Hi guys ! My name’s Dave.
ข่าวกีฬา
Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

I think this question is very irrelevant to ask, because there will always be positive and negative sides when we are going to do anything, including business finance (everyone has seen this) and including yourself.

What benefits can you do when asking about money laundering, there have been many optimizations that can be prevented from being able to try money laundering. As we know, KYC is one way.

Without KYC in the local exchange we will not be able to withdraw the amount we want because it has become the rule, of course this is one of the ways to prevent money laundering from happening.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021? on: November 18, 2020, 11:27:34 AM
Bitcoin now touch $18k value which is near at the last ATH value. However there are some people that predicts more than the value of last time ATH.

Citibank Executive Says Bitcoin Will Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021

Citibank Group’s Global head of Citifxtechnicals product, Tom Fitzpatrick expects to see the price of bitcoin peaking at $318,000 by end of 2021. Although he concedes that his prediction might seem improbable, Fitzpatrick argues that such a surge will still be the weakest rally for the digital asset when compared to other assets such as gold. He also adds that bitcoin is all about the”unthinkable rallies followed by painful corrections.” Bitcoin will see huge price swings before finally settling at the predicted price suggests Fitzpatrick.

The Citibank boss cites some of bitcoin’s key attributes which include the digital currency’s “limited supply, ease of movement across borders, and opaque ownership.”

https://news.bitcoin.com/citibank-executive-says-bitcoin-will-trade-at-318000-by-end-of-2021/

Is there any truth in what Citibank Executive said? What  do you think guys?

It seems too far if we are targeting bitcoin to strengthen up to $ 318k by the end of 2021, because as we know currently bitcoin movement is indeed in a very positive condition. Because many maybe one of them apart from cooperation with paypal as well as a vaccine that looks more positive in order to prevent the greater transmission of the corona virus is also a separate impact for the strengthening of bitcoin.

I think at least bitcoin should come back to break the $ 20k price first to repeat whether it can break back into the $ 35k price later, of course this would be better to focus on first I think.

167  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [Diskusi] Analisa Teknikal Bitcoin buat day trader on: November 15, 2020, 01:27:28 PM
~snip~

Gak WeDe Gak asik

168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be dumping soon - What do you say regarding the chart? on: November 15, 2020, 01:12:35 PM
In my opinion, no one predicts or provides the actual or correct information about Bitcoin, because past of the year, we see hop the bitcoin ups and downs. therefore, it will be increasing or decreasing any time. But, I think, it will take the better position before the previous years.

We cannot just look at the market habits that occur in the following year, because every year there are different factors, so it is not certain that at the end of this year the movement of bitcoin will be bearish (dump). One of the impacts of paypal working with bitcoin is also one of the things that we need to discuss because this will also have a huge impact on the movement of bitcoin.

I think the word dump is less rational with the previous positive news, maybe if it is said to be a correction it could happen, if bitcoin can re-break the lowest price at 15k as a strong support area at the moment.

It is interesting to discuss it, it seems that if you look at the current chart it is not impossible that bitcoin will be corrected again with a possible move in the 15k area as a support foothold that must be broken if bitcoin is going to experience the dump.

Of course, the foothold to get a pulback in the new target area of resistance at 20k can occur in the near future, 15k as a support point and 20k as a target area that could occur.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 12:49:41 PM
People tend to be overly enthusiastic and overly gloomy at times. I remember famous traders who kept saying that we have to go to 1k for the bear market to end, completely ignoring the fact that we were already at 80% loss in the 3k level. Their predictions basically pointed to a 95% loss of value and they dared to call themselves Bitcoin believers and people who are there for the long run. That said, 100k is not completely unrealistic if more institutional investors decide to allocate 1% in Bitcoin.

Indeed, at the time of yesterday, many predicted that the price movement in November could allow it to return to the price of $ 8600, but this was broken when PayPal agreed to cooperate with bitcoin.

Of course this is one of the things that has a significant impact on bitcoin price movements, coupled with the positive covid-19 vaccine which is likely to be applied in various countries.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal finally allowed BTC on: November 15, 2020, 12:40:43 PM
With this kind of news on the air, we can reach up to $20,000 per BTC just before the end of this year, or maybe it will lead to even more high price because PayPal is not just some small companies in regards to online payment, It is one of the trusted online payment out there. in fact, for me, it is the top one. The other companies will follow them if they see PayPal is taking the lead.

Indeed, it seems that there is a positive impact that occurs because paypal has collaborated to use bitcoin, of course it is a good thing for the positive trend movement that occurs because 15k has been penetrated.

It is not impossible if the price of bitcoin could possibly reach 20k.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT a replacement to the Stock Market/ traditional investments on: November 12, 2020, 10:17:55 PM
I don't recommend for anybody to replace their stocks with cryptos. It's always the best to have them both. But for someone that likes to take risk more than I could, I'm good to crypto only combination.
I have other traditional investments but not with stocks anymore. But if somebody decides to go all for crypto, he has to make sure that he knows what he do.

It is better to invest in both of them, because as we all know the price movement in crypto itself is very significant, of course this must also be aware of how much risk we can get when using it.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: November 12, 2020, 10:01:28 PM
We have seen numerous times people complain about unsolicited charges by banks which is not almost possible in cryptocurrencies if you're to save your money on Bitcoin or any other valuable cryptocurrency.

