161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO 100$. on: August 29, 2018, 09:27:06 AM
At 100$, it could only be best to buy more.... Eth is a very strong altcoin and so would always guarantee ROI no matter how long.

Stay with crypto, you'll smile soon
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 29, 2018, 09:25:01 AM
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh

I feel for you. However, yiu probably didnt heed the very obvious signs all around. I warned all around me of an impending correction. If you don't have the mind for a loss, just take your eyes and mind away from that investment until the next bull run. Hopefully soon

Cheers
163  Economy / Marketplace / Re: LOOKING TO INVEST MY LIFE SAVINGS NEED ADVICE on: August 28, 2018, 01:26:22 AM
Your life savings?Huh Entirely??? I should let you know that the ROI on Bitcoin mining has reduced considerably in recent times and it is speculated to continue in that reduction trend...

Please, spread your investments. That's my most sincere advise to you
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year on: August 28, 2018, 01:22:24 AM
The last time the CBOE launched a Bitcoin financial tool, futures, we saw $20k. Recently rising Bitcoin dominance shows people betting on the latest CBOE tool, ETF, being approved.

Bitcoin dominance is heading towards fifty percent by marketcap. What does this mean for the price and how should traders and investors view it? Marketcap is by far not the best metric to read dominance, but that doesn’t mean it can’t add value to your trading.

50k?Huh Mehn, this is too wide a speculation. I'd advise that this prediction is not promoted so that you don't raise hopes and expectations of newbies and prospective entrants. At this rate and stage of crypto, it's safe to stay away from predictions and just follow trends. Very safe!
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: August 28, 2018, 01:18:53 AM
Having this mindset at entry time is one of the reasons why many have been disappointed and they have jumped ship at the earliest opportunity. No venture offers overnight riches, not even crypto with all its decentralization!

Every lucrative venture requires patience, diligence and dedication... And crypto is not excluded.

Anyone knows how long it takes to receive minted tokens please? Thought it was 3 days....Huh

If you minted either you use the method 1 or method 2, you will going to receive your reward instantly.
However after you minted, you coinage will going back to zero, so you need to wait again for a minimum of 3 days to be eligible in getting another stake reward.

Then could something have been wrong? I minted using method 2 (contract function) and the transaction was successful but I didn't get the reward and I still haven't gotten till now...

I guess nothing wrong mate, minting function is instant either on method 1. Once you done it right newly generated tokens will appear right after a tx is generated. It may take a while, sometimes does not seen on explorer right away, but a refresh will do and the reward will be seen.

@Eadefemi if you are using method 2, try to add STR to add new custom token then check your balance again. Rewards taken cannot be seen sometimes if you just use the explorer, but on MEW you will realize that your reward has been added to your balance.

HI.   Thanks for your reply. I have already added STR to my etherwallet and there's no mint reward, the only STRs I've gotten so far are from the airdrops I've participated in.

This is incorrect. All transactions (if confirmed) can be instantly seen.

Just go to:

https://etherscan.io/token/0xbae235823d7255d9d48635ced4735227244cd583?a=YourStakerAddressHere

Here's the mint transaction hash, see for yourself... The only STRs in the wallet are from ADs
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xbd9d614b698dbdc2379d012680861c355b8b2b41d880c679eafee824d789d37a

Cheers

@NiceDev transactions made from taking your mint rewards cannot be seen if you check your wallet address on the explorer. (except from the tx hash that you got from minting).

For @Eadefemi, to explain it to you more in detail.. let me show you an image of your eth address in the explorer.
https://etherscan.io/token/0xbae235823d7255d9d48635ced4735227244cd583?a=0x1fBE82A2A098e4b629a5F303821ebefb4F094d49

Now if you look closely.. your current total STR balance is different from the total STR that you received (try to add it all).

Which means you got +9.22 STR from your mint reward.

That's why we always recommended to always use the staker calculator before you mint so you have an idea how much str rewards you will get https://calculator.staker.network/

I hope this help you Smiley

Yes, thanks alot. @Scatter just showed me this on Telegram yesterday... I was actually looking out for the transaction hash receipt which I didn't see. Thanks alot...

167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Something Fishy with Streamity on: August 18, 2018, 08:37:29 AM
Been following Streamity (https://streamity.org/en/) for a while now and since the ICO ended, the mod on telegram has been saying that the tokens will be unlocked after listing. Decided to fish out the smart contract and check if anything was happening on Forkdelta and behold, there were buy and sell orders: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0x2e8c6bbe8e3aa834ef5a851b2cdfc52403d61b87-ETH

Decides to test the sell order and it went through... meaning contract was unlocked.

I took my findings to the admin on TG and presented the evidence to them. Next thing I know, I got kicked got - out in the cold without a word. Reached out to the other admin on BTT and no response.

Is it just me or something doesn't add up?

Based on your findings, something definitely doesn't add up... And it's not accidental!!!

Best advice is for you to flip your tokens immediately.... ASAP....

