No import charge for the miners into Australia.

Order Time

2014-06-30 14:07:06.0

Good to know, I added a note on my order to make sure that it falls under the $AUD1000 GST threshold.... maybe that confused Bitmain and that's why my stuff is still 'unshipped'....

Cheers

My batch 1 order still not yet shipped !

Same here actually I ordered 2014-07-01 04:43:23, and am seeing people getting their orders. No new update other than just wait for my order. I spoke to bitmain and basically just got told that I have to wait until they ship it. I expected orders to ship on the date they stated. This was a 2x S3s B1 order.

My batch 1 order 2014-06-30 21:40 is still unshipped as well.

Cheers

Are these still available?
All gone for now, B4 will open at some point, when this 'crisis' is over...
166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 17, 2014, 12:06:52 PM
My batch 1 S3's shipped!!!

Looks like there on the way for everybody with a B1 order.

All 3 units will be at the UPS store on Monday!!! 7/21

Nice!   Cool
Congrats!  What was your order time?  (I'm on batch 1 from about 21:40, still status 'unshipped')

Cheers

ORDER DATE: 2014-06-30 16:53:06, but still no refund.
Thanks.  I opted for the coupon, but think that both coupons and refunds will happen only after the current 'mass order' crisis is over at Bitmain's.

Cheers

my miners are on route to the UK and have just left Mumbai!

initially I was like WTF

From Shenzen to Bangkok to Mumbai to UK.

A bit wierd so many stops but there you go.
UPS or whoever your 'shipping' company is are concerned more about their flight costs than your difficulty rising.... Still knowing that your S3's are on the way is better than some of us whose stuff is still unshipped.

Cheers

Are other buyers of Batch 1 S3 still waiting for shipment as well?
I'm checking on Bitmain and UPS but still nothing  (B1 late 30June about 21:40)

Cheers

Nope, still nothing on UPS or Bitmain, I'm waiting for B1 also.
 order: 2014-06-30 17:55:18

You are a few hours ahead of my order... looks like we need plenty of patience, it certainly won't arrive before this weekend.

Once you accepted the coupon did the coupon itself have an expiration date?
The coupon is not finalized yet (probably only after shipping), it is still in a state of 'application' which does not say anything about expiration date.  This will probably depend on when they actually ship the S3's (mine are still 'unshipped' from Batch #1).

Hi..

I`m having some trouble to getting access to my antminer..
The browser just keep telling me " connection timeout"
I`ve configured it already and it is mining.. But I still need to connect to wifi and do other settings, so please help me with this.
Any tips or tricks how I can access it ?

Btw I`ve tried to access it via "putty" also but no luck.

[EDIT]

I have never gained access to the antminer via ethernet cable connected directly to the computer.. Only by the router..

Read the guides (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355387.0.  If you read the posts following the original guides you are likely to find an answer to your problems).
There are instructions how to configure a PC and connect it directly to the Antminer S1. (basically you set a standalone PC to a fixed IP in the range of the Antminer default IP on the sticker, reset the Antminer, connect it by a LAN cable directly to the PC, open a browser and enter the default address, usually 192.168.1.99, once you see the web gui you can configure your IP address, pools etc.).

Once you follow the instructions and if that still doesn't work, you need to provide detailed information about your setup if you want to enable people to assist you.
Personally I wouldn't bother connecting to it by WiFi.

Are they any b1 customer that has not shipped yet? Example no notice through email yet? Today date is 17/7

+1 ordered B1 late 30 June, status is still 'unshipped' on Bitmain web site.
(Checked on UPS, but nothing there either)

Has anyone accepted the coupon? Does it expire?
I accepted the coupon, it probably defaults to the coupon after 22 July, if you did not select the BTC compensation of 7.7%.

175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain AntMiner S1 Setup on: July 16, 2014, 10:22:08 AM
Used an IP scanner and now trying to connect via wifi in case that's easier - the miner is only about 2 feet away from the router.
IP scanner is giving the IP address as 192.168.1.99 (Paragon technologies - I assume that's the one).
Should I try temporarily changing my IPv4 address and Default gateway?  If so, what settings should I use.  I've already tried a few without success.
Whenever I try to use chrome after changing IPv4 and gateway it just says "can not connect to the internet."
I've tried just about every combination I can think of - and have even disabled my firewall for 15 minutes just in case that was interfering somehow.
I'm about to try to connect it to my son's PC upstairs and see if I can configure it there - not over optimistic at the moment though.
Unless you want to complicate matters, connect the S1 directly to the PC with a LAN cable (no router, no Wifi) and then enter 192.168.1.99 into your browser, then you should be able to see the web gui of the Antminer, change the IP to what ever your network needs, set your mining pools etc.

(if your router supports the 192.168.1.xxx address range, you can do it through the router, assuming that there is no other device at 192.168.1.99).

Please say your batch. All of you batch 1?

Batch 1 to Australia.  If I pick up directly from DHL airport depot I will have it in my hands within the next 24hrs  Grin
Interesting to see if there is any customs issue.  My order B1 late 30-June is still 'unshipped'....

177  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: multiple devices on: July 15, 2014, 09:29:21 AM
The S1 is a stand-alone miner.  You could run the rockminer together with the USB one though.

You can certainly point all to the same pool.
You can probably run both the USB one and the Rockminer on the same instance of cgminer, however if that gives you problems, you can always run separate instances of cgminer/bfgminer for each of these.  At some point I had 6 instances of bfgminer/cgminer running on the same old win7 laptop with a garden variety of miners.  Just read the 'readme' files of these mining packages and use the latest ones if your miners are of a recent 'vintage'.

You have bought B1~B3 of S3. We will issue you a 10% value coupon. However, you have the option to give up the coupon and apply a 7.7% refund.

So if i apply for the coupon or refund will my antminer order still be valid?

any reason why antminer is doing this? because of delay?

S3 specs were reduced from 478 GH/s down to 441 GH/s, so they are refunding/discounting to fix it

That information is not mentioned on the official website
But it is posted by the official Bitmain user on multiple threads in this forum.
If you log into your Bitmain account (assuming that you placed an order for the S3), you'll see that you are offered either a 10% coupon or 7.7% refund.  There have been multiple posts by BITMAIN stating that this is due to their findings while testing the production run S3's.

Opted for the coupon.  Still 'unshipped'
Having some 'hiccups' on the very first production run is not a complete surprise.... part of the adventure...

Would it now be possible to run two Antminer s3's off a "Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU"

 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ALK3QRS
Spec is +12V at 62A http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139051, and 4 PCI-E 6 pin connectors, which might be be tight for 2 S3's requiring 340W each at the revised spec at the wall and 4 PCI-E connectors each.

Cheers
