162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is draining the altcoins on: December 02, 2017, 10:58:30 AM
This is not entirely true, I have seen that in the whole the value in $ of most alts is kind of rising as well, even though not as spectacular as Bitcoin.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are best day trading alts on: December 02, 2017, 10:57:06 AM
I think nothing beats EMC2 as for daytrading. Iy has a nice volatility can an experienced trades can well use to make nice profits.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zencash: Excellent potential? on: December 02, 2017, 10:56:00 AM
I am completely in favor of Zencash, I have bought a few when it was quite cheaper and I now just regret I didn't buy even more.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your target with your alts profits on: December 02, 2017, 10:54:06 AM
My target is to get 1 Million $, I think I don't need more to live a decent life. Everything more I would get would stay in cryptos.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Universa be bigger than Ethereum, NEO, and waves? on: December 02, 2017, 10:50:47 AM
I am always very skeptical when someone announces to be the new Ethereum or whatever. After all, most of the project declare it and most of them fail.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect - Is there any chance for BitConnect to fail? on: December 02, 2017, 10:46:49 AM
Some people say BitConnect is a scam some say it is legitimate, what do you think? I've read many articles about it and I still not understand how it actually works.
There is absolutely no chance for BitConnect not to fail.

Just do the Math.

If the interest that they promise was real, there would be more money in BitConnect than in the entire rest of the world in a very short time.

Why would they do the math, if this would kill their dream of becoming infinitely rich by doing nothing? Eventually, people sometimes get killed by dreams.

lol, really sad this day people invest at some scam ponzi project and believe that a real project, and in the other hand sometimes people not event bat an eye to real project cause dont have "daily" profit

Exactly. One of the cases is the lack of interest of "inverstors" for Bancor, which just because of its nature cannot be used for pump&dumps. And it is a long term project.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY is a preference to dag-technology, like a BYTEBALL or IOTA? on: December 02, 2017, 10:42:46 AM
BYTEBALL is obviously a far better project and is a far better investment from here.

IOta is untested and until it has the training wheels removed and no serious attacks are successful from many months its not even a proven functional design.

I would take byteball as a better bet from here any day.

You're probably right. Another thing is that the Byteball and IOTA technology is quite similar, as well as their valuation potential. But Byteball has much lower market cap right now, which means that the potential gain is also much bigger.

More people talk about the byteball, but Iota could also have the potential. Could you please point out the main differences?

easy-pizy Cool

Byteball

- the ordering of transactions is based on main chain
- there is no chance of orphaning
- there are deterministic criteria when a transaction becomes final
- has multiple assets and smart contracts
- there are assets that are transferred privately

Iota

IOTA uses PoW
parts of the DAG can be orphaned
there are no exact criteria, it is still probabilistic, based on intuition
is a single token currency with only plain payments
all payments are public

is that from byteball-wiki

I think this comparison tells it all Smiley I would add that for Iota there is some suspicion of foul play as the price discovery mechanism is concerned - it basically appeared on the market with 2 billions of capitalisation, which is unreal.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: November 24, 2017, 01:52:16 PM
Does anyone out there know of a vehicle for shorting Bitconnect?

I've done a bit of digging but the amount of exchanges trading BCC is so limited and finding a margin trading platform for Bitconnect is even harder. Any ideas?

I'm sorry I'm replying to this question so late,  but didn't see any responses to it. Has such a vehicle or system to successfully short this coin been identified?
This seems like exactly the way to treat these intricate scams, that we all know are going to end, by design.

I too would be interested in something like that. But I am afrait it is not simple to find. If it were listed on Poloniex you could do it there.

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is $8000, ICOs MUST increase our token/coins on: November 24, 2017, 01:45:04 PM
It is out of goodwill if the project decides to, it is not an entitlement. Are you willing to decrease your coins if BTC price go down?
Yeah exactly, I don't see why should anyone do that. For example if you a 'good' with bitcoin when it was $1000, now are you going to ask that merchant to give you 8 more 'goods' because BTC's price has increase 8 times. This is completely illogical argument by OP IMO.
I sold some Bitcoin for $1000, maybe I can get an extra $7000 per coin now? And then another extra $10k next year? Cheesy

I'm stunned as some people can have such a childish way to apply logic in any way possible to fit their conveniences. That's beyond my understanding.  Cheesy
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] BIRDCHAIN - IM App That Sells Your Unused SMS on: November 24, 2017, 01:36:04 PM
The problem which I see in SMS is that they are basically not necessary any more to anyone who has a flat internet access on their mobile phone - too many messengers, whatsapp etc to send free messages. So long term I could see a problem with your business model, if SMS should just go extinct.

People do not send SMS. Companies do and they pay top dollar for the service. I am not talking about phones of employees. I am talking about billions and trillions of automatically sent transactional and promotional messages. They are send through applications, thus the name application-2-person (A2P).

Person-2-person SMS are dying. Nobody uses them. That is why we offer to sell them to companies. In this way, people will get paid for selling something they do not need, and companies will save up to 6 times on A2P SMS service.

Wow, THIS is an answer, which is radically changing my judgment on this project. Now I will have to study it deeper.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] CryoGen - Advanced cryopreservation technologies. (1% of Tokens Issued) on: November 24, 2017, 01:33:34 PM
I would really urge the bounty manager to give feedback to its supporters the bounty hunters or he might as some point lose them, which would a pity sice this project is so cool. (hybernating-cool actually Smiley )
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY is a preference to dag-technology, like a BYTEBALL or IOTA? on: November 23, 2017, 01:16:19 AM
Can somebody explain me why is DAG better then blokchain? How It will affect other currencies (ETH,BTC)?
So firstly, DAG is a block free technology. Without miners and their influence on a network. Scalability isn't a problem in cryptos based on DAG.  Confirmation time is faster because you mustn't wait than your transaction  is placed to a blockchain. Moreover all transaction fees (byteball) go to other users (Iota has zero fees). A lot of wealth from bitcoin ecosystem earn energy companies

Yes, the low fees or zero fees and a much better scalability are the true winning points. By the way, someon can tell me which are exactly the fees at Byteball?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: November 23, 2017, 01:10:47 AM
Well, if even Ponzicoin managed to stay alive for years and thrive, why not would BCC manage to do the same? Wink

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect - Is there any chance for BitConnect to fail? on: November 23, 2017, 01:05:00 AM
Ponzi schemes do usually well until they have sucked in all the people who are available to be sucked in. The few first to enter get rich, the last many pay for all.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is POW token a scam? on: November 23, 2017, 01:00:32 AM
"YOUR BALANCE: 91,128 POW 'LITE'
(Currently worth: 10039.56 USD) "  oma gad !

You are very lucky! My 60,222 POW "LITE" are only 0.92 USD worth. You must have got a much higher quality POW Llite or your wallet is magic. If you want I can sell you all my 60,222 for just 1000 USD, perhaps in you wallet they become 85000 USD.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is $8000, ICOs MUST increase our token/coins on: November 23, 2017, 12:55:38 AM
if the sittuation got reverse, the price of bitcoin droping maybe for some reason, do you mind if you get less token ? and some ico maybe have fixed price for example 1 bitcoin equal to 100 token no matter how much the price of i btc is 1k or 10k usd you still get 100 token instead

That's a good answer  Cheesy I cannot imagine a queue of people lining up to ask for their bounties to be dimished because the Bitcoin has tanked Smiley))
WHich organ some people use for thinking is still a mystery for me.

I have been rising in rank to Member already one week ago, but it is still not reported on the spreadsheet, which in fact has not been yet updated at all. It seems there is nobody actually taking care of this campaign.
