161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As of today, Steam will no longer support Bitcoin as a payment method! on: December 06, 2017, 07:46:17 PM
The game has changed and bitcoin can no longer be used for everyday transactions ones even totally $50 because of the high fees. I won't move mine around anymore unless I have to or the fee is justified by the amount I am moving around. It does suck that this has happened maybe it can be used as a wake up call to the devs to get the fees lower. I know that may not be number one priority but it should be up high on the list if you ask me.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *** Why so many upcoming Bitcoin hard works in dec 2017? *** on: December 06, 2017, 07:40:04 PM
Pretty sure this is all fueled by greed can't think of any other reason why we need these many forks. I mean are there more than 7-10 problems with the current bitcoin? I don't think so but they are all fighting to fix the few problems there are namely the speed and fees of the transaction. These are the two major problems but yeah like I said they are fighting greedily to fix these problems and have their own coin overtake real bitcoin.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: December 06, 2017, 07:34:45 PM
Depends how aggressive you want to be with it but I would spilt it up into 5 bits then pick 2 coins from the top 25, another 2 from the top 25-200, and then one coin outside that for a pure gamble. That way you diversify and at the same time are in some solid coins too.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble? Really? on: November 30, 2017, 07:34:09 PM
This awesome article puts everything into perspective. The main stream media is lost.

The Asymmetry Of Bubbles: The Status Quo And Bitcoin
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-30/asymmetry-bubbles-status-quo-and-bitcoin

Do the bubbles in bonds, stocks and real estate get the same scrutiny as the bubble in cryptos? Do any of the conventional critics deriding the bubble in bitcoin bother comparing the scale of all these bubbles? So bitcoin is in a bubble at a market cap of $170 billion, but the unprecedented $500 trillion bubble in stocks, bonds, debt instruments and real estate is perfectly fine and no risk at all? (Approximately $300 trillion in global financial assets and $200 trillion in real estate.)

Me thinks that the money from those bubbles will flow into Crypto!

It is quite hypocritical what they say but that is the media and you should always take their words with a grain of salt. Btw you know why people are making such a big deal of this right? it is because sooo many jobs and industries will be threatened in the coming 5, 10, 25 years the biggest of which is the financial industry. They can see the threat with their eyes and they are shaking in their boots, that is the only reason they care so much! Think about it if they didn't care or didn't think bitcoin could become anything they wouldn't discuss it they wouldn't give it a thought. But because bitcoin is threatening the very foundation on which these people live and work (not to mention old people handle change bad) they are scared and that is why they are bad mouthing bitcoin!
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC futures on: November 30, 2017, 07:30:01 PM
How big an impact on BTC price fluctuations do you believe that the BTC futures is going to have? And does anyone knows exactly when the futures are going to start trading?

I think they will have a decent effect on the price of BTC and I think they will help push BTC back up after this correction here. Yes CME is going to allow their clients to starting trading futures on Dec 11th although they took it down from their website I think. They already are letting them test futures at the moment the progression to live trading should be in less than a month for sure.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: None of you are financial experts, it's scary on: November 30, 2017, 07:12:37 PM
1. If US gov't regulated it it would go through the roof. If they ban it nothing will happen look at how the world reacts to bans if is shrugged off within weeks!
2. Sure I will give you this it will crash the price heavily upwards of 90-95% of the value. But what will happen after that? The exchange goes away bitcoin regains confidence and life is normal again.
3. This is literally the most unrelated thing ever who cares if a centralized government makes a coin they will take some of the market but not enough because those who are in crypto are here for decentralization.
4. The scaling problem is constantly getting improved look at this last year and what that scaling improvement did. When there is a problem there is also a solution the that problem!
5. Mining will always be feasible as bitcoin will become everyday currency come 10 years from now and those fees will secure the network.

Last but most importantly you talk about us being uneducated, young, and overly excited. This may be true for some but there are also smart individuals here who are educated, older, and pragmatic like myself. Also the fact that you mention you are from different markets and industries says about enough for me, you probably have not done your homework thoroughly enough because you would not have made these points like you did.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dumping!! on: November 30, 2017, 06:59:30 PM
Why bitcoin price decreasing, now the price is $9,346.22 !! what is the causes of this dump ? Also all of alt coin dumped.

The cause is people taking profit and realizing how quickly bitcoin had shot up in a matter of weeks. Did you really expect it to go to 15k before it went under 10k? Common sense folks tells us markets must go down before going back up.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60 Billion Wiped Off in One Day - What's Next? on: November 30, 2017, 06:49:34 PM
I always find it hilarious when the market fly up 20%. No one complains or gets scared. And then the market will go down 10% and people will freak out, even though it is still up 10% over that extremely small amount of time. ETH is at $400-420 and BTC is hovering $10k still. No need to get scared or complain. Profit take like everyone else and get a better position, or hold.

Hahaha well said pal you could not be more right because I always find that hilarious too. Disregard the 50-100% moonshot that literally just happened the past month or two....freaks out when losing 15% of overall value. It is like look at the big picture please and you will see everything is fine we are on track and had an insane year still growth wise.

