161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 17, 2013, 05:09:16 AM
Do you guys think it is sound that kncminer should offer a option to buy miners for November delivery, at a discount. For them to offer that now instead of when October is sold out. I would like to buy a miner, but I dont want it to be so close to November that I was a few days off from a cheaper price. I rather have a firm delivery date, like early November, than Late October with a higher price.

Anyone with insider information can give me price list information, such as gh/s/$. Thank you for being my friend by telling me.

Will megabigpower be offering a discount for November orders?

If i order now from megabigpower, do I get it early, middle, or late October? Which one
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 15, 2013, 07:09:45 PM

What other ASIC manufacturers are stating deliveries in October and how likely is it that they will do it?

HashFast.  we'll see.

it is better to go with bitfury. they already have a product out. they just need to do the shipping. Again, they _already_ have the product made.

It is better that you get out of the bitcoin game while you are ahead, I seen too many good bitcoin peeps go to prison or washed up or burnt out because they went against the big centralize banking business. You are a smart man. Just live a normal life. It is dangerous out here.

WTF are you talking about?

There are only two ways out of the bitcoin business:
1) You end up dead or in jail because you went against centralized banking.
2) You are lucky and get out ahead.

I seen too many bitcoin peeps dead, in jail, washed up, burnt out, or on the streets. The centralized banking industry does not like you. This is real life muh niggah. It ain't all friendly and everyone just giving money away.

You gotta watch your back in this industry. Everyone trying to get in your pocket.

They did ask why I wanted a refund and I simply told them because Bitcoinorama is a ass hole to people on this thread and since he is a spokesperson for them, I wanted Nothing to do with Knc any longer.

What is it with people like Josh and now Bitcoinorama..  Bunch of no good SOB Used Car Salesmen if you ask me..

Anyway thanks again Bitcoinorama for helping me make up my mind..

Seriously, though, doesn't sample boards by next week mean that they are ahead of schedule rather than behind?

ask for the case dimensions. I am sure you could modify it if you dont like it.

Honestly this forum is too full of cancer.   Everyone instantly attributes every statement as a scam or as FUD.  All I am saying is, why are more people not concerned with the fact this uses an external power supply?   I have _never_ seen a 4U in a data center with an external power supply.  Further it logistically does not work out with the design of most cabinets, unless you're planning on putting it in a 23" rack.  In any case, you sacrifice density, which means an increase in cost, as space isn't free.  I would also imagine the aesthetics of such an arrangement would not be appreciated by the host.

I am sure you could put the unit in a different case. But hey, I am just saying. I am putting mine in a milk crate
173  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 14, 2013, 03:06:09 PM

People keep pricing the 25gh/s unit at $1300, which it is not. $1300 is for 25gh/s, a master board, and a raspberry pi. just for 1 25gh/s hashing board, it costs $500. Sure you can only buy a 25gh/s starter kit and that is all if you want... but.. this is stupid imo, buy some hashing boards.

yeah, but you need the master board to run the hashing board. How else are you going to get the hash out of a 500 dollar board? You need a starter kit at least

If I order an October starter kit or full kit from megabigpower, would I get the kit in early, mid, or late October? And, would the kit be shipped around the same time as everyone else who bought a kit?

176  Bitcoin / Group buys / [OPEN] [Pre-group buy] Cointerra expensive units on: August 14, 2013, 07:42:36 AM
Cointerra releases a price list by Monday. I expect that we will be able to order at least two of their expensive units. Shares will be about 1:1 ratio of cost:net profit amount for six-ten months, at which time I would sell the unit on ebay and split the profit with the investors. I am charging a 1% hosting fee that is charged from the net profit. This is lower than any other deal you can get.

I will post more info when cointerraa comes out with a price list in  few days. I will also post my personal informtion.
177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 14, 2013, 06:17:18 AM
Someone please guess what the cheapest gh/$ will be and what the most cheapest and expensive units they could make. I need info, so I can prepare to get a loan. I want the most expensive products they have, please.

Because usa 20 amp households are limited to about 1920 watts continuous power. I don't think they could practically sell a unit more than 1.9 th/s based on the 1 watt per gigahash.

So, how much would a 1.5 TH/s unit cost? bitfury 400 gh/s units go for .05 gigahash per usa dollar while kncminer 400 gh/s unit goes for about .056 per usa dollar.

lets say that cointerra units sell for .15 gigahash per usa dollar. that would be 10k usa dollars.

thats too expensive for me

The satire probably does not work if you were the ones who fell for it -- namely each of those who replied to this post or believed it.
Joey u want moar pizzas?

Your argument is basically like what every guy says when he asks a girl to see her tits and gets rejected. "I was just kidding"

Your argument is like a "yo mama" joke with false analogies. But, I'll bite. My joke is like the one where that same female in your story originally told the guy, "Show me your penis and I'll show you mine." That would be satire of your sexual harassment story. You just arrived late and missed the beginning. You can see that the first reply was LULZ.

Lighten up people.

Eisenhower34 mentioned that the asic hardware companies might not deliver, so it could be years before you get your equipment. It would probably take longer to make the money on your own rather than make the money through me paying you back.
