161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The End of Bear Market, Confirmed!! on: August 03, 2019, 12:17:33 PM
The whole sentiment is bullish. It was also proven many time in the last months when people thought 'oh it's dumping' or ' see it's just a bulltrap', but  btc always managed to fight back. I was even worried on the last days when most of the people who made their TA says that they see btc hitting 8,5k but no it did not. And now people are back expecting a $100k on the chart coming soon.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's has cause more harm done good on: August 03, 2019, 12:04:51 PM
That's purely an accusation to hear, because we haven't yet witnessed how IEO works right now. So don't judge until there is really a proof of the current situation. We shoul be more observant to the actual outcome and don't ever speculate negatively until there's definite judgement over it.

In fact, only 20% of IEO projects can help investors to make big profits and IEO investment is less risky than ICO investment so I believe that IEO is still an investment trend that people want in this market. Personally, I still prefer to invest in IEO because it makes it easier for me to earn double profit in a short time and if lucky, making a profit x5 easy if the IEO is listed at big exchange.

I also prefer IEO. Hate it if you guys want but the fact that huge exchanges are the ones who makes the due diligence for us on the projects before getting listed is a big YES for me. Didn't you guys realize that the numbers of projects are getting flitered thanks to IEOs? In ICOs, 100 and above projects every months that you need to do your own research and considering the current situation, nobody gets roi in it anymore makes it hard to attract investor. While in IEO, you only monitor 10 or less projects every month if you only count those high-volume exchanges that gives 2x-20x returns. So I don't totally agreee cause IEOs more harm.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTOPIA SHUTTING DOWN: Investor losses on: August 03, 2019, 02:05:10 AM
Cryptopia was one of my favorite exchanges though when I started in crypto. It has a decent volume and can pump many altcoins when there is a good news or announcement with any coin. But I guess the fact they don't become a huge thing and succeed like Binance is the signal that they won't last long and make an exit scam as like the ordinary exchanges do. It's funny to see that there are still complaining who still wants to retrieve their shitcoins from there.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead / Dying Coins you want revived on: August 03, 2019, 01:53:40 AM
Cryptocurrency coins do not just start dying, in many cases developers stop working on their projects, so I do not want to revive dying projects at all

Me too. Once the trust or faith is gone in that project, it's hard to revive it again. You can make its blockchain work but the point here is that it is just going to be useless because it is not going to attract many buyers and get a decent amount of volume. It's an utter waste of time and people move on to a new project that is better.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your money could vanish in IEOs on: July 31, 2019, 03:17:54 PM
This is now the new trend, every exchange wants to do ieo no matter how shitty the project is. If you are investing in any ieo, consider it a big risk. If it pays off, fine. If it doesn't, we learn.

You should observe first the exchanges that launch IEO because IEO does not mean automatic profit, it is still very risky. There are several big exchanges that are successful on this area and their similarities is they all have large volume. While those IEO that rekt people are from small and new exchanges. Binance is still the top giving a huge roi but their lottery system is what makes it hard to get that sweet returns.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Promising Altcoins to Invest in 2019 on: July 28, 2019, 02:27:17 PM
My greatest pick and so far the great strategy that anyone come up with is to buy the coins that are issued by exchanges. Those coins are intended to rise just like how BNB started to a dollar and now on the value of $30. But only pick those coins where exchanges always deliver good ROI on their IEOs because traders will keep buying because it's required before you can participate.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will there be an altseason this year? on: July 28, 2019, 02:06:53 PM
There is still a chance but not the altseason is hoping for. I have witnessed a lot of delisting of old coins  from popular exchanges so you guys need to check first if your coin is going to make it to the altseason or at least a couple more months. So many people preparing with their heavy bags with losses in value but their wait is going to be in vain if the team abandoned the project and do and exit scam before altseason so be very careful and double check if the project has a strong will to make the project succeed.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Libra coin over Bitcoin is that possible? on: July 28, 2019, 01:54:16 PM
The Facebook cryptocurrency coin Libra is now the talk in the cryptocurrency market, people says it will take over bitcoin soon.
But to me is that going to be possible, I took bitcoin years to reach were it is now and as the best coin in market and the first cryptocurrency its not that possible.
Lots of coin wit great ambitions have come knocking to take over from bitcoin but non could.
Will Libra be able to do so?

Of course not and Libra is a big joke on cryptocurrency. Most of the people who have studied the blockchain know that its foundation does not have the purpose to support decentralization. The recent congress hearing about Libra is not even on their side because probably the private infromation that FB sold has made its mark.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: July 27, 2019, 01:46:57 PM
lets post current portfolio, reason, update when it happens and future plans.

my current portfolio:
40% ONT
60% BTMX

reason for ONT:
ROI if ONG keeps this level: 20% in a year

reason for BTMX
ROI right now is 62% per year for locked coins in mining.

future plans:
1/4 BTMX, 1/4 NEO, 1/4 ONT, and the rest spread in 10 other coins?

