Hi all, please forgive such a nub question but couldn't seem to find this in the forum and there's too many different answers on the 'net.
Picked up some altcoin, they got a cease and desist from the NASAA and looks like the biz could go under. Trying to figure out the best thing to do.
If I hold and the value goes to zero, can I write this off as a loss based on the value at time of purchase? Should I try to just dump it all and pray someone buys?

Current situation is on neutral.The price of bitcoin is corrected from 7000$ to 8000$.But the price reach maximum value of 9800$,due to some factors.The price is made a stability at 8000$,no need to worry for low value like 7000$.If you brought at the price of 7000$,even now you will get some profit.

When the price reach out 9900$,I think the price will reach the new peak.But I get a shock,due to one whale the bitcoin price reduce to 8000$ and then due the holders the price reduce to 8000$ from 8500$.More whale use to buy huge bitcoin now.If they sell thousands of bitcoin,the price will move to 5k$.

I agree 0.1 $ for electricity will be low as compared to my country.But I know ,in Africa the temperature is high compared to my country.For the Mining,we need to consider two things.One is the Electricity bill and second one cooling system.In Africa,I need to spend more money for cooling system as compared to my country.

Last 3 weeks growth has been slow, steady and strong amongst slight price fall now and then. Experts said the price would grow back by end of April and yes it happened. So will bitcoin price hit $20K by August 2018? I am sure yes if this current growth trend remains as it is.
What are your thoughts?
It seems will occur in the month of August.Every year their is huge raise in July - December,I think this year also we can expect huge raise in bitcoin price.20k$ is the expected peak of many investors.Personally I think the price of bitcoin will reach 20k$ by this August. |

Hi, I know Bitcoin since 2014. Sold my 3 BTC for $600,-  But I made also some better profit.. I'm in the crypto for all the great innovations. Not only for the money.. When I see this video from LIT then I see a bright future for blockchain. That's why I think blockchain can be MUCH bigger.. I mean MUCH bigger!! I have big expectations for crypto. I only invest in projects with innovative tech. If you do this the project will rise.  You had shared a nice video.Even I had sold 2 Btc at the rate of 500$,with some profit.The people who are sustain here from long will have same experience .If I had that bitcoin , when the price reach 19,000$.I will become a richest person in my society.I don't know at that time,the bitcoin price will move to mountain. |

If I could pick one crypto that suits for holding, that would be ethereum. Do you agree that this one is good for a holder ?
It's more established than other alts in the market and companies are adopting it.
You was on the correct path,don't change it.In 10th April,the price of Ethereum around 400$ .In 5th May,the price of Ethereum crossed 800$.But it happened in a period of 1 month.Nearly 100% profit in a month.So I think holding of Ethereum will be the best option as compared to other altcoin. |

Yes it happen.If you have a doubt about this just check the price chart of past month.In 10th April,the price of Ethereum around 400$ .In 5th May,the price of Ethereum crossed 800$.But it was not happen in two weeks ,it happened in a period of 1 month.As compared to bitcoin,the percentage of profit in this time was very huge. |

Actually,this occur very common in bitcoin.Because bitcoin is virtual currency,you should check the previous chart.The price of bitcoin is not only fluctuate from 10,000$ to 6000$.Last year the price reach 17,000$,now it only 8000$.No need to get panic for this.And no need to do panic selling.

do you think that to be sucesfull trader one needs to be lucky or not but rather work hard, learn etc. my opinion is that luck plays big part. i know i myself am not realy somewhat enough lucky in lottery, gaming and similar. evan worse, used to be highly unluck to the point i would feal the world is going against me on purpose. i know some people like me, who simply cant succide evan if they work extra hard, like givin more then 100 percent. something happens, always. so you can see how realy bad fealing it is when it happens over and over again, to the point one starts to cry. then the oposite ones. ones who simply have lucky hand. so which one are you?, or do you evan think there is such thing as luck, and does it play any part in this cryptogame?

I was not sure about this.Bitcoin is the decentralized currency,so anything will happen in anytime.You can't say,bitcoin will not reduce lower than 10,000$ after this month.When the price of bitcoin reach 19,000$,I had thought the price will cross 25k$ by the end of March.But what happened in the bitcoin?
