163  Local / India / Re: Solutions on How to file Tax returns on Bitcoin Income on: July 12, 2019, 08:14:00 AM
It helps a lot,but I am not earning much of bitcoins and converting it into INR so still I need to pay income taxes?

If you have earned more than 2.5 lakh in the last financial year, you will have to file income tax return. This does not mean you will have to pay tax but you have to let the government know how much you have earned! But if your total income is less than 2.5 lakh, then you don't have to file the return as well!

Here total income means your bitcoin earnings plus your offline earnings! Hope this helps!
Ofcourse I got more than 2.5 lakhs but I thought it is only necessary to do when we hit 5 lakhs per annum.

165  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: ICC Cricket World cup - (India v Afghanistan) on: July 06, 2019, 09:15:54 AM
Better you can try this thread on gambling section which attracts more people and also cricket lovers to discuss about it.

There are too many threads about this already in the gambling section and I was thinking of updating this thread with Indian matches only or updates. Thanks for the thought tho.
But not too many threads to be honest and there is separate thread to discuss about the world cup 2019.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining? on: July 06, 2019, 08:10:08 AM
I only watched sumo wrestling on movies, but never seen on my TV and in any other YouTube channel I subscribed. So this shows that sumo wrestling is not much popular in my location but this is a good game to watch based on my experience on that movie so I will bet on that on that game is that is available too.

I read whole later and I really believe that if Modi could see then he must take some action about it. Kunal is already stated in that above later that RBI even did not do any research before giving the circular of banking system.

Well I am giving full support to kunal that at least he is trying their best. He is also a founder of kali coin and I am holding this coin for years but due to RBI restrictions this coin still sucks on crex24 exchange and have a zero value now.

Well its really interesting to see if he get any response from PM.  As I know PM Modi is also support digital 🇮🇳. So I wish he could take some action in the favour of crypto community.
They are supporting centralized digital India, even aadhar was brought up to get every personal information about us and giving access of those details for very cheap membership.

I am not sure that letter on which street's dustbin.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra's chief says, Libra is not a threat to bitcoin on: July 04, 2019, 10:05:35 AM
David Marcus, the head of Facebook's cryptocurrency Libra twitted,
Quote
Many want to pit Libra vs. Bitcoin. In my mind these two are not in the same category. BTC is a decorrelated (investment) asset. Libra is designed to be a stable medium-of-exchange. I have been, and remain a fan of BTC, but for very different purposes.

The former president of Paypal stressed that Libra is a better digital cash and payment system, while bitcoin is a long-term investment vehicle.

I think the people says Libra is threat to bitcoin are the hired shill from facebook from doing this they can attract the people attention on their coin and then claiming that they are better medium of exchange to convince them to invest on it.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: July 04, 2019, 08:31:51 AM
Fu*****k the libra coin because it is nothing going to be useful for us,we have fiat which is lot better than trusting someone's centralized coin.
173  Other / Politics & Society / Thoughts on Indian GST taxes. on: July 03, 2019, 07:58:31 PM
While roaming on Indian local board I found a thread regarding independence day and its coming on Aug15 but I still got a question that we are living under democratic country or on dictator country because as per GST taxes the prices of many daily needs high up and with the inflation its peaking year by year and is very bad thing for the middle class and lower class.

When Indian government wants GST they excluded only fuels from it because taxes on petrol and diesel is nearly about 150% in India by this the fuel prices are most expensive in India.

Tax rates can be found here : https://cleartax.in/s/gst-rates

And what do you think about 28% tax and the fuel tax not coming under GST when every other thing inclued on it.

*I am not much knowledgeable in these things but I found India is having high tax rates on GST compared to other countries.
174  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Happy Independence Day In advance to all Indians on: July 03, 2019, 07:04:40 PM
Still I got a feel that India is Independent and democratic?

Because people are getting less respect than a cow and we don't have no rights to speak about the leaders.

Better to be under dictator because they even don't ask 28% tax for goods and 150% tax for fuels.

