161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: in terms of what makes the bitcoin price rising again? on: February 24, 2018, 09:02:42 AM
right now the bitcoin price is still 10k up and down no more than that, in addition to the increasing market demand that keeps the price up is another element that can make bitcoin prices rise again at least like the highest price ago?

let's share your opinion here?

It simply supply and demand, we need to have huge demands and small amount of supply that will circulate worldwide.

here are the factors and activities that may affect bitcoin price.

*Buy-and-Hold investment purchases
*Retail exchange traders
*Government and Central Bank Statements
*Incomprehensible Legalese
*Talk of Taxation
*Early adopters “cashing out” to fiat
*etc.

This is based on my own research.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wallet on: February 24, 2018, 04:55:27 AM
coins.ph is not a bitcoin wallet, it is more like a bitcoin account. it has some features of a wallet obviously, such a letting you send and receive bitcoin. but you have been doing it through a third party. it is something like Coinbase!

if you want a bitcoin wallet then use a bitcoin wallet.
if you want the benefits of a full verifying node then install bitcoin core.
if you can't and want a light (SPV) wallet then choose Electrum.
for cold storage you can use bitaddress.org for creating paper wallets
and for hardware wallets you can use Trezor.
read this for more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0

This comment clearly stated what you need to store your bitcoin safely, also you can use a external storage called nano ledger this will allow you to maximize the security of your bitcoin. Do not store all of your bitcoin to coins.ph this platform are getting a huge fees in transferring and buying bitcoin you should use coinbase.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: February 24, 2018, 04:50:34 AM

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.

In our country this is the best way in paying to bought a liquid ecstasy, last month a news was broadcast that some chinese drug dealer caught by the cyber crime police the police get lots of lots of drugs including cocaine, and the police found out that this drug dealer are using a website platform that allows buyer to buy using bitcoin.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we all please accept.. on: February 24, 2018, 02:32:34 AM
Accept the fact that most of governments will oppose crypto currency. Obviously there are some countries who have decided to embrace the future, but let's face it, most of governments will stand against. Who likes their currency to be weaken? Every time a stupid country opposes bitcoin, there is so much fud and a great price drop.

China bans mining

South Korea will not ban crypto but obviously does not welcome it

India banning crypto

I fully expected this resistance from governments.

Don't be surprised if more countries come out against bitcoin

Yes should accept the fact that crypto will disappear in just a blink of an eye if the government give their legal action about this to stop bitcoin worldwide, we can not do anything but to accept and follow.
165  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Requirements too difficult to JR. Members on: February 24, 2018, 02:27:58 AM
So I joined a signature campaign and they removed JR. Member bounties. Now I am having a problem on how to be a Member ranked. I just learned that I need 10 merits to have a member rank. So to any JR. Member here, let's do our best to make quality content so that someone will recognize our efforts in making our community better.

If anyone can provide a link to people giving merits after doing something good or productive please give link so I can earn merits not by asking people but because of my effort and for JR. Members to have a reference too.

Thank you so much. Have a nice day  Smiley
I already a member rank and i think gaining a 100 merits is so difficult achieved because of the language barrier   and lack of knowledge about crypto and even constructing a very good post, they are meriting because they know the post its because the post is constructive, have sense, constructive, on topic and good writing.

167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to find lost bitcoins? on: February 23, 2018, 11:15:19 AM
Millions of bitcoins are considered lost. Who will find them?

No one can do that except the the owner who lost or forgotten it, many bitcoins are already burn in an old hard drives, the owner died and the private key is lost, this are the bitcoin that will not retrieve and recover this will forgotten and lost forever.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: February 23, 2018, 02:57:04 AM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

I heard it first from my professor back in college Why regret? you already involved to this you should not do the same mistake again so start again and make things happen do the things you did not do that time so you will not regret anything at the end.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin back to its own rhythm again? on: February 23, 2018, 02:15:09 AM
Since last couple of weeks we see that bitcoin price is going down and down.
Is bitcoin price back to the normal and touch the highest by the end of the year ?
Is it again creating the new milestone?

The huge price form last month according to traders and market enthusiast by reading the chart they say its not normal but this month the chart and the value of bitcoin is now normal and healthy. but if you are thinking that is a rhythm we should wait for the big rise again?
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: February 23, 2018, 01:53:02 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that

This is what you called all-in in gambling, i never do this today maybe in dip but i do not want to invest a thing that i cant afford to loss, i admire you for your positivity good luck hope you made a right decisions.
171  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What are the best exchanges? on: February 23, 2018, 01:45:05 AM
Ive been using poloniex with no issues but i keep hearing its not good. Whats the general concensus on the best exchanges?