One word for you smartphone. Try imaging life without your little computer in your pocket all day everyday. Can't? Exactly it is the lifeline of how we communicate with everybody and without it we would not know what to do with ourselves anymore. Kinda sad but kinda cool at the same time given its tremendous powers.

So team, what are you working on now? Should we except new exchanges soon?

I would also like to know this and before somebody says come on telegram I am going to say no to that because I don't use telegram. I think the devs could communicate in here but if they don't sure keep those telegram updates coming. I will say one thing though that looks fishy as all hell if you only say telegram telegram and nobody reports here on bitcointalk. It is the biggest forum for bitcoin after all there should be at the minimum some communication here. Thanks
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments make/launch their own National Crypto currency? on: November 23, 2017, 09:09:59 PM
Not only do I think it will happen I think once a country or two begins to do it that almost all countries will follow suit. And it will be good for cryptos in this regard it will get those into cryptos who otherwise would be scared.

I think this is good to increase the awareness of cryptos and once those individuals are in they can dabble in the decentralized coins as well booming the market even further than currently is.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: November 23, 2017, 09:08:28 PM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

Some people also literally do zero research and make asinine assumptions. Not these people just saying some people do that Roll Eyes
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Some advices and references for a newbie? on: November 23, 2017, 09:06:20 PM
Try reading some materials on a website called babypips. I began there with my journey a few months back and it helps applies trading techniques. One thing to note is the website is for Forex but I think it applies to crypto.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: November 23, 2017, 09:04:45 PM
As per we can see the interest in bitcoin of people is increasing at a high rate...I believe it will be our future...but will the shoppingsites like flipkar, amazon be able to accept bitcoins?
may be in the next generation.......thanz fr reading

The interest has been increasing for a few months now and does not look like it is going to stop anytime soon. That is good news for those who already hold bitcoin and doubt it could be bad for those looking to get in now.
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platforms ? on: November 23, 2017, 09:03:42 PM
Thoughts on best trading platforms for crypto-currencies ?

Depends on what you want out of the exchange. A good centralized exchange is Bittrex, Binanace, and Bitfinex. A good DEX looks like Waves or EtherDelta. A good margin trading website is Bitmex or Poloniex. If you want

to buy bitcoins outright you need to use a different exchange altogether. Be more specific next time it will be easier to assist you.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is coming to town! on: November 23, 2017, 09:02:02 PM
Nice clickbait I came for satoshi but got a good laugh instead!

The banks were sad,
They tried to stop him,
But they failed pretty bad and he stuffed up their plans
And Satoshi Nakamoto saved us all.

Oh man, this stanza worries me. None of this has happened yet, I feel like you're jinxing us all with the finality of this talk. The banks haven't tried to stop bitcoin, in fact they've been celebrating the technology behind bitcoin! The banks haven't failed.

Let's not turn Bitcoin or Satoshi into a "shove it up their arse" mentality. Bitcoin doesn't have to be a fuck you to the banks.

And why not? The banks have been literally shoving it up our arses for the last 500 years. I think you may want to re consider your stance because I would love nothing more than to shove it up the banks arsehole Smiley

Ah man this one turned out to be a scam too? Shouldnt say that sounding all surprised because in all honestly that is what I expected in the beginning. Oh well I cashed out 95% early on and only had a tiny bit left for lolz Wink
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you equate the value of women today? on: November 18, 2017, 01:30:43 AM
How do you equate the value of women today?

Many women degrades womanity, how about you? how do you value a woman/yourself?
Women today don't value their physical body, showing them off for free on Facebook and Instagram.
Though some gives value but majority are not. It's disgusting! Awareness of their value must be spread in this generation.

Interesting questions you put forth and I will do my best not to offend.

1) Their value is higher than ever, perhaps higher than men at the moment (no joke)
2) I dont degrade women and I do value them however some seem quite pretentious and unbareable to handle like life was their gift and everybody should cater to their whims
3) Well dont blame women for what social media has done to well women because that culture has made them value their bodies seemingly less (although they get more suitors this way?)

To expand on point #3 it seems that because women feel the need to show the world how awesome they look at every step (instagram, snapchat, facebook, and on) that has brought on an innate insecurity out of them. Now

they must look and feel like the best otherwise they are inadequate. I think this creates a vicious cycle one that elevates them highly because of their bodies and at the same time shuns others because of their bodies. We all

should be accepting of everybody rather playing this game of games where you see which human can get the most re-tweets and posts and likes. Honestly burns my brains thinking about how people compete like this Undecided.
180  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Value for LIFE on: November 18, 2017, 01:23:14 AM
I wonder why some people do not have value for life of others again. Even the government of some country does not have value for life. Now my quest is do you have value for life of others?

Yes even if I dislike people or even might hate them I still value their lives. It is not up to me to decide whose value has value and whose does not and as a result I treat everybody equally. As well that is how I want to be treated

and it is only fair I get what I put out into this world.
