People should have guns for protection because there is no better way to defend your home or property in case of a robbery.
How is a little old lady going to defend herself against 2 or 3 intruders in the middle of the night?
The fact is, guns are not scary or bad. Slingshots, blow darts, knives, baseball bats and bow and arrows are equally as dangerous. In reality, there are evil people who wish to do innocent people harm, and you have to be ready to defend yourself against these attacks. Would you go into the wilderness without protection? If someone started beating you up would you defend yourself with your hands?
Likewise, self-defense is a right and I guarantee you if you are ever in a situation where you are getting robbed you will wish you had a gun.
I don't have a gun and I never wish to have gun. Even yes I admit we can use it for our own protection from bad peraons sorrounding us but I don't think it is ok to have it. For me the best weapon to protect you amd your family is to pray amd believe in GOD. Gun is nothing with GOD. |

I guess the Philippines is now in the process of cleansing the nation. I see now what is on the mind of the President of the Philippines. Similarly if you're some guy from Lesotho who only speaks your local dialect, how much of the world's knowledge is being denied to you by the lack of translation? What about your government as they're likely to be the one and only news source in that language? Surely objectivity and neutrality is almost non existent if someone's information sources are that limited. How much of his knowledge is being denied to anyone who doesn't speak what he does?
There must be mountains of information, art and learning that disappears between cultures because of this.

I don't know why ppl are always scared of paying taxes.
taxes are actually a great thing but only if everyone pays them and if they are spend on useful things only. Just look out your window and you will see lots of things paid with your taxes you use everyday.
I think it is because taxes take a big part of the salary. That instead of being able to buy good food or pay for a nicer shelter they become more in need. If only they feel where the government has been allocating their taxes i think we won't be hearing any rants. They will be more willing to pay. |

What is the best solution to resolve our problem in overpopulation?
1. Hormonal changes. Forced or voluntary. Less sex, less conceptions. 2. Sterilization on a mass scale. One child per family globally. You have a child, both parents need to undergo permanent sterilization before they receive the child. If they refuse, they should be arrested and undergo forced sterilization and pay for it. 3. Tax incentives, no income or sale tax, free housing for those who undergo permanent sterilization voluntarily before having children. It is a hard problem to solve because any modification to human behavior go against our natural survival instincts. Population is continue to grow and grow every day. With a big number of population in a country means a big demand on job opportunities and demand on food. With big demand and needs of food and no enough or limited supply of goods and food It means that the population will experience scarcity and hunger. |

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.
According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???
i think, still they need to go to jail and spend years inside for them to suffer for their sin. I don't the government should implement death penalties because still GOD is the one who can end oir life. God give us life and God will be the one to take it.Make the rapist atone or regret what they have done so they can have the chance to change. |