I bought LoopX sometime early this year, I think... After the tokens were released upon successful ICO, orders flew up on EtherDelta.. Devs told us on TG that they were early dumpers and that we shouldn't sell..

Turned out it was the Devs actually selling out to those who couldn't get ICO or those who wanted to accumulate more since the ICO was tough to get...

Sales completed, Scam Exit...

I still got LoopX in my ICO wallet till date... Completely useless!!!

Wow I think your instinct already telling you that the project is total scam and they are just preparing to make an exit scam. Too bad for projects like this. They gave enough time for the promotion and they are just likely to scam people. I wonder how long did they prepare for this huge scam exit. If you're an investor you should take serious review on the teams profile. Not all that displayed on the website can be trusted sometimes they are just using fake account or using the profile without knowing that the legit owner has been used already. It always happen the profile info is legit but it was only used as props on the website of a scam ICO. This kind of reasons why the SEC are having a strict rules since lots of people are being fooled by ICOs everyday. Just hoping the streamity wouldn't  really planning to exit but judging with the OPs experience that is a lie which you should already think of.

I am not a token buyer of Streamity nor am I promoting it as a bounty hunter but I can see the promotional posts of this project in my feeds because some of my social media friends were campaigning for this project. All I can say is that I am wishing that this is just a technical glitch and the team is not really into something fishy. Otherwise, the project can be added into the many reasons why there is a big need to regulate the ICO industry as many scams have already cost millions of dollars down the drain. Again, we are hoping that we can be wrong!

Nah... It ain't a glitch; else the TG admins would have addressed it openly right away...
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: it's too hot in the room! on: August 18, 2018, 08:31:39 AM
Well, previously when I run my GPU hot, I got a melted riser.

You sure you didn't accidentally use bad wiring to get that melted riser? Such as a poorly connected +12V?

Because its very rare for an riser to melt due to GPU heat. The GPU might run at 80-90C but that's at the chip level, the rest of the PCB is most likely around 50-60C and shouldn't be able to melt the riser.

This is actually the first time I am hearing something such as this.

Same here... Never heard of of such!
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best coin for long term investing on: August 17, 2018, 06:26:29 PM
There is no best coin to invest in... All coins have their days and seasons....

Better still, visit cmc and select a list... Spread your investment. That's the best thing to do

Keep some  BTC and ETH still...

170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $7000 today? on: August 17, 2018, 06:20:37 PM
For a target of $7k, I'd say in a matter of days from now...

But still, it's definitely gonna be a slow ride to the moon! Expect more horizontals...

171  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Team - HOT ICO PROJECT on: August 15, 2018, 05:34:05 PM
I'm seeking individuals who are interested in working with me on an ICO. Individuals will receive payment at the conclusion of a successful ICO and will receive tokens as well. Individuals must have a passion and/or experience in crypto, sports, and trading. I'm seeking attorneys, advisors, web developers (front-end and back-end), and marketing. If interested, please leave your email address below. Individuals must have a valid linkedin profile. I have started writing a whitepaper and formulating the idea for the last 6 months. This is a low risk, high reward opportunity. I can explain more via email to those individuals interested.

Red flags all around! This is not even a credible BCT account. It was opened for the main purpose of sourcing cheap and almost free work...

If you really wanna get what you need here, I'd advise you get some credibility first... Get some high ranking members to back up your project. Wish you success
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is done on: August 15, 2018, 05:30:29 PM
This is a best times to investor in eth now. This is a lucky chance. I think never come again to this price Ethereum. End of year price will up to 2000$ or more. This is a bad season for all cryptocurrency and buying time.

2000$??? Don't think so. So many factors and variables say otherwise... I won't advise you to gamble on this
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is done on: August 15, 2018, 05:29:28 PM
Very hard to say ETH is done... Eth cannot be done as long g as projects are being launched in the ethereum blockchain...

ETH is also an altcoin like XRP, XRR, XLM and others and so it is not immune from dip. Stay tuned, a rise is next

176  Economy / Lending / Re: Latest Scam Trend on: August 14, 2018, 11:42:26 AM
I daresay that this isn't a new trend but a resurrected old trend. It's commonplace in the crypto marketto send fake coins with different contract addresses as originals...

Thanks for bringing it up... We'll be on the lookout
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are you now afraid to save bitcoin until December 2018 on: August 14, 2018, 11:30:52 AM
December 2018 is just four months away, anyone who has HODLed through the dip shouldn't be afraid to keep holding... And anyone who is just getting in as well can't be afraid of HODLing...

There's only one word in the cryptosphere right now and that word is HODL
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: August 13, 2018, 09:09:34 PM
I have regret from time to  time... Most usually  from HODLING too long or selling too cheap!
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: August 13, 2018, 09:08:08 PM
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?

Wowwwww! This could well pass as the chiefest of regrets!
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: August 13, 2018, 09:05:42 PM
More than ever before, YOU MUST HODL...

Infact, buy a big bag and then HODL