It begs me to ask this question; is it possible for one to move physical currencies to Crypto exchanges without passing through the Bank?
In the present we have many e wallet that accpeting bitcoin not only the banks. We can now sell and buy bitcoin using the e wallet unlike in the past it very limited and its hard to finde trusted e wallet. The money transactions for now is easy and we have many choices.

Indeed, in some countries ATMs have also been implemented so that we can get money with bitcoin, there are also several shops that provide payments with bitcoin. Hopefully other countries will also implement the same payment system as bitcoin so that bitcoin can become a growing volume that can make it an alternative payment method besides the payment method currently applied by various countries, of course this is not something that cannot be done in the future.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American election is nothing to do with BTC on: November 12, 2020, 09:39:25 PM
The election is going to have a lot of impact in the price of bitcoin. With the economy recovering under Biden administration, we will be seeing the price of US dollar rising. It has never been this low compared to past few years before trump administration! Also, Trump delayed the stimulus package and was supposed to be distributed after the election. With Biden presidency, we are expecting to receive it anytime soon (trump has yet to concede though). The stimulus might encourage people to invest more in bitcoin.
And we expect the stocks to start rallying and bitcoin might also start doing the same.
These are expectations and hope you have on the new president but lets wait and see how they can help the market or whether they will be successful in helping the economy recover. I have my doubts whether that can be done anytime soon and stimulus package alone will not help anything.
Give them a few more months and we will see how his policies will affect the market.

It takes time to be able to see both the performance and policies that will be implemented by Biden in the future, of course this will also have a little impact on bitcoin price movements. Because it is possible that it will have an impact on the USD price which can have an effect on bitcoin later.

175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank digital currencies on: October 30, 2020, 02:54:06 PM
Why do you think Central banks around the world are rushing to develop their own digital currencies? Is it a threat to bitcoin?

As we know, currently the pandemic is in a state of danger in the world, of course, this is very influential for the economic conditions of each country, because many issues say that several countries have experienced recession due to a worsening economy.

Of course, with a digital currency it is hoped that it can reduce the economic burden of a weakening national currency, this is one of the right ways considering that digital currency is currently very popular in the world.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Does Bitcoin Decouple From Gold? on: October 30, 2020, 08:59:14 AM
I have a fair amount of gold bullion built up and have been seriously thinking of putting some of it into Bitcoin.

I am new to Bitcoin so don't have the fluctuation patterns down. From what I can tell it seems to tightly correlate with gold. Under what circumstances may bitcoin, ideally for me, go down while gold goes up? Any conjecture on this? Thanks.

I think bitcoin is not the same as gold, because gold is the precious metal there is no certain amount of the total circulating supply that can be calculated, of course this is because everything is on the real side where it is actually mined.

However, the bitcoin we know has seen how much the total supply has been circulated and it seems that it will not be easy to add to the total supply that already exists, so this is what causes the price of bitcoin to be more expensive, because the less the total supply provided, the smaller the miners will get so that the movement of demand will increase.

Can it be side by side? I think it is possible that in the future bitcoin and gold will coexist, because each other's needs are urgently needed in the future for both civilians and the state.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 30, 2020, 08:49:43 AM
I don't even want to imagine, honestly when that happens I will completely stop using btc concerning anything transfer, we have several other project are have very cheap transaction fees, i will buy btc and sell when the price is good, won't use it to transfer funds same as eth, they are becoming too expensive and the opposite of what crypto represent interns of fees.

In fact, it is natural if we use the USD calculation in our calculations, because every price increases the Fee price in USD will also increase, but the calculation of the bitcoin / altcoin unit doesn't actually change,

Of course, this is something we really need to take into account carefully, especially if you want to invest a certain amount of funds in bitcoin.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: prepare your wallet before the next bull run on: October 30, 2020, 08:38:40 AM
There are many steps that must occur to be able to raise bitcoin, with the current technical position, the lowest price movement is at 12k, but if you look at the fee itself, it is still normal at $ 5- $ 10.

This is actually an individual decision and nothing is different, it's just that if you calculate it based on the dollar calculation it will be different, but in terms of bitcoin calculations, I think it will stay between 0.001 btc
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: October 30, 2020, 08:34:04 AM
Getting information nowadays is not that hard to thanks to the Internet. Understanding the basic concepts of Bitcoin is easy as long as once person are eager to learn. There are numerous published books about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, there are also tons of sites that gives info about cryptocurrencies.

There is a lot of information that references bitcoin at this time, all the things we want to find we can get directly from local news that already exists in your country and from the internet.

Of course this makes it easier for us to get to know bitcoin from basic to advanced, both from the concept being carried out and the system and developments that occur.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make your choice now! on: October 30, 2020, 08:30:23 AM
Continue with your job if it doesn't conflict with your personality. Sometimes some people stay with jobs because of the necessities of life even though they're not happy with their jobs (especially for employees). Trading is just a new profitable hobby and can't be catogorized as a job. So between job and trading there are different things that one can't choose.

We cannot equate trading with work, but if we categorize it as a hobby, things can happen. However, there are a few things that are different this year, of course this is because the pandemic that occurred is not impossible that many jobs have been cut so that unemployment has increased.

one way to stay afloat in current conditions is of course trading can be an alternative, some have even run it as passive income. Of course this is the choice of everyone, because the individual person and the course of profits and losses can vary
