161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a can of Coca-Cola for 500$ - it's cheap on: February 25, 2018, 01:12:04 PM
Coca cola destroys your enamel. It's a drink for dumb people who don't know how to prepare healthy juice with vitamins on their own.
I have blender, juice squeezer and I f*ck corporations which destroy the world.

I hate corporations that destroy the world too and i was so fcking happy to read your post. The problem in the world is there are too many people willing to buy semi-poison liquid.

Coca-cola has an absurd amount of phosphoric acid in it.

Bitcoin is not cheap at 6000$. It is make-believe toy money with no real value apart from some novelty value for people who like to have cryptos for fun.

When it is possible to convert your BTC back to Euro or USD, i don't see how it is toy money?

It is like have store-credit. If the store closes, or if the store no longer has goods you want, you do not have any value anymore
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: February 25, 2018, 01:10:53 PM
It seems to be just hovering around the $10000 mark for the whole entire day.
Looks kind of scared to cross over that mark to far.
Crypto is a strange beast and I would like to believe this is the reason why the big banks are not putting too much confidence into it having it being pushed over the edge enough for them to use it on a daily basis such as their other assets they hold for the public in general.

But now it has consistently dipped below again - there is not a real support when looking at the volumes
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 25, 2018, 01:09:40 PM
The price of Bitcoin is not likely to drop to $ 4000.Instead, the price will increase.Last week the price dropped to $ 6000.But now it has started to increase.Experts predict that this year the price of bitcoin will increase to $ 40000.

You just got lucky that a small abberration kept you above the trendline longer than the trend indicated. It will get to the 4000 just wait and see
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: February 25, 2018, 01:08:14 PM
The government of India said that they are going to eliminate the usage of cryptocurrencies but they HAVE NOT banned it yet. If you look closely to the statement of finance minister of India, he says

Wrong interpretation: Bitcoin is illegal.
Correct interpretation: Bitcoin cannot be used as legal tender. Bitcoin cannot be used for illegitimate activities.

* No, India Isn’t Banning Bitcoin as Mainstream Media Gets it Wrong [Again].

Moral of the story: Never trust the stories from the media.

But then you are agreeing that Bitcoin is not legal tender
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: February 13, 2018, 12:24:51 PM
BTC is as much an investment as a stock!

If the government legalized it, it would be valuable!

Not true.

With a stock, you actually own a part of the company.

With BTC you own absolutely nothing.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / There is no FUD. There is only denial. on: February 13, 2018, 12:23:12 PM
"FUD" screams many in here - they are so afraid that negative news will further increase their losses on their Bitcoin "investment".

They desperately hope that by screaming "FUD" the price will magically be pumped again.

But what they call "FUD" is often just plain old truth and facts. And no amount of screaming will change reality.

Reality is that Bitcoin has proven beyond any doubt that it does not work as a currency.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please stop selling! on: February 13, 2018, 12:19:20 PM
Every day I see bitcoin going down even more. I don't understand why is it happening. Selling now is betraying the bitcoin's values as well as losing a lot of money. Why don't we all just calm down and at least stop selling our coins? Bitcoin's destiny is in our hands. If we believe it's a great coin then it indeed is a great one. If we tell others how good bitcoin and other coins are then they are going to believe in it themselves and it will help the market to recover.
If we, however, decide that everything is doomed then it indeed will be so! Why not to hope for the better and try to hold (if not buy) our funds, so that we are the ones who win rather than lose?
I am even thinking about making a flash-mob in facebook. For example, we all could post hashtagged message '#iamholdingbtc'. We can change the things for the best. But we do have to believe in it and do something, not just let the stupid news ruin our world.
Who's with me on this?
I bought bitcoins now, recently the price of the bitcoin has been in turmoil, the price dropped a lot, I lost a lot,
I don't know what to do, I want to sell my COINS, but I will lose a lot of money.
My friend asked me to hold my bitcoin patiently, and it will soon recover.

Well what your friend told you was true, we can't do anything but to hold our bitcoins if we don't want to lose a lot, it is about making wise decisions, we already lost a lot because of this huge price drop that happened and selling early would make the situation worst than ever, therefore selling is not an option right now. Selling in DUMP price would actually make the price of bitcoin hard times on rising.

Not true.

You can choose to hold - but if the price in future just continues to go down (which is very likely), your losses will only become bigger if you wait
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: February 13, 2018, 12:17:52 PM
What i just feel after reading that comparison is just the fear that some people have because they lost the train of earlier adopters and now want to extol the technology while degrade bitcoin as it is...nothing new, the good news for all of them is that is not so late, they still can come with all of us in this long travel....

