Another lesson that proves true the old adage that if you don't own the Private Keys you don't own the coins. Why anyone would still keep coins on an exchange when this has happened time and time again is beyond me. I won't keep my coins on any exchange beyond them being tied up in a trade. I would not even keep my coins on Binance or Coinbase. You never know what can happen and there is no deposit insurance.

Tron is an interesting coin and seems to be fighting it out with EOS for domination of the gaming industry. Whether it becomes the dominant coin of that niche the way that Ethereum has managed to dominate capital raising or it becomes an also ran like NEO where people are shifting projects to other blockchains remains to be seen. Either way it probably will throw up some trading opportunities in the interim.

Just like many things in life, those that got there ahead of anyone else and invested time and effort when others saw no value get the lions share of the rewards. I do not begrudge those that had the foresight to get involved at the beginning from growing rich of their early adoption. Whether the first million coins were mined by Satoshi or not make no difference to what Bitcoin is now.

I always felt that mining entailed a great deal of risk. You have so many things beyond your control such as the price of the coin and advances in miner technology and you have an often lengthy time horizon before you will actually turn a profit on your investment. I always felt that their were easier ways to make cryptocurrency than actually mining.

The great promise of the blockchain has been decentralisation and the democratisation of finance. Unfortunately we live in a World where Governments and Regulators are terrified of people being able to operate outside their control. They like markets made up of large monolithic players that they can use to force their will on the market. It is going to be interesting watching when one of the monoliths fail, because I don't see the Governments coming to the rescue of investors that have lost everything. I do my trading on Dex's because if you don't own the private key you don't own the coins.

Both of them are safe to use, Forkdelta is fork of Etherdelta and they both use the same smart contract. I use Forkdelta mostly because it usually has more activity but you can use either one safely. If you going to use them I would recommend that you do it through Metamask. The only time I have known people to have problems was when they were not using Metamask.

Bounties in general have been offering very poor rewards. You can probably make more money picking plastic bottles by the side of the road and selling them to a recycler than you can right now from the time invested in a bounty. You should really check what the price of the coins is before making the decision about if it is worth doing a bounty. I reject about 95% as just being too little reward for to much effort.

Steem is by far the most successful, but is not really a social media network. It is more of a blogging platform. To be a social network you need to able to create communities. I have been using U°OS Network recently and they seem to understand this idea about creating communities around common interests.

I agree, at the end of the day a coins value is determined by its utility. If a coin is just traded on speculative markets and shows very little activity for the purpose it was designed for then the long-term price is not sustainable. One other method that I also use to determine the volume of a coin, particularly ICO's, is to look at the value of assets that project currently has to fund its development. You will often see projects that trade at a steep discount to the money they have in treasury.

They are both fighting Head to Head for supremacy in the gaming Dapps market. I have tried both using Scatter for EOS and Tronlink for Tron which work just like Metamask does for Ethereum. They both work fine and it is difficult to pick a favourite. I think what will ultimately decide which one wins out will be which one is easiest to build Dapps on.

I disagree. IEO's on large exchanges or across multiple exchanges completely erase any need for bounty hunters. Large exchanges will have the emails of millions of investors and it becomes very easy for the them to spread the word about a new offering without having to rely on bounty hunters. Just look at what Binance is doing with Launchpad.