India is one of the worst country to be lived.

Please don't do agenda-based posts outside 'Political & Society' section, especially in such an old thread which is completely irrelevant to your post.
You said 28% of Goods. Only 31 items are currently included in 28% tax bracket. Such items include Pan Masala, Lottery, aerated water, aircraft for personal use, etc. No 'necessity' and 'comfort' item is under 28%. Moreover, hardly 10% luxurious goods are under 28% bracket, rest 90% are either in 18% or lower.
Coming to fuel. 150% tax is not levied directly. It includes portion of central tax, portion of state share and cess. This setup is effective from very long duration, not introduced from current government. However, new FM Nirmala Sitharaman has shown sign in her last speech that petrol and petroleum products as covered under Section 9(2) of  CGST Act will soon come to effect and will cover under GST Act.
You say we don't have rights to speak against leaders, are you serious? India is democratic nation and everyone has right to criticize leaders. I personally troll both ruling party, PM and opposition party on Twitter. No one comes to arrest me! Yeah! You may face such arrests if you are living in West Bengal, the only Indian state having tyrant ruler. Lips sealed
We may have lesser taxes for some products which is less than 28% but there are many small business products has 18% and the fast foods like KFC or dominos don't have that much.

When comes to the tax on fuels,India has the most tax for the fuel in the whole country and the prices are too much expensive when the price of crude oil prices fell too much in the past years, the same government comments on the prices when they are in opposition party.

And we may not have such rule that to consider someone is criminal who commenting on the leaders but they are indirectly doing harm and especially to Soth India where BJP has never got into winning position.

Always we need to check the domains what we are entering into to save our login info and also bookmarking them will save us.

Still we need to do lot like use the browser with high security and never use any browser from Cheetah mobile which steals all the user details and selling them.
178  Local / India / Re: What is the best way to buy and sell in 2019 on: July 02, 2019, 07:54:29 PM
So what other options we have? After ban from RBI, it is not possible for any exchange to send money in users' accounts from its own account. WazirX is no difference. It is also a P2P network. I know P2P is not completely safe but I prefer using it for amount up to ₹50,000. Hackers mainly use hacked accounts for bigger trades hence you will find mostly genuine buyers for lower amounts.
I don't have many contacts over internet so P2P is my only solution at the moment.
I also sell Bitcoin for PayPal sometimes but this method has two drawbacks: first the exchange rates are not as good as P2P. Secondly, PayPal asks reason and source for any kind of receipt. So the reason you mention on PayPal has to match with your ITR which causes additional obligations.

PayPal asks receipt? Till date PayPal hasn't asked me and since we have no other option, I feel that trading BTC via PayPal is better than using USDT and at what rate do you trade PayPal? I usually trade 20% more than the value as PayPal charges around 10% fee (4.9% + 5% currency conversion fee). 1:1 PayPal is a complete loss.
So you are okay with their high fee,I never tried to use paypal due to their complex requirements, you can even convert your btc into paytm via lbc which seems very easy.
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will China win Canada on: July 02, 2019, 06:25:54 PM
There has been tension between China and Canada since the arrest of one of the key prodigies of Huawei in Canada. Recently, China rejected a meat imported from Canada because according to China the meat contain chemical which has been banned internationally. Should tension still keep on rising, which of these countries will suffer most?
It is good to see a country supporting their citizen which is not happening in my country. Embarrassed

But this is nothing related to arrested issues,if an imported product doesn't meet the requirement then there is nothing wrong on refusal right.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware - Resurgence of previously inactive projects on: July 02, 2019, 04:29:28 PM
There has been a revival of activity on some projects who had gone cold with little to no activity on their different media channels during the crypto winter - leaving their own communities clueless on the status of these projects. I thought it would be good if the crypto-community would be more aware of this because it could be a red flag and a sign that these projects don't really care about their stakeholders.
people who invest on those projects are really fools.

And chances of happening is less,if you find any those projects then list them up here or even on scam accusation section.