Then you clearly have not understood the comparison.

The point is that the technology can be very good - but that does not automatically mean the product (Bitcoin) realistically has a high price
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happen if most of county banned Bitcoin?? on: February 13, 2018, 12:03:06 PM
I saw that today " Thailand: Central Bank Asks All Banks To Avoid Crypto, Pending Regulations "  Huh

Only countries with poor law-enforcement will not regulate Bitcoin. Most countries in the world will end up regulating it.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: February 13, 2018, 12:00:27 PM
So you're going to join the shills from the media in trying to say how Bitcoin is worthless and how it is going to crash and burn. Bitcoin has died so many times I think it can get through 'dying' again.

Bitcoin does have value as well, so your claim about that is just simply invalid. Check out the exchanges bud.

You can also find people who will pay 100s of USD for an old Pokemon card. That does not mean Pokemon cards holds value or is a good investment object.

Bitcoin had its chance - and when the pressure really came on it crumbled by not being able to deliver on neither being a currency nor a store of value nor anything else.

Your friend is wrong.

You can chose to sell now and have a big lost.

Or you can wait and have an even bigger loss.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: February 13, 2018, 11:57:39 AM
Most of the crypto price consists of speculative value. I'm sure that 95% of people involved would never invest in bitcoin or altcoins if they knew the price would be fixed. Hence, cancer pills of certain brand (which would be in limited supply despite the ingredient being open source) would be valuable if you could trade them online and make money flipping them with easy access available to everyone. People love gambling, stock markets, penny stocks, online casionos, sports betting are all blossoming and there's a lot of speculation hungry money in the world.

And by this you also say that Bitcoin is in essence worthless - and only holds whichever low price people emotionally attach to it - like the price of old pokemon cards
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: February 13, 2018, 11:30:18 AM
A very very good explanation as to why BTC will crash even though blockchain is a good tehnology.

If you do not want to read the full link below, here is the key part of the comparison:

"… imagine that someone had found a cure for cancer and posted the step-by-step instructions on how to make it on-line, freely available for anyone to use.
Now imagine that the same person also created a product called Cancer-Pill using their own instructions, trade marked it, and started selling it to the highest bidders.

I think we can all agree a cure for cancer is immensely valuable to society (blockchain may or may not be, we still have to see), however, how much is a Cancer-Pill worth?
"

Clearly Bitcoin is like cancer-pill - and we have already seen thousands of new coins (cancer-pills) appear. Eventually their price will be almost zero.

The full explanation can be found here: http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/2018/01/02/why-bitcoin-is-stupid/

.... which of course means the same for the alt-coins
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?! on: February 13, 2018, 11:27:29 AM
this is a challenge for bitcoin holders to understand how the rules in the bitcoin world, not only see the price rise alone, but learn also about the price that will drop suddenly as it is today, which is certainly a very ordinary and natural thing happened.

there is nothing "normal" and "ordinary" about the BTC price developments. It is only bitcoin "investors" who are afraid to lose their money who keeps telling themselves that in order to sleep at night.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 13, 2018, 11:19:02 AM
There is no chance the price will go way deeper.

That is what people in here said when it dropped to 15.000

Then they said it at 12.000

Then they said it at 10.000

Then they said it at 8.000

They even said it at 6.000 just before it popped below that level too at last bottom....

and so on....and so on....
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 13, 2018, 11:10:26 AM
You are a week too late with your blatantly fake news ! For your information, Bitcoin price is clearly recovering, with a strong resistance at 8000$, so what you are saying is just pure smoke.

recovering? you are delusional - you are still almost 60% down compared to the peak.....

Noone knows what will happen to the price of bitcoin.but as what happening in the price i think it will not go down to $5000.it will rise up but just slowly.but if the price will go down its a chance for investors and for us to invest in bitcoin.

It will go even lower - 4000 is next
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swedish bank forbids 31000 employees from investing in Bitcoin or crypto on: February 13, 2018, 10:41:12 AM
world is changing rapidly but banks are still in stoneage

The bank is clearly feeling some level of prudent responsibility unlike people in here
180  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: February 13, 2018, 10:38:03 AM

It is the end of crypto ignorance. And the start of crypto education. The practical aspect.

crypto education will lead the educated to realize BTC will never be a success, and the price continues downwards
