Well this is good not for the bitcoin itself but for the traders and investors of it. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and it is already a legal cryptocurrency in many countries. Since this is a crypto, there's a possibility that everyone will be aware of it. Bitcoin reaches the highest security that any crypto failed. If there are many investors and traders of bitcoin, it will arise and increase its rate again and again. Bitcoin is having a possibility that will increase many folds as it reaches $100,000.

What do you think a about it? is it good or bad for bitcoin?

From 2-3 years back, the price of bitcoin was around $100-$200, and kept on coming up, today it has gone over$8000+ and it is still climbing and going to the moon. And this has been of success because of new investors that come into the community on daily basis, which means, if there is no more investors and users of bitcoin/crypto currencies, then it will be bad.
Therefore, the rise in the bitcoin community is good.

On the one hand we want people to come into the community and adopt, but will they be turned away by bitcoin's current issues? Will the scaling debate turn them off? Will the confusion of things like BCH and hardforks make them think twice? Or will they even do the research to learn about these things? 2018 will be an interesting year.
