161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign close before there week ends? on: July 05, 2018, 04:07:52 AM
Hello guys have been participating in a lot of bounty campaign for a while now, and most of the bounty campaign i participated in nowadays do end their bounty before the end of the week or month they approve to end the bounty, i was just hoping what may be the reason for all this bounty close down?

Normally, bounty campaign usually ends with the same time as the tokensale or ICOs. This is simply their mistake in calculating time. So they have to finish earlier than expected.

There are some campaigns that end even before the tokensale is complete. Those ICOs have reached the hardcap and they do not need to continue ICOs anymore, so they want to finish all as soon as possible..

162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: July 04, 2018, 11:51:22 AM
What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

There are many websites, Reddit is my favorite news site. I can see how people react to that news. Telegram is useful, but it's not really a good app to see news. I usually mute it because of its annoyance.

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats wrong with Coinmarketcap? on: July 03, 2018, 04:37:11 PM
I checked it out, there are a lot of coins that don't even have a website,

is anyone here that is part of that websites managment?

Why is their website so badly managed, and how can a new coin get listed? is this website dead?

regards

Coinmarketcap is just a tool to help people in checking the prices, information of coins. So it's not hard to add any coins to this website. (They have the criteria for this: https://coinmarketcap.com/faq/ ). They don't do anything wrong and they have no obligation to verify the quality of coins.

164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is going to launch cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2018, 03:43:58 PM
Facebook is going to launch cryptocurrency? I read an article on ExpertBitcoiner website

I think the release of their coin is not necessary. They don't need any ICOs, they have stocks, that's enough. But imagine it come true, they might probably forbid all the news about other coin, and just focused their coin promotion  Cheesy  Finally, facebook coins is a difficult thing to happen.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: July 03, 2018, 11:17:16 AM
Most countries don't have a specific law on cryptocurrency and taxes, my country too. So I don't have to pay taxes for my profit. But the problem is that I have to prove their origin. Fortunately, in my country, everything is easy, you just don't break the law, everything is resolved quickly.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: July 03, 2018, 10:35:21 AM
ICOs are similar to start-up. You have to show people what you can do and how useful it is. So the answer is "YES". But there are still a lot of investors who do not care much about what the ICOs can do, they simply look at the token value, speed growth, and then make a decision.

167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the bright future of Crypto? on: July 02, 2018, 04:26:33 PM
I knew about crypto at the end of 2017, after a short time increase and make people crazy to invest, everything is down now. I'm not a trader, i'm just a holder, but i'm still afraid of the sign of market recently. Will everything be changed in next year? or several years later? Can i still invest in crypto?

Although this year is not good time for cryptocurrencies, crypto and blockchain technology are still growing. I don't think crypto will have  "the bright future". But I believe it will be an ideal and sustainable market for investors. Remember that crypto is still young market, it need time to stabilize and grow.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: July 02, 2018, 03:25:13 PM
I feel keeping our coins in exchanges, mininize the risk of loosing our coins to wallet hackers.

Nope, that's wrong. That even increases the risk of losing your coin. Most of crypto hacking happens in exchange sites. If you want your coin to be safe, just put it into hardware wallet. That's the safest method to avoid hackers.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto can built my future? on: July 02, 2018, 09:46:11 AM
I want involve this sector fulltime. But is their any ensurity of better future?

First, you have to make sure that you have a specific plan for your future. Don't let your time wasted in vain. This market is new, young, risky, so you can't earn money from it all whole life. Think carefully, this isn't a stable job. This is 2018, not 2017, everything in crypto is becoming difficult than before.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: July 02, 2018, 07:35:21 AM
We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?

That is what we always see in this market, coin prices are never fixed. And that's normal. If you join this market long enough, the price fall is just like a wind blowing through. So we needn't worry about it.

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency? on: June 29, 2018, 01:14:35 PM
I just wanted to  know what are your plans on your cryptocurrency in the future?

Do you plan to keep on investing?
Do you plan to exchange your crypto in fiat and leave crypto?
Will crypto survive?

Actually, the market is not better than before. I am considering reducing the amount invested in it. Although I don't believe in crypto survival. But I still exchange all my balance into USDT. I don't think exchanging in fiat is a good idea.