I used binance its smooth working and no issues as of now, I did not try other exchanges but i read lots of article regarding exchanges most of them are vulnerable in hacking, so the best practice here is not to store lots of money in exchanges because we will end up loser. i read on the news about exchanges being hacked no one get their funds from the owner.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still exist in your country? on: February 23, 2018, 01:27:59 AM
I wonder, that the other country didnt accept bitcoin.

I have a bad feelings that someday bitcoin will be banned in our country, because of the actions of some banks here are against bitcoin some of them are not accepting bitcoin and if your bank account tracked that has a bitcoin transaction on it, the bank will kill you and your account will be forced closed.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could hit $50,000 by end of 2018? on: February 22, 2018, 10:40:58 AM
i saw different recommended article in google about bitcoin that it will hit $50,000 in the end of 2018
as of now there are a lot of prediction about price some say it could hit more than that and in 2020 more than $1,000,000
in 2020 there a possibility of sudden price jump again because of the next halving but we are still not sure if it could hit more than $1,000,000
in my observation when price start to drop there a lot of bad news that will discourage and make panic to the holder as of now i dont see any bad news about bitcoin like getting ban or something all i see now is price prediction that will encourage new to bitcoin to invest more and the current investor to HODL .
my question is do you think this is the start of the price rise until the end of this year before it reach the expected price of $50,000 ?

Hope this will happen, but you cant deny the fact that bitcoin can reached 50k mark but it will take time or even years i have read lots of article regarding this, lots of bitcoin investors speculate that bitcoin will grow 3x its value from last december or even more.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: February 22, 2018, 10:35:01 AM
In our country media is controlling the crypto community because lots of fake news are broadcast those fake news become real because of the power of media, for example last month international network broadcast that bitcoin is a huge scam so in the eye and ear of ordinary people who did not know what is real bitcoin, his thinking will automatically adopt that bitcoin is a real scam.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are more on Airdrops/bounties nowadays. No more interest in investing? on: February 22, 2018, 06:57:35 AM
This is an observation. It seems people who want extra money/passive income
engage with crypto not thru investing money but thru bounty and airdrop hunting.
I think this is not healthy for crypto market in general. Very few capital flowing in, but massive
cashouts.

What do you think?

This is for real but you cant deny the fact this small participants of airdrops and bounties has big role in ico in spreading news and advertising about specific ico. they join on campaign because they cant afford to invest a big money so their purpose is to work and earn.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if this guy with 96,651 BTC suddenly cashes out? on: February 22, 2018, 06:33:23 AM
https://blockchain.info/address/3Cbq7aT1tY8kMxWLbitaG7yT6bPbKChq64

Currently circulating supply for Bitcoin is 16,874,375 BTC.

Does this mean an insignificant drop of ca. 0.57%?

Wow this is guy is rich yes this will have an effect to the value of bitcoin if this guy sell it, it will add to the total circulating supply, how did you get the .57$ drop? the .57% of the current bitcoin circulation is 296041 btc? i want to know what is the computation of this thank you.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets of Whales? on: February 22, 2018, 06:09:26 AM
"Like most hedge fund managers specializing in cryptocurrencies, Samani constantly tracks trading activity of addresses known to belong to the biggest investors in the coins he holds. (Although bitcoin transactions are designed to be anonymous, each one is associated with a coded address that can be seen by anyone.) When he sees activity, Samani immediately calls the likely sellers and can often get information on motivations behind their sales and their trading plans, he says."

Is there any resource to find the list of the biggest investors in the coins? Or any addresses that are known as "Whales?"

I am a fan of the big investors and i like to watch their account going down and up using ethplorer, i am using this to see their hold tokens and the value of each tokens for example this one https://ethplorer.io/address/0x56ae76573ec54754bc5b6a8cbf04bbd7dc86b0a0 you will see that he holds a billion dollar value of coins.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: February 22, 2018, 05:32:58 AM
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

What? hope this is available in our country. but i think this is not good idea in our country because of the small transaction of different platform it will take 3 hours confirming the transaction the another 30 mins delivery.. you will died hungry if this happen.
