161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: April 10, 2018, 11:37:36 AM
Buying something with ALL of your money is never advisable. If you have 20000$, it is best to invest 200$ per coin so that you have at least 10 different coins with you. This is advisable in the stock market too. It is not advisable to invest everything in a single sector. It would either make you homeless or a millionaire, with more chances of the former one to happen.
I would suggest that you look at some other alts for investment.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: April 10, 2018, 11:32:03 AM
That's what these people love doing. They love to shame a company and name it a scam when they did not even put any effort. They share three links on twitter in a week and write a tweet or two and expect to make thousands of dollars out of it and if the coin doesn't appreciate then they start blaming the company and calling it a scam. They say their hard work is wasted. Where is the hard work in sharing few posts on twitter and then reporting their links? No offense intended but these people should calm down.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: April 10, 2018, 11:25:49 AM
You can't stereotype it. Nothing can be predicted for this market given its volatile status. The early adopters of bitcoin would obviously recommend that you hold bitcoin for 2-3 years to see it appreciate.
I would say that you should only hold BTC and no other coin since most of the shitcoins are good for nothing. They would increase in value shortly and then fall. Best is to make most out of them when pump is going on.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins are worth buying NOW on: April 10, 2018, 11:23:44 AM
Going by the latest news, I think the best coins to look out for right now are
1. RCN - A big pump is expected and the price should go around 2000+ satoshis
2. SYS - Masternode coming around 30th April
3. LRC - Big pump going on right now

I can assure you that would get promising returns from these coins right now
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO will survive in 2020? on: April 09, 2018, 10:51:39 AM
You want to only know about ICO or the market as a whole? I can assure you that market will survive till the end of the world. There is no reason to believe that market will end. What makes you think so? As long as market is there, ICO will also be there. So do not worry and invest happily. With so many big names entering this market, there can be no end to it.
166  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: April 09, 2018, 07:13:37 AM
Market collapses and then again recovers. On a russian exchange the volume of BTC in entire day was just 50 bitcoin. After a week I saw it jump all the way to 450 BTC. I don't know who is controlling the price but the market is definitely not collapsing. One should make good profits and should exit the market when he feels the return is right.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc good experience for young people on: April 09, 2018, 07:09:19 AM
Yes you are right. In my college I see lots of youngsters making money through bitcoin. Holding and growing is teaching them the art of saving money so as to have a better future. I also like to hold and grow my money. I think this is one lesson that bitcoin taught me. To invest early and have a good future.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 09, 2018, 07:06:01 AM
No I would not want to make something as good as charity with a decentralized payment network. I would still prefer to use the traditional money to pay those charities and those poor people so that the money reaches the right hand. This way you never know that some corrupt person might misuse the money since it can't be tracked.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin, how can I get started? on: April 09, 2018, 07:01:59 AM
I too was new to bitcoin until two years ago and in order to get started you should first get a detailed understanding of it. You must know what bitcoin is, how it came in existence, which technology it uses, why the world is looking forward to it. Bitcoin has brought a revolution in this world and that is why everyone is keen to invest in it.

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there still hope for the altcoins on: April 08, 2018, 04:29:22 AM
Understand the market cycle. Bears and bulls are the part of the market cycle. The market has suffered a lot due to series of negative news from China, Korea, exchange hacks and massive sell off. I was reading a report which said we can see a recovery after April 19th because a huge sell off from America will end and we can see a price boost.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: December 17, 2017, 06:08:37 PM
in college there is no such course for bitcoin but i know about some institutes which are interested to make you learn about block chain technology and crpytocurrencies not particularly focusing on just crypto , to be introduced in college syllabus it still a need more boost and government support , until and and unless crypto's are not officialy recognised by government there a very thin chance of it being introduced as subject( of block chain )

175  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the reason behind this mass price rise? on: December 05, 2017, 04:20:40 PM
CME group is launching bitcoin futures in December mid. This news was made public in October and was positively welcomed by the community and was able to attract many new investors. Along with that some major banks from all over the world have started adopting bitcoin and blockchain tech. There is a huge demand for bitcoin from Africa with Zimbabwe and Nigeria being the major countries. There is over all increase in popularity of bitcoin. On Thanksgiving, Coinbase stated that 300k new members joined their platform. There is a genuine overall demand.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it good time to buy. on: November 24, 2017, 06:03:15 PM
What is good time to buy? What profit are you targeting? Something like 10000000% same as what early adopters earned. If yes, then no it isn't the right time and that right time won't come. Why people invest? To earn returns. If you think that this isn't the right time that means you think Bitcoin will depreciate now and won't recover, otherwise you wouldn't have doubted profitability. Of course, Bitcoin is good investment, it has potential to give 1000% return in a year. Just invest.
177  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: November 24, 2017, 05:59:08 PM
Of course Bitcoin community is rising. Adoption rate is way too less when is compared to global population. Bitcoin still has potential to rise many folds and even touching $100Ks price range and that is not even far away. Thanks go the ever growing demand and mass adoption by big banks.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: November 24, 2017, 05:55:53 PM
Bitcoin is born out of criminality. All those early adopters who are millionaire today must be involved in something like that. Cheesy there is no deny to that. But today more than Bitcoin, other privacy coins are more threat and have better utility in criminal activities. Today Bitcoin stand nowhere there and is largely being replaced. I don't understand why world's governments are even worried about Bitcoin being used in criminality. Today nobody is using it really for it.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: November 24, 2017, 05:43:56 PM
It all comes down to decentralization. A normal man today can control his money that too with high rate of returns and away from fiat inflation. Another aspect to talk is Bitcoin can help in saving million of dollars in remittance fees. There might be a cloggage of pool recently with tons of drama. But fees is comparatively lesser than what banks and Western union charges as fees.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 24, 2017, 05:34:48 PM
To be honest, I don't see why Bitcoin will prevail as the best cryptocurrency in the market. It is a technology, without innovation Bitcoin can't maintain the top place anong cryptocurrencies. Sooner or later a better currency with better tech will replace it. Even Facebook did constant upgrades to maintain it's first position even after having first mover advantage. Without any upgradation, Bitcoin can't sustain its first place with obsolete technology. Bitcoin will go down with some other currency taking it place.