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that Beginners need Technical analysis? on: May 21, 2018, 03:52:01 PM
As new to Crypto, I can say that Technical Analysis is important for not only for investors but also for bigginers becausei it can guide us in analyzing the movement of  the prices of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoincash and other cryptocurrency based on an examination of past price movements.  It uses patterns in market data to identify trends and make predictions which will tell when to invest.

Many successful investors in crypto don't know much about technology. So I think beginner don't need it. Do not misunderstand me, technical analysis is very important. If you have the knowledge of technology, it will help you succeed. But think about it, Cryptocurrency is not just technology, it's also economics. Newbie needs to learn a lot experience when trading or investing in this market.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: May 21, 2018, 02:25:38 PM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.

One of the common reasons is that they don't believe in the future of the project. They choose to sell to avoid future risks. That is why the token price dropped at the beginning.

Selling or holding, that's own choice. And that choice depends on the potential of the project. Bounty hunter should think carefully before making a decision

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: May 20, 2018, 06:35:22 AM
What is the famous saying....."If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen."

There are so many people crying about the recent of BTC that I'm frankly getting annoyed. You should know the risk involved in investing in crypto. If not, don't even waste your money. Go buy a CD that won't make more than the rate of inflation. Remember investing is literally legalized gambling. Treat it as such or don't even jump in the pool.

Yeah, you are right. Instead of crying, they should do useful things. When you join the crypto, risk is unavoidable. That's not anyone's fault. When I visit bitcointalk, I just see crying topic. It made me feel bored.

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IBM’s New Stellar Announcement "May Now Challenge Ripple / XRP" on: May 19, 2018, 04:40:19 PM
If I'm not mistaken, Ripple and Stellar are created by the same person. Why does he let "his sons" become rivals? Anyway, IBM is great technology company. I hope they will brings to us something special. I heard about this collaboration a year ago, but now they are starting to show up. A promising future for XLM.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: May 19, 2018, 01:38:00 PM
Bitcoin has existed for many years. It has overcome the difficulties, challenges, along with the competition of thousands of other competitors. As you see, Bitcoin is very powerful, overtaking bitcoin is very difficult. In 5-10 years, no coin can beat him.

For me bounty campaigns are also good because you can earn free tokens and hold it til it has a price in the market. Just like also when you do mining you have to have a good and high specs computer to mining or you have to set up a mining rig but the price is huge and so expensive, or maybe you can invest it to mine your own coins.

What are you talking about? Did you comment wrong topic?

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: May 19, 2018, 06:11:57 AM
It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

Most of us lose money because of scammers, not failed coins. Unlike real life, scammers will never be punished. This is also the reason many people hate crypto. If newbie joined this market, they have to accept being cheated at least once. Experience from it is precious, it will help them understand the cruel reality of cryptocurrency.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC should not be asked from the Bounty Participants! on: May 18, 2018, 07:16:55 AM
This is an easy problems. If you don't want to give KYC, you just don't participate in that bounty. Their bounty, their rule, your information, your choice. You absolutely have the right. Asking KYC is a effective way to avoid imposter, whales and scammers. This makes the bounty campaign fair.

I have no problem with it. I just hate KYC at end of bounty campaign. (they don't mention it from the beginning)
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: May 18, 2018, 05:34:32 AM
Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

The longest time I have ever waited is 3 months. And I think your situation is not normal. 6 months is too long for bounty campaign. I have reason to believe it is a scam bounty. Even if you get paid, I do not think the coins will be valuable because that's failed projects  Grin

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is the crypto industry going to look like in 5–10 years? on: May 15, 2018, 08:03:29 AM
As we had observed cryptocurrency sometimes fall and sometimes increase its price. How will crypto industy price for the next 5 to 10 years from now?

It's difficult to predict the cryptocurrency future. Maybe at that time, the anonymity of cryptocurrency will disappear, the government or some organization will control it. The coins that we have known (BTC,ETH,..) may no longer exist. And we will have new generation coins  Cheesy
Anyway, cryptocurrency will still exist and grow.