I think that a good portfolio must contain at least 30-50 coins, because you should never forget about funds diversification and 2 coins seems to be very critical for me. There are a lot of great coins out there, so I would definitely add some more coins.

No, sir. Having so many coins is not a clever idea. 2-3 altcoins projects on your portfolio that has a great partnership, plans and team is much better than betting on 30-50 altcoins where more than half of it are shitcoins. Also the fact that a lot of altcoins are doing migration to BEP2 because of the bandwagon effect, that means that you need to check everyone of them almost everyday so they won't end up being useless.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: July 27, 2019, 09:16:48 AM
People on the very poor country or region would definitely do it but like the others, I won't. Just think that it is not a loss but ensuring your identity is safe with you and besides, there are still may airdrops out there that don't need your personal documents and the good news is that they are in IEOs. I miss the airdrops when it is not so complicated and you just wait for it to arrive in your wallet and you don't have to monitor if they are going to swap with this or that contract.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON Dumps as CEO “Locked Down” in China Ahead of Warren Buffett Lunch on: July 27, 2019, 09:03:58 AM
Justin Sun is like the Asian Version of Carlos Matos and his Tron is the Bitconnect 2.0. Justin is going to drag the crypto so bad in the future if he is not still get imprisoned asap with all his shady activities. I pity those who worship him and his tokens because their journey will end up no good in the future and exiting out early is the best way they can do before Justin the scammer do.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: May 15, 2019, 01:34:36 PM
I'm sorry but people who says that are utter hypocrite. If you are in it just for the technology, you should not be here in this forum posting threads and instead you should be having serious discussion on events with other people that are mainly focused on the tech. The price makes this market very exciting and their minds is really about speculating how much will it be in the future.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Income from crypto trading. on: May 15, 2019, 05:31:36 AM
Night all. What makes you still survive with the declining crypto market? How much optimism are you about the future of cryptocurrency? I would like to quote my experience when trading, namely never giving up when experiencing losses. How do you respond when you lose? Thank you in advance. Success for you.

When I experienced losses, I just keep on going. I'll be honest that it made me crippled for many months and with the long bear period at the same time. But I'll gain nothing if I just stop now so I did some bounty again and do some sideline where I can buy a btc a bit from that small income until it's equivalent to 1 bitcoin.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: May 14, 2019, 12:33:34 PM
A lot has change in the scope of bounty hunting. New projects focus more on IEO and after a few months of checking new bounties, there is not so much of them that offer a good percentage for signature campaign. It's more airdrops and social media for tweets and I don't even like participating in those because there are so many participants. I have the spirit but the sad part is we can't choose when there's no to choose from.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: May 14, 2019, 12:49:47 AM
In my experience, it is not really the profit you are chasing after all or because you have won something on it. What really triggers my gambling addiction is my weak mind trying to convince myself that there is no way I could lose easily to that game and there must be a way somehow that I could win it all back. It always keeps replaying in my mind that I know it's wrong but it makes me think it is a raffle after a series of long streak that playing more means more chances of winning which we know is not that case.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: May 13, 2019, 01:02:39 PM
I think it should not be obligatory because the most important in online casinos is they operate legally and they have licenses. Another thing, there's a lot of bigtime gamblers does not gamble only on one site. It is easy for them to try other sites when they feel that they don't have the luck  when they are playing on those.
179  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Women in Crypto - Where are they and who are they? on: May 13, 2019, 05:36:21 AM
Are there more women in crypto that I am unaware of? It seems most of the big influencers are men. I watched this video of Galia Benartzi from Bancor and I thought this is someone we should be hearing a lot more of, anyone else I have been missing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-MVw2wjoYQ

It is true that big influencers are men because they are old and mutli-millionaires and billionaires. But in the future, there is going to be much more women influencers in the blockchain tech or crypto space because this current generation supports women much more so you won't have to worry so much about that. And another thing is I see many developers that are women in ICO projects essentially in Asian countries so I think that is enough to prove that they are contributing a lot in crypto.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: May 11, 2019, 02:15:27 AM
There is a lot of chance of you got in early and you are patient enough to wait for that special moment where we reach all time high. I remember a lot of stories after December 2017 that many people here have bought many things they they couldn't afford before but thanks to btc, now they can. The story about a 14 yr old boy was even the most famous article who became a young millionaire so just follow what I have told and you guys will become millionaire too.
